K tells R, though he is confident that living in the same house for one more year in not going to change anything between them, he accepts to fulfill meesai's wish as he still respects him and family. Raji also agrees for this..Says that he can do anything he wishes ,can drink as he wish write a poem or even build a monument for the person he missed. Similarly she will live her life as per her wish and he cant not interfere in that.K says that she has told everything he wanted to tell.

I do have a question raji and karthik are educated right? how come they decided to apply for divorce just like that? they havent even been married for a year. messai telling them even the court will make them stay together for a year why dont these two think before speaking... honestly😡

I will say raji does have love even still she wants her old karthik back, when she was telling her parents her tears her expression, whereas karthi standing there like a maaram. even at the end scene when raji says all that her eyes say one thing just her mouth speaking whereas karthi acts like he doesnt care.
