| Even though the controversy has died a natural death, it seems there's still something left to speak about. Months after Rakhi Sawant created a media furore over Mika's misbehaviour at his birthday party, the two have 'kissed and made up' on Zee's Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hain.
Forgiving mood
Producer Shashi Ranjan, who is responsible for getting the show back on air, confirmed that Rakhi is one of the guests. "You'll see a completely new side to Rakhi in that episode. She has always been looked upon as a sex object, but after watching her on Jeena…, it's going to change for sure."
When asked if Rakhi did indeed forgive Mika on the show, he said, "There is something to do with the controversy on the show, but you'll have to wait and watch to find out."
The talk show, previously hosted by Farooque Sheikh, will now return with a brand new look. Stepping into Sheikh's shoes is Roshan Abbas, who has already shot nine episodes.
Pleasant surprise
Abbas refused to comment on the Rakhi Sawant episode, but said he was upbeat about hosting the show.
"It was more than just a pleasant surprise when I got a call from Shashi Ranjan to be a part of this project. I loved the first season, and I'm a big fan of the way Farooque Sheikh conducted the proceedings. Also, the mix of television and film celebrities we have this time around is interesting."
Farooque as guest
Interestingly, Shashi wants to get Farooque as a guest on the show as well. "I haven't been able to get in touch with him, but it will be fun to have him in the guest's chair this time around," he said.
Rakhi was unwilling to talk about the episode, but added, "There has been an apology, but I don't want to give details. I want the audience to see it for themselves."
