I accept Susan's intention is not good... but a person who is in higher level is expected to do the job of those below their levels... if required...

to quote an instance... i've seen a Manager who pitch in to code when the programmer is unable to fix the bug.. or else unavailability of person... she wud stay back late! along with the programmers... I don't find any insult here...

as Karthik said.. Susan might not use these data.. but atleast he can state that he has done some task during bench period...

again its my opinion... and respect yours as well...
