"Wow, who ever thought that in three months you're show would be through the roof?" She said, as she sat in my arm watching my show, Geet Hui Sabse Parayi, which was now the best show in all of India.
"I know, I never even dreamt that my first show would be so famous" I replied.
"You remember how nervous you were when you went to audition the first day?" she said teasing me.
"Whatever, I wasn't nervous, I had just heard a lot about how good the female lead was so I thought I wouldn't live up to the mark" I argued.
"Guru, you know you don't have to be a stranger around me right? I mean, I know you since ages now" she reassured me.
"Deb, I know, but I really wasn't nervous" lying to myself and my girlfriend. But what else could I do, I couldn't let her realize that I was so intimidated by Drashti. Deb had done so much for me that no matter what I tried I wouldn't be able to give her anything in return. The least I could do is keep her happy and never break her heart.
Even if it meant denying my own feelings.
"Ok well, I'm going to bed, gotta get up early in the morning" and she kissed me goodnight.
"You go, I'll come in a bit, I still have to finish up all the visa paperwork" I said.
"It had been three months since the show started and we're already going international?! Wow, I'm one lucky newbie!" He thought to himself.
But, it's all because of her....I couldn't act naturally if my life depended on it! It all just becomes so natural with her..."Gurmeet, stop!! Don't think about her!! You can't do this!" He ordered himself, shaking his head.
It was a bit hazy but I could still remember almost exactly what happened on the first day of our auditions.

"Here's the buzzer, clip it on to your jeans, if it vibrates that means you have to move closer to her" Amit, Nissar's directing assistant ordered me.
"But why do I have to wear this? What if I don't feel the vibration? Can't you guys just scream it accross the room to move closer?"
"Abey kya karwayega? Nissar aaj ache mood mein nahi hain, and since this is your first audition, you don't even have a record to show him how well you act, so just listen to me, okay? We can't scream it across the room because it'll interfere with the sound and they're shooting from 4 different angles so no one can come too close to the shot" He explained.
"So we're really shooting, I thought I was auditioning" I was so confused!
"Complete rookie! We have to audition with you as if we're actually shooting otherwise we won't know what you're capable of" Amit exclaimed and walked away..
"it's not like I had anymore questions" I thought to myself as Amit walked away from me like I was some annoying kid.
Complete silence spread throughout the hall....and there she was, the famous, Drashti Dhami, the girl everyone thought did wonders in acting.."Dayyyam" she was hot! She looked at me as if she heard me say it but just kept going with the scene.
