its about not helping her, his frustration is she didnt left him to help . For a third person its look like karthik took revenge by spoiling the presantation.this is the thing haunts him. He needs emitional support .He denies the support frm Raji .now no one is there to help him . This loneliness,frustration ,guilt make him to behave arrogant .dont know where it leads .
