OS---KR--REUNION
part 1
Friends... just a thought came to my mind...
(...continuation after yesterday's episode...)
Saying Sorry again, Vishnu leaves from Raji's cabin leaving her alone with tears.
Raji cries her heart out for a while, wipes her tears, goes to the washroom, opens the tap and washes her face with chill water. She keeps splashing water until the chillness enters into her and soothes her burning heart inside. She then wipes off the wetness and comes to the cafetaria. She has a cup of steaming Coffee. The Coffee relaxes her and a slight feeling of refreshment occupies her. She comes to her cabin... On the way... while she crosses Karthik's cabin, she peeps through the glass door for a second...
Karthik was holding Raji's photo in his left hand and his right hand fingers swiftly moved on her signature on the Divorce paper. A drop of tear rolls out from his eye, travels on his thick beard and falls on the paper.
Raji moves from there and comes to her cabin.
Raji thinks about the happenings and eventhough she was able to read Karthik's mind, she wanted an open confession from him this time. She is able to see that Karthik is struggling hard to admit his mistake, his so called EGO is stopping him from confrontation. She just wanted him to be happy. The day he lost his parents, she wanted to console him, hug him and assure him that he was not alone. But she didn't do it, instead she scolded him that he was responsible for their death. Raji starts analysing what went wrong between them... After thinking , thinking and thinking she decides what should be done and goes to Viswanathan Sir's room.
R: sir...
V: yes...
R: I need permission to go home sir...
V: why? any important work?
R: I'm not feeling well... sir... i need some rest...
V: Ok... is there any work to be attended immediately?
R: nothing of that sort Sir... I'll come back tomorrow and continue...
V: Ok... Raji... go home... and take good rest...
R: Thank you sir...
Raji moves from there but stops as Sir calls her. She turns and looks at him.
V: Raji... remember one thing... when situations are out of our control... just step aside and see the
whole situation as a third person... then you will definitely have many solutions to a single problem.
R: i understood sir.
Viswanathan smiles and Raji goes to her cabin, takes her stuff and gets out of office. She purchases some important things on the way and goes home.
Karthik keeps looking at Raji's photo for quite sometime and puts it down. He looks at her signature on the divorce papers and puts them in the envelope and keeps it in his draw. He tries to concentrate on his work but couldn't. Vishnu's words keep haunting in his mind. He shook his head and comes out of his cabin. Anbu mama sees him and asks what happened. Karthik tells him that he's not feeling good. Anbu maama asks him to go out and relax. Karthik nods a yes and comes out of office, gets on his bike and drives to the beach.
Karthik parks his bike and walks on the seashore. He fondly remembers the way he fell in love with Raji... their first meeting, their first outing to Mahabalipuram etc., etc., He comes near the sea and sits on the sand. The waves are competing with the flood of thoughts running in his mind...
He remembers the way Raji wiped her tears before signing. He thinks if only separation will give her happiness why should he block her way. On the day of their marriage he promised many things to her. He was ready to sacrifice anything and anyone for her happiness. But he himself snatched that happiness from her. He tried to remember when was the last time he saw Raji laughing whole heartedly ... he couldn't remember... then he asked himself when did HE laugh or even smiled whole heartedly... he couldn't recollect.
What's happening in his life? it seemed everything was out of his control. He took a handful of sand. HE tried to hold it tightly , but the sand stipped from his fist and started pouring down. In a few minutes, his fist was empty, leaving a little of wet sand in his palm. A thought splashed in his mind. Is life slipping out of his control?
If at all Raji leaves him and moves on , will he be able to live his LIFE only with the memories? otherwise will he be able to forget her and move on?
"NOOO" screamed his heart.
When Raji was not ready to go against her father and didn't let her feelings out, it was HIM who poured his heart out to her. He was the one who confessed LOVE first. But today why is he expecting Raji to take a step towards him. In fact after Susan issue she pleaded, cried, threatened and did all possible ways to ask forgiveness for the mistake she did. He was the one who didn't listen to her pleas... he was the one who was Stubborn and Adamant... Agreed... What she did was a Mistake... but she got punished for that ...
Now... the DIVORCE ... will be a LIFE SENTENCE for Him...
Karthik quickly decided what should he do now and once he firmly believed to set right the things., a smile appearedon his face...
It was getting dark., Karthik stood up, looked at the sea once, reached his bike and rode towards home, with a firm decision...
