Iqbal Khan talks of his first stint as host with 9X' gripping show on supernatural stories, 'Sambhav Kya?'...

The INX Network's Hindi General Entertainment Channel 9X is all set to add even more variety to its weekend primetime band. Starting Friday, the 10th of October, Sambhav Kya? will air from 10 pm to 11 pm every Friday and Saturday.

Produced by Siddharth and Antara Kak's Cinemavision, Sambhav Kya? explores the ambiguity and mysticism of the supernatural to create an engrossing show based on folklore and legend. The stories are held together by powerful narration, by the show's host, popular television star Iqbal Khan.

The show is based on supernatural and unusual happenings. There will be two or three stories per episode. The stories have a kernel of truth in them, meaning that they're based on fact. They're not just ghost stories; for instance, there could be a story about a lady who, when she goes for an ultrasound, is told that she's carrying twins. But when she gives birth, it's just one child. That may have happened because the lady prayed that she doesn't want two children since she can't afford to take care of them both.
