Vikas and Pooja - they are practically "nobody"

Their main sponsor , alder Pharma (run by Kkusum's hubby) has backed out.

This is the great "Global recession", so Poo and his Voo have to sell the awards to earn their roz-roti and IF also needs some Rozi-roti😆, so they all have come togather to do this "Great Indian Laughter challenge", but in form of awards.

Jake - You wanna bet that this award will not have season 3 ? 😉😆

Anuj Saxena files case against Vikas Kalantri

Anuj Saxena, Vikas Kalantri and Pooja Ghai's company Whiteleaf held the Gold Awards function in Mauritius last year. This year, however things are very different as Anuj has already parted ways with Vikas and Pooja citing that his dues have not been cleared. The company registered next to no profit.

A source tells us, "Last year's function was a disaster. They took the entire TV fraternity to Mauritius but the show flopped. Vikas and Pooja had collaberated with Anuj's company. However, when Anuj saw that none of his dues were also being cleared, he left. This year the awards are going take place in Dubai. Anuj is not part of these awards anymore and following the split, it is illegal for them to give their awards property the same name (Gold). So Anuj has now served a legal notice to them. Now, Vikas' company is planning to decide a new name for the awards."

When contacted Anuj said, "Yes we have sent them a legal notice. I don't wish to talk about it"

On the other hand Vikas who is in Kolkatta right now, denies receiving any legal notice. He says, "I have not got any copy of any legal notice from him. We have changed the name of our awards function already as I wanted it registered internationally, so we got it registered and now it is called the Platinum Awards. Our name was already decided; even before he sent us any notice. As far as Anuj is concerned let him file the case, but he has no authority to file such a case."

So now the name has been changed to Platinum Awards or even Whiteleaf Awards, as a source informs us. But another issue is that TV giant Balaji and Vikas Kalantri do not share warm vibes due to which there was no participation from Balaji at the awards last year and this year too, it is very likely that Balaji will boycott the awards function.

The Platinum Awards will take place in Dubai on December 20 and will be telecasted on Zee TV.

Anuj Saxena and Vikas Kalantri fallout

Anuj Saxena and Vikas Kalantri, who together hosted first Gold Awards last year, had fallout few days back. Following their fight, Anuj decided not to take part in the award ceremony this year and has completely backed out from it.

"He is not a part of the award function this year. A few days back he and Vikas had a fallout. The thing is that the awards did not work out as they wanted it to but at the same time the contract was for three years and that is why initially invites had Anuj's company's name. But now with the fall out he has backed out," informs a source.

But Pooja and Vikas who are going ahead with the Gold Awards this year too say that their contract was only for a year and there is no question of a fall out.

"Our contract was only for a year and we have not renewed it. So that is why he is not partnering this year with us. That's all," says the duo.

The Gold Awards will be held in Dubai this year from December 19th to 21st. It is the first television award which will take place aboard. This year Poonam Dhillion who walked in two hours late for the conference today is amongst jury members along with Sanjay Khan, Sajid Khan, Dheeraj Kumar and others.

Those are some of the crappiest nominations I ever saw.

Some of them are deserving, the rest are blaaaahhh! 🤢

Especially shocked abt Naagin nominated as best show! 😲

Its such a stupid, 3rd grade show, with snake woman mumbo jumbo and a terrible storyline. 😆

Its like a remake of the B-grade snake movies of the 80s. 😆

Must be becuz Dheeraj Kumar, one of the jury, is good friends with Aruna Irani the maker of Naagin.

Hey, Isnt Pooja Ghai the actress who was in every other serial before? So she married this event organizer? and now theyre organizing awards shows......give money, take awards? 😆

Becuz they are too broke to pay their own partners.....waah waah kya idea hai. 😆😆

Pooja Ghai has a daughter by her first husband now she divorced her and again married (I am not sure)😆😆 to this guy .. do u remember that pooja ghai Dance in 2005 ITA award with our Pappu.😆😆😆''rain is falling chhamachham'' omg that was a horrible dance ,i ever seen in my life

Pooja has a son by her 1st husband.

I always disliked her in all serials. She was in Kutumb too, in Rabba Ishq na Hove, in the B R Chopra one, in every 2nd show she was there.

yeah I remember her horrible dance with Pappu...😆 I dont think I ever watched the whole dance. I was feeling like throwing up. 🤢
