Scene 1: Leelai saree store

Aravinthan enters.
Aravinthan: Yaaruda unga muthalali?
Leelai: Naan thaan muthalali, ena venum?
Aravinthan: Aiyaa vera sonaaru.
Leelai: Vara mudiyathunu solu..
Immediately Aravinthan points his gun at Leelai. The store is deserted.

Scene 2: Vennila's house

Vennila: Appa, naan poitu varan.
Thenkasi: Paarthu kavanama pomma.
Rajeswary: Avala paarthu pora solaratha vittitu, avala vera yaar koodavavathu vambukku poha venaan-nu solunga.
Thenkasi: Yaendi panurathellam nee, ana ena ava kitta eduthu sola solaria?
Venila: Amma, naan varan.
Vennila leaves the house.
Thenkasi: Parthiyadi.. Padicha thimiru.. Ponnu konjam padicha pothum-nu sonen kettiyadi.. Paithiyakkari. Poi kaafee-ya podudee.
Rajeswary: Sareenga.
Rajeswary leaves. Thenkasi is displeased by Vennila's attitude.

Scene 3: Chennai, Leelai saare store.

George: Hello? do you know where this street is? (George hands out a small piece of paper containing an address written in tamil)
Leelai's son (Anbu): Arthorath theru.. Ippadi neraa poi peethankai pakkam thrumbina oru murugan kovil varum.. Appuram..
Mano (friend): (interuppts) Dei, velakaarankita poi thamizh-a persuriyedha?
Anbu: poi, vennila-va kootitu vaa.
Mano leaves.
Anbu: Wait panu.. Wait.. Wait..
Leelai's son, Anbu, said that a few times to ensure that George understood what he was saying. George waited and Anbu prayed to his dad photo.
Anbu: nee poi oru varumsam adyiduchu.. Ana antha pavi innumu uyiroda than irukkan. Innum evalavu naaliku irukkaanu naanum parkiren.
Mano enters.
Anbu: Engada Vennila?
Mano: Vennila itha kudukka solichu.. (he handed a small paper note to George with all the directions)
George: Thanks.. Thanks.
George leaves.

Chinna: Arvintha, avana poi oru thatu thatinaa ellam sari verum.
Aravinthan: Chinna, avane epavo pottirukanum aana neethan pulla kuttinu vida sona, ippa parthiya?
Chinna: Dei, avana pottu thazhlinaa, police straight-a inga than varum. Nee poi rendu thattu thattu avan sola mattan. sola mattan.
Aravinthan leaves immediately.

Vennila was walking down the hill and was daydreaming about how her featureless lover should look like. Suddenly, she bumbed into Aravinthan and she opened her eyes slowly, she saw her featureless lover becoming personified with the features of Aravinthan. But Aravinthan didn't waste any of his time admiring the beauty of Vennila. It took Vennila few minutes to come back to reality, then she made her way home. She was fully contaminated by the distinctive features of Aravinthan.
