EPISODE 157 ( 20 Oct 2010)

WILL RAMYA POISON BHARAT???

The scene continues where Ramya is shocked and confused whether she should poison Bharat's coffee or not as requested by the blackmailer caller...She panics and sweats profusely..how is she to do such an act on her beloved Boss Bharat... She opens the poison packet and then slowly opens the flask to pour out the coffee...she takes the poison in the paper and cries " Andhavar ennai maneechere and calms herself down and pour the poison into the coffee..and stirs it..

She then takes it to Bharat's room.. and she hesitates at his door and then slowly opens and enters his room.. she panics and she starts to wipe her sweat away and calls out " Sir and approaches Bharat and hands over the coffee to him . And he ask her why are your hands are shivering are you not feeling well ??? She said she is ok . She looks at him as he raises his coffee cup to his mouth to drink it...He is drinking it...and then she ask to leave for her room...He said ok and continue drinking the poison coffee. ( Could it really be poison ? or could it be somebody testing her to see if she is thunachal enough to commit any crime in order to cover up her previous crime???)

She goes back to her room and cries out " Muruga" ..and looks up at her watch.. then she comes back to Bharat's room only to find him lying back on his seat with his eyes closed..She panics and cries oh no.her eyes almost popped out looking at Bharat motionless.... and then suddenly he gets from his short nap and tells her the coffee cleared his headache and says extraordinary coffee and thanks her. He asked her why? And she said she just wanted to know if finished the coffee..He said unger kai rasi ahner kai kudheechudum thalavalee pochee..if you don't mind onor 1 hrs time bring a much better coffee than this. She said sure and goes back to her room.

As she gets back to her room , her mobile rings again and hesitantly she answers the call . The caller laughs..and says you must be afraid...do not worry the what you mixed into the coffee was merely sugar and not poison. The caller said so , to save your skin you will kill anybody right ?? and laughs Ha ha ha ...She asked the caller why are you torturing me..and 😭😭😭😭😭cries and says she cannot go on like this anymore..and calls out " Aiyo kadavuley!!!!😭😭😭😭😭

EASWARY LOSES HER NECKLACE
The police arrives at Easwary's house and starts investigating the lost jewel.lery The police enquires on the people who live in that house. They proceed to enquire the maid and her room, and then inspector asks both RK and his mum where are their rooms and have they seen the jewellery. Step mum gets agitated and says they have not seen the jewellery before and they have nothing to do with the missing jewellery. RK gets tension when the police wants to check their rooms in the name of complete investigations. Step mum then tells if Easwary believes them then she should tell the inspector to not search their room.

Easawary hesitates and tells the inspector not to search their room but the Inspector says it his duty to check the rooms in order to investigate the theft and perhaps the person who had stolen may have hidden it in RK & his mum's room. RK says the room has been locked since this morning but then proceed to allow the inspector to do a check. Inspector could not find anything in the room. Easwary step mum says angrily " Ippo unnaker threeptitahney???

Inspector then ask what is the value of the jewellery...Easwary looks blank and said it was a gift from a friend Bharat..Inspector then insist to proof that the jewellery existed and stolen is only can be done by the receipt of the jewellery. He ask Easwary to get Bharat to produce the receipt for the jewellery. Easwary feels unhappy at where this investigation is getting to but she agrees to call Bharat to come. Mother and son prancing about their room...angrily.

Easwary calls Bharat and tells him not to be angry and tells that she had lost the necklace and explains what had transpired at her house. She request for him to comeby her house with the receipt as it the only proof the jewellery existed. Bharat says why all this , she pleads with him and he hesitantly agrees to come.

Police and Easwary are waiting for Bharat. Bharat walks in. Bharat is queried for the receipt and the value of the jewellery and he said its worth 25 lakhs and he hands over the receipt to the inspector. Inspector then ask what is the purpose of Bharat giving her the gift. Bharat dislike the question and he said that is very personal as to why he gifted the necklace to Easwary. Inspector insist and he said he only gave it because she was a very good old friend and Easwary interjects and says you forgot to mention it was my birthday gift. Bharat agrees. Inspector then ask where Bharat lives and Bharat gives him his business card. Inspector says he will investigate the jewellery shop to get a copy of picture of the jewellery and will keep them updated. The cops leave. Bharat wants to take leave but Easwary insist he stay for a cup of coffee..and he agrees and follows her in.

RK starts pondering..hmm birthday present..25 lakhs worth of necklace..hmmm..Isn't her birthday is in December...so she is lying .....Thodarum...

DR. MAHA's HOUSE
Phone rings and Susheela (gangster Sangupandi's wife) calls her to thank Dr. Maha for helping her get away from her miserable husband and now she is enjoying a peaceful life and its because Dr. Maha had also reunited her with her estranged parents. ( Gangster Sangupandi had duped, eloped and married Susheela ( M Pharm degree holder) and start open an illegal pharmacy in her name to sell drugs and fake medicines. Dr. Maha's ill patients report to her and Dr. Maha reported Sangupandi & Sanguthayee to police and then made arrangement to bring Susheela out of jail and reunite her to her parents)

EPISODE 158 ( 21 OCT 2010)

DR MAHA'S FINAL ULTIMATUM
Scene opens with Ramya asking for a cup masala chaaya to Amudha...Amudha busy cutting veges get super pissed off being asked like a maid, tells off Ramya to prepare her own tea. Both sisters starts shouting at each other throat, with Amudha waving the knife in her hand at Ramya who pulls it from her and the shouting match goes on. Dr. Maha comes and breaks the verbal fight...and ask them what is the issue as she can hear the ruckus from her clinic next door..Ramya says all she asked was for a cup of tea and Amudha started shouting and waving the knive at her. Amudha then chides Ramya in other peoples house ( Bharat's house) Ramya madam can go to the kitchen and prepare all kinds food and drinks why in their own house she can't even lift a spoon to prepare a drink...shouting match continues..Dr. Maha ask them to stop and instruct sAmudha lovingly to prepare 2 cups of tea...Amudha..pissed and goes into the kitchen..

Dr Maha beckons Ramya to sit down and calm herself down , why so much of anger for a cup of tea... Dr. Maha chides ellarukum kovamattam korachal illai, appanodu gonam appadheevanthederiruku.." Dr, Maha, tell Ramya, she has thought thinks very thoroughly about the future of the family and especially Ramya, she says she wants to leave Chennai head back to Ooty. Puzzled looking Ramya ask her why and her mum says when they were in Ooty there was so much peace and happiness but over here everyday there is problems between siblings and all sorts of worries about all of their futures..especially where their lives are heading without father. Ramya says she is so used to Chennai and she cannot go back to Ooty life

Ramya says she is very much happy in Chennai, as she's got a good job, fantastic pay, she loves her life here..so why should she leave everything and go back to Ooty. Dr. Maha says she is the only happy one here but everybody else is not happy here. Basically I told you to leave your job and not have anything to do with Bharat and not to go to their house but you refuse to listen to me. And your boss then offers better pay and perks for you not to leave your job and I feel all this is not right and that is why the only option is to leave Chennai and head back to Ooty..

Ramya's says you have your own opinion on this matter and I have my own opinion regarding this and I am doing what I am comfortable so basically you can't force me to conform to your wishes. Dr. Maha' says we are not having a debate here who is who is wrong, but as a mother is my responsibility and duty to take care of my family and daughters especially their safety. Ramya raises her voice at her mother and says what safety are you talking about..She then mention I had listened to your brother Tamil and you and brought the entire family to Chennai.. Then see what happens , one son has resigned to his unfortunate fate and gone away and I am prepared to lose another child. So just as how I brought you guys here I am taking you guys back to Ooty so when at least when your father turns up I am able to say I have safely guarded our children during your absence. Then when your father returns, you all can tell him how each of you'll want to live your lives and take it from there. I will not interfere thereafter.. Amudha walks in with the teas.

Ramya, then disgustingly says, what do you think I am do you think I am a cow/goat that you say come I come you say I go....Dr. Maha shocked in hearing words uttered by Ramya and ask her have we ever treated your like adamai madheree...???? we have given you so much freedom unlike other parents and brough you up...thats our biggest mistake...it is you who have misuse the freedom and treated me your mother like your adimai, vaa naa vanden poh na ponen... Its not happening anymore..We are all going to Ooty....that is final...but..

Dr. Maha, gives her adheengerpidhari daughter Ramya her final ultimatum, if you do not want to follow us to Ooty, and if you do not want your parents and siblings and if you think your office and job is important, if you think your salary is important, if you think your boss is important, and most of all your happiness is most important to you.......then you can decide for yourself what you want to do..Dr. Maha walks away leaving the puzzled Ramya.

SARASWATHY & GAYATHRI
Saraswathy tells Raman that they all should go and visit Gaythri' s husband and family to resolve Gayathiri's problems..Raman says we need to resolve it and then make sure we leave Gayathiri in her husband's house . Gayathri asks her brother what is bothering him if she stayed in her mothers house .And Raman replies because once a woman is married her house is her husband's house and that is only respectable. Hema's grandmother listening this couldn't believe her ears that Raman said such..and Ram🤢🤢🤢🤢looked injitheener pooli madheree...

Grandmother then says "oruker ubudhesam pannerekage ungala meenjerkerkerther aalai kadhegather"...Raman says "naan panneredher ubudhesam nyayamana allengerkage nyayama irrukum"....Saras interrupts vaakervadam between them by asking bus money from Raman, but he refuse to give saying he is bankrupt ( but got money to give to Maria his lover)...and then he ask his mum to ask Lakshman the money lender..

Lakshman subtly advises his sister, though he understand her problems, but to fulfill Gayathiri;s husbands requests.. it is impossible with their economic situation. Grandmother also gives her motherly advise to Gaythiri be saamather...as she is an educated girl and not to make any hasty decision as it involves her married life and family's pride too...and when her mother says I know my daughter will do the right thing..Gaythri feels uplifted and agrees to follow her mother to speak to her husband. Lakshman then gives them money to go and Gaythiri thanks Lakshman..and Lakshman wishes them safe journey and poner kareeyum must be solved amicably and successully. Gaythiri says ippo naan amma kudher poiyethu varen....THODARUM

Poongkoodi ( She Devil Wife of Tamil)

A kaankoolerther kachee...Madam Poongkodi is beating clothes ( er I mean washing clothes outside her house..when her beloved Snaky mother comes to visit her..( btw she was chased away by Tamil)... Seeing her, washing clothes in hi noon sun, mother heart almost bleeds.😆😆😆..( she should have taught her daughter to do better housework rather how snatch a guys life and destroy it). Both will hug and cry and Poongkodi will complain to her mum that Tamil is torturing her. Poongkodi said what she expected did not happen instead she never expect he will torture her. Mother chides its all your fault, I told you from the begining it wasn't a good idea but you refuse to listen , and now I lost my husband and you are here being tortured instead of your plan to torture Tamil.Immediately Madam Poongkoodi wants to commit suicide and runs out of the house because her mother blamed her for her father's death ( btw she is very apt in threatening others around that she wants to commit suicide, like how she threaten Tamil's mum Dr. Maha ..Please Poongkoodi ..no one will miss you...just do as you say..hate to see your face on this serial...a real energy sapper)

She runs to jump in the well..Mother stops her and calls her silly and then mother advises her to leave Tamil cos Tamil might..kill you off. sooner or later.So mother decides to ask Tamil 25 laksham ruba.cos his child is being carried by Poongkodi ..Mother tells her that with that amount of money we can do anything.We will take the money and joot...to some kan kanather edhuthu..then deliver the baby and give it up for adoption and then joot to our village and pretend none of this happens .Daughters loves her mother's idea but says you start the topic today when Tamil comes home. Poongkoodi has some doubts what if Tamil refuse. Her mum says as long as he can get away from you he will even beg, steal or borrow to give you the money.. ( Enna amma vum ponnum...cheh..inther maree jenmum iruntha enna seytha enna..)

Ramya's Decision To Move To Ooty

Dr. Maha speaks to someone in Ooty, as Ramya walks in. Dr. Maha ask the person to find her a house in Ooty and an additional building for her clinic for rental as she tells the person she is planning to move back to Ooty with ehr family. Dr. Maha ask Ramya what is her decision on leaving for Ooty..She said why so soon and her mum explains there is too much expenses, too much of problems and worries here but as long as I can take all my children back safely to their father, I will be in peace. Ramya then says , why not find father here and hand us over to father while we are still here in Chennai.

Dr. Maha then says she had a family discussion with Amutha and Prabhu and they all agreed to move back to Ooty. Even your father I believe will definitely second my idea for all of us to move back to Ooty. Ramya then says to her mother the reason you want us all to move to Ooty is because you do not like me working in Bharat's office is that right. Her mum agrees. She says you are asking what is in you heart and I am doing what my heart says to do. Ramya feels the pinch of those words..cos she used them earlier to her mum .

Dr. Maha explains the benefits of moving..Ramya asked her mum for 2 days..extension to think and tell her mum her final decision whether she wants to join the rest of the family and move to Ooty. Mum is surprised by this requests and chides her I guess you all have grown up and just to move with the family you got to think twice..never mind think and tell me your decision mum tells her.

In Ramya's head she hears Bharat telling her to take 2 days to think it out, but he tells her please make sure outcome is positive. I am always waiting for you. Another side of the voice she hears her mother's voice..asking her to understand to reason they have decided to move.. which will she hear and follow ???? ( So Ramya must have discussed this with Bharat and Bharat is using all his care and concern ( actually wily charms) to prevent Ramya from leaving him. Wake up Ramya, your mother is trying to save you but you insists in walking into Bharat's trap..wake up before it is too late)

Gayathri & Saraswathy Meets Gayathri's Husband

Husband surprised to see his wife is back as he thought she will stay longer in her mother's place. He is surprised to see his MIL, and Gayathri says she has told everything including your requests for the money. MIL then says lets all talk this out and resolve it amicably..SIL says we can talk when he gets back home from work. As he heads out he calls out Gayathri and then asks her did you mention anything else (the issue between us ) apart from the money issue..Gaythiri pretends not to know which issue her husband was referring to ..

Husband gets pissed of and Gayathri gets super pissed off and says..why can't you mouth out that problem are embarassed or do you find the issue is a really kevalam..If only my mother knows this she will not even look at your face...Don't fret about it as I had not mentioned the truth and the depth of our problem to my mother. We shall discuss this when you get back home she tells her busband off...( Serve him right)

Saraswathy asks her daughter what did her SIL said to her and Gayathiri kindal her mother that your Beloved SIL is overwhelmed to see you and she ask her mum to go freshen up and relax. Saraswathy tells her when SIL comes we must sit down and solved this money issue amicably only then I will be at peace..Daughter then says if that is the case you will not be at peace at all..And Saras looks worried but she assures her its nothing and ask her to go in. Gayathri looks worried.

SIL gets back home , MIL offers coffee he declines. Gayathiri then asks usually when he finishes work , he will bring his friends to the house how come today he did not bring anyone. SIL says I did not bring in respect of my MIL presence..but if you don't mind I can bring..Gayathri blasts him of his uttam purushan marumagan nadagam..Saraswathy scolds her daughter for speaking like that to her husband and chases her to the kitchen, Saraswathy wants to discuss with SIL. Her daughter said that is old style discussion, whatever you want to discuss , do it in my presence. Gayathri husband also says the same thing.

Saraswathy, mentions that her SIL did not ask for any varatharachanai during wedding time, so why now ask for such a large sum. You know I can't afford the amount..so.....Gayathiri chips in and says so my mum wants you to send me with her for good. Saraswathy scold her daughter and once again she begs her SIL to not ask that much money and please accept her daughter and live with her happily like how they use to be.

SIL tries to put it nicely, and says during the wedding he did not need it but now he needs the money. He says he only has his MIL so his MIL must somehow give him the 10 lakhs. Sarawathy cries and begs her SIL to change his decision but SIL says if that is the case, then you can keep your daughter in your house for good.

Gayathiri has a smile on her face. She ask her mum is this enough or you need some more..you heard everything. Saras was even willing to fall on her SIL feet. Gaythiri stops her. Seeing this SIL has a sudden change of heart and then tell his MIL Ok now I do not need the money...what about all this years we have been together and we have no children..what are you going to do about it ? You can't afford to give me the money, so take your daughter back . MIL ask SIL to be patience. SIL says.either you give me 10 lakhs or ask your daughter to give me a child..I have made my decision..its final....which can you ask your daughter to do. ???? You decide?? ( What does he thinks; his MIL printing money or is she the Governor of the bank or Is she GOD to give them a child...what a childish idiot..its best Gayathiri..cuts this fellow out of her life for good)

NB: What kind of husband..what if its because of him they cannot have a child but he conveniently puts the blame on his wife ??? That is what commonly happening around the world ..another excuse to get another wife. Is that why he is asking for money??? If he was noble he could have broached this subject with Gayathiri asking her family to help out so that they can try some IVF, etc other means of getting a child..instead he wants money just like that..cos he thinks he can compensate his marriage and childless life which he puts the value at 10 lakhs ( is that how much you are worth???)..How about Gayathiri why don't you also ask Nashtayehder from your husband after all you also kuuperkottaran with him for so long and you are childless too as a result of it....Husband ke oru nyayam and pondatiker vera nyayamah ????

Sangupandi ( the thug) sees Hema ( Raman's wife ) walking to the market..Sangupandi then vambu illakaran with her..He insults her regarding Lakshman and then he accuses her illicit relationship with Lakshman. She warns him and he kept on insulting her and Lakshman, so she slaps and warns him in nada theru...and walks away. Sangupandi says he is going to kidnap her and spoil her life as revenge for slapping him. ( Basically unneccesary scene..why this tamil serial directors love to do such atrocious scenes against women)

EPISODE 160 ( 26 OCT 2010)

Scene continues with Poongkoodi and her Mother Aboorva Sindamani asking Tamil for 25 lakhs..so that she will take her daughter away from Tamil's life. Tamil looking disbelieved and said if I give that amount will you guys disappear from my life? They both said yes, and Poongkoodi says as soon as the paise comes I will no longer stay with you..and you can go back to your beloved mother and family and live happily ever after...Tamil says that is a big amount..and Aboorava Sindamani says that should not be a problem for you..as your father is a big police officer and your mother is a big doctor..so you can easily porataran the money for us...Tamil agrees to their demands and says I will arrange for the money ASAP and leaves..Mother and daughter looks with glee...enna nenaichai,,..sindamani ah kokka va...

Hema's grandma calls Maria and informs her that she will be coming to see all of them and to make sure Maria's father is at home...Maria informs her dad about the pending arrival of Hema's grandma @ka Raman's grandma.. Maria father is happy to hear she is coming as it will clear all doubts about Raman..whether he is RAMAN or RAVANAN....

RK shows his mum the missing diamond necklace. His mum asked him what is he going to do about the necklace, he said he took it away from Easwary..and now he is going to return it back to her , pretending that he had found it. Easwary will then start to believe him 200 % and from there we can easily deceive her...

Saraswathy starts her opari cries and her daughter Gayathri tries to console her. Gayathri says no point crying and nothing is going to happen positively. Saraswathy chides her for not adjusting and disrespecting her husband and that is why men try to use this as an excuse to leave her for good. Gayathri, says all other things you can adjust in life, but not when husband ask the wife to adjust...its pure kevalam..its better to thalamulangaran and live happily. Gayathiri says if her mum can take of her...she will follow her back home if not she will find her own way...Saras chides her and says a mother will never abandon her child and told Gayathri to do what pleases her...Gayathri insist they leave for Chennai by midnight.

Ramya in a state of confusion , thinking what would her decision should be , whether to leave her job, Bharat and move back with her family to Ooty or to defy her mother and stay in Chennai. She looks at the Taj Mahal ( which Bharat had given her as a pokieysham..when they went on a Business trip to Delhi together ) She cries and her eyes gazes at her Father and Mother's photo on the wall...and she cries again and also her gaze falls on her family photo on the wall and she reminisces the good times they had as a family in Ooty..

Then she hears her manasatchi ( all decked in Black saree) calling her to come towards her...and laughing....at her....The manasatchi then ask her "What are you thinking , family is important or Bharat is important to you? Are you thinking if whether you want to stay in Chennai or you want to go back to Ooty...To make a decision is difficult..What is, is your decision....Ramya answers I do not know..Then manasatchi says ..its our life , you must make a decision...Think straight first..decide who is utmost important to you..Your future is important to you...And you known deep down you are in love with Bharat.do not deny it...Ramya looks forlorn...You are unable to leave him and go...And you know if you are a girl , you will definitely have to marry someone and leave your family...why don't you marry Bharat..He also loves you...then your future is secure...Ramya says Bharat is already married and he has Jyothi who is dependent of him...Manasatchi says Jyothi..is mentally not stable...so there is a better chance and all the more reason for you and Bharat to get married... ...Manasatchi...says you will definitely will not follow your mother to Ooty instead you will marry Bharat...and Manasatchi starts laughing and says we shall meet at your wedding.....and poof she leaves.....

Ramya is in doubt...what shall she do ? Follow her mother and forget Bharat or defy her mother and marry the 2 timing rascal Bharat....???????

Scene between Saraswathy & Gayathri's husband Raguram, she ask what is his decision, he smugly says money is everything, give me the money and you can leave your daughter here with me or else take her back with you. Gayathri being pissed off with her husband's attitude fires him left right centre..and tells him before leaving.. you can say many things negative about me, but thats ok, but all I need is to say one thing about you and you are finished...Raguram looks like scorpion bitten...and just keeps quiet. ( Takita takita takita takatom takatom 2x BG Music)

Tamil comes and tells his nocturnal drinking buddies Kathir, that his rachasee wife & MIL wants 25 lakhs...then they will leave him for good...The others says why not we finish them off, but Kalkande said he would not hesitate to do it but unfortunately Poongkoodi is pregnant....Tamil ask them how to get the money quick...his buddies tells him even once his child is born and grown up also you will never can get that amount in this lifetime via honest way..So he has to join them and he will achieve his 25 lakhs...as long as the sanieeyan leaves him and goes away for good he is willing to do anything legal or illegal. So after a long contemplation, he agrees to join his buddies...

Raman's grandma er... I meant Hema's grandma arrives at the Josephs residence..( Maria's house) habba finally Raman's thandavalam vandavalam is coming to light...Waiting for her there are Maria's parents and her brother who is a priest, Father Thomas. She meets all of them...Maria's father then asks her what is the important thing she wanted to tell them about Raman.

She asks them why they wanted to marry their daughter to Raman. They said because their daughter Maria was in love with Raman. She asked them just because your daughter loves him you would not find out his background etc..They said because their daughter knows about him for 4 years so they did not investigate any further. She also queries them if they had investigated all about Raman, his religion, his faith, his mother and brother, sister ?? They said they have and Raman had said his family might be against the wedding as Maria's parents want him to convert to Christianity. She asked have they not want to go and meet Raman;s family but they said Raman was against it as he was afraid his siblings will be against it, but they mention to her he did bring his mum to the house. Grandma says if Raman really loves your daughter and wants to marry her he should not be afraid to confront his family and his siblings have no right to stop this marriage. Raman is only afraid of his mother, so instead of taking you all to his house to meet his family he brought his mother to meet you all..

Grandma then says the biggest mistake you did was when Raman had agreed to change his religion and you all were delighted and failed to find out who he really is. She then putu putufyes all his secrets...Raman is a married man, she tells them Raman had married her granddaughter Hema 2 years back. All of them are shocked to hear this news... And Maria's father then asks who was theat lady who came posing as his mother. Grandma says if only Saraswathy knows about this she will die.

Grandma asked them why are you people are so eager to believe him and agree to marry off your daughter to him once he had agreed to change religion. They said they were against it but had to reluctantly give in as his daughter and Raman has been living like husband and wife for 4 years. Grandma is shocked of this revelation..she said she came here to save their daughter Maria and to salvage her grandaughter's Hema marriage instead now they have to deal with another problem. They have to sit down and talk this out. They ask her how can they trust all that she had said about Raman, she said she has no ulterior motives to lie to them, they can even come to Raman's house and gives them the address and see for themselves the truth...

Maria's father dejected, angrily says he will not leave Raman in peace...Grandma suggest they speak to Raman first, and then they shall take it from there. Maria weeps at the thought of being duped by Raman for 4 years.... ..Thodarum...

Scene moves to Ramya at the prayer altar lighting the lamp.. She seetu kulukuran and ask God to show her the right way...She tells if she picks Kunguma means she will marry Bharat, but if she picks Vibuti she will follow her mum to Ooty...She prays and picks one paper..and it contains..................Kunguma..hmmm(yikes) but she is delighted...by it and puts the kunguma on her head...smiling of her prospect of marrying Bharat..

Now how is she going to break the news to her mum...Her mother saw her praying and she saw that Kunguma had been selected.She tells her mother what she prayed..So mother says she wants to try this Kunguma Vibuti jadhagam..so mum says if Kunguma comes it means they all leave Chennai (incld Ramya)...but if Vibuti comes they all stay back together....She ask Ramya to pick and guess what its Kunguma....Maha is delighted and tells her Ooty ke porum and neeyum enge kudher varai...Ramya..looks confused...enna Ramya yosikarai...saamy varan kudherthertara..so off we go to Ooty........THODARUM....

EPISODE 162 (28 Oct 2010)

Scene continues as of yesterday between Dr. Maha and Ramya. Dr. Maha tells Ramya Kadavul has given the varan to leave Chennai for Ooty and all of us are leaving together.
Dr. Maha leaves Ramya to ponder....Ramya looking puzzled does not know what to do or say...

In the office, Bharat is pacing to and fro in his cabin....wondering what happened to Ramya.Ramya has turned up at the office for 2 days. He was thinking in his head I gave her 2 days to make her decision...and she has not even call to say what is her decision..Bharat gets very tension, he dials Ramya's mobile...she does not answer..he gets more pissed off and starts walking to and fro...and he tries again...

Ramya seeing her mobile ringing, its from Bharat, but she does not answer....Bharat gets extremely pissed off, he then calls the office manager Satish in, and tells him that Ramya is no longer employed here. Settle all her accounts and pay. And if she comes in today, tell her I have hired another person to replace her...Satish says to Bharat she has only been away for 2 days lets wait another day...Bharat disagrees and instructed Satish to do as he has been told. Satish..thinking out loud...hmmm adhukule..Bharat has became disenchanted of Ramya...let me see if I have any chance with her...he smiles slyly...

In Joseph's residence,is all shock and tears. Maria is still in crying at being duped by Raman, her brother the Padre Thomas, is lost for words... Father Thomas ask his parents why they did not tell him that Maria had been living like a husband and wife with Raman. Joseph says how could I tell you as you are leading a holy life whereas your sister isn't..so to make amends we then made a decision to marry off Maria to Raman, but we all least expected that Raman would deceive us like this.. Joseph blames his daughter for allowing Raman to make use of her and destroy their family name and pride..Joseph in a fit of anger starts to hit Maria, her brother and mother then stops him from hitting her further.

Father Thomas says that its no point to hit her. Her father says they have struggled to bring the children with discipline,love and care. And here your sister has destroyed our lives..and her live too. Father Thomas and Maria's mother tries to talk him out to sit down and speak to Raman and find out the truth and see if we can solve amicably this delicate situation. Joseph then calms down and hugs Maria in tears, and says why have she destroyed her own life.

Saraswathy, comes home with Gayathri, everybody starts asking them what happened and what's the outcome...Gayarthri sounding irritated, well you see me here back in this house understood the problem is still unsolvable and will not be solved.Raman then ask his mum did she speak to Gayathri's hubby amicably..Gayathri says her husband will not budge from his request....

Lakshmanan then walks in and ask the same question..how did everything go...Raman replies sarcastically that our BIL is still demanding 10 lakhs..and since you are very good at getting loans..why don't you help your sister..get 10 lakhs.. Lakshman then says to Raman getting such amount is not an issue as long as you Raman willing to be a guarantor for it...Raman says that is impossible..so Lakshman chides him..so you know that is an impossible task so why speak about it..Saraswathy interrupts them and said yes that is impossible...why argue among yourself, this is your sister's life...tell how can we resolve this problem.

Gayathri, then stops all of them..and says I came here because this is my mother's house, and I came here depending on you and not my brothers. In this age when things are rosy, all siblings will share the joys, but the moment when things aren't rosy and you need a hand, everybody is then on their own and not willing to share the pain or extend a helping hand even if its their own siblings. I am not depending on you brothers and all of you'll know I am educated and I get a job and support myself so from now on, do not interfere in my family life.

The selfish Raman then says to his mum since your daughter told us not to interfere in her family life we shall not interfere and he walks away. Whereas the understanding Lakshman tells his mum not to further probe this matter with Gayathri as it will only hurt her more and also tells his mum , he will try his best to see how he can help her...Saraswathy then cries and says why all my children are not in peace, Lakshman calms her down and says everybody is just living as what is fated of them...it will get better as time passes by...

Ramya comes into her office cabin and dials Bharat's extension, just then Satish walks in and she ask him the whereabouts of Bharat. He tells her Bharat is out for an appointment and then hands her , her termination letter...He tells her Bharat has said her employment has been terminated and they have settled all her account with her and being hiring someone else to replace. Ramya in shock then ask Satish are you behind this termination, and he says hey no I have no power to terminate you..its Bharat's instruction to have you terminated. He then says, he is willing to find her another job if she wants...or p if she doesn't want to work anymore, he will marry her then..She warns him "Serappoo pinjarum.." and walks away.

She arrives at Bharat's house and calls out his name angrily outside his house..He walks down the stairs calmly and smilingly..seeing her stand outside his doorsteps... she walks in staring at him...Bharat welcomes her in and then looks at her says you look angry..She replies enna pather oru kindalah theriyerdher...he said not I was not kindaling you...

Bharat then says 2 days ago, I open my heart and spoke to you, but thereafter you did not call back nor answered my calls. I thought you must have been disturbed by what I said to you, and you did not know how to face me thereafter...so thats when I thought you must be avoiding my phone calls and then I came to a conclusion that since you disagree with what I asked of you and you will definitly will not return to work and so I told Satish to terminate your service..and settle your account..

Ramya says in frustration a, " So that is how much you know, about me, we do not merely have an employer and employee relationship, but it has gone beyond to the point where we shared our family problems with each other.. ( She turns her back to him and he starts to smile slyly to the fact she has fallen into his trap)

She ask him why did you ask me to marry you, tell me tell me why,,is it because our friendship has cross into love,, why then did you give me the taj mahal, why is it because you wanted to symbolically display your love for me...why did you buy me the diamond necklace ; why is it because you want to show that I belong to you.. ( hey he just showed you the necklace dummy, but then he gave it to his first love Easwary your enemy and went beyond with her...wake and smell the sinister plan stupid girl..)

She tells him marriage for a girl is not a small matter...moreso ever marrying a married man secretly from the knowledge of my family is a not a simple matter...no..it needs more than 2days why not even 2 years is enough..is much more than that ..its difficult to make such a huge decision.. You ask me to tell you my decision in 2 days..you gave me 2 days only .. how are you are asking me to betray my parents to marry you, how difficult it is ..my decision on this matter has many repercussions on my life, my family and my future... you man will not understand my problem as a girl, as a daughter...

He calms her down by saying I understand your problems and she cuts him off and says what do you know about my problem, how can I give up my life and trust you and marry you , when you cannot even wait more than 2 days for me to make this crucial decision. Thanks alot...I trusted and threw my family for you, but here you are ready to forget me just because 2 days has lapsed..thats it ..its over between us...you do not love me as you say you do....

Bharat puts an emotional blackmail front and says without you in my life I am nothing, I panicked, I can't live without dialog ....( Hey Ramya why are you digging your own grave in the name of love????)

Todays scene continues from wit Bharat putting an emotional blackmail melodrama to convince Ramya that he thought Ramya will not reciprocate his love to her.She tears his termination letter and says is this how much you value me, when I have thrown my family for you ? How can I give my live and trust you..as you have shown that you cannot even wait for my reply. He said he loves her more than she loves him and the thought of losing her is too much..He apologise to her and says without her he is nothing...She ask him are you telling me the truth and can I believe you..He said yes please believe me he begs her. They look at each other.. She then agrees to marry him..

He is delighted , but she says nobody should not know this matter.Bharat then says ok no problem , we can keep this marriage a secret. From now on I am for you and you are for me and they start to embrace each other..( Makku manga Ramya...be careful dummy..before he starts making you crave for mangga.& .thupooran you away..make sure you legalize your marriage dumbell or else you tooot..tooot)

Jyothi his wife standing on the stairs watches both of them embracing each other and exchanging I love yous.. ( Yikes..I wonder this woman is really crazy or acting like one..cos she has a reactionless facial gesture)

Hema's grandma, runs up to Dr. Maha house and pours out all that she found out about between Maria and Raman. She tells Dr. Maha that Raman and Maria had a relationship for 4 years without marriage. Dr. Maha cannot believe she hears..and says he is a dishonest person not only he ruin Hema's life but also Maria's...Dr. Maha says now if you ask Raman , he will try to find some excuse to justify his action. Dr. Maha tells grandma, to wait till Raman gets back from Maria's house and then all of them sit down and confront him. Grandma wants Dr. Maha to come as well but Dr Maha declines and says its Ramans and Saraswathy's personal family problem its not appropriate for an outsider to be involved. She calms grandma to think and act carefully on this matter.

Dr. Maha then ask what if Raman insist in marrying Maria, grandma says after Maria's parents heard all of this how can they marry their daughter to him..?? I will not let that happen, as my granddaughter Hema's future is at stake here. Dr. Maha, says I think they will agree to have Maria married to Raman..Grandma panicks what happens to Hema then...Dr. Maha then says that every problem has its solution and beyond that there is always God to take care of it..Lets wait and see.

Driver the late Madhavan's ( Dr. Maha's driver) daughter cries at her abductors and ask them why have they kidnapped her and locked her in her room..she cries of her predicament.

Next scene between Ishwary and her step bro RK..he asks her why she did not go to office and she said she is upset. He tells her he knows and tells her to check her room once again perhaps she can find it. He persuades but she dissuades him, he forces her to..They go to the room and he beckons her to search her room carefully and thoroughly..she says its a waste of time...while she searches her cupboard, he in the pretext of searching for the necklace then slips the necklace behind her dressing table.

As she searches in the cupboard he pretends to find it and call his sister to come and see it. She is so grateful that he found it. She said she never thought of looking behind the dressing table. In her excitement she said she has to give RK something and she comes gives him some cash in hand. He refuses to take it and says she is treating him like an outsider by giving him money as he is family.He said he will do anything for her as long as he can see happiness in her face. She is delighted and says you are the best and forces him to take the money and spend on anything wishes..

In her excitement , Ishwary calls Bharat and informs him that she had found her missing necklace which he had given her. She tells him that RK found it for her behind the dressing table and said she never did thought of searching there when she lost it. Bharat ask her how it ended there and she said maybe she might have accidentally push it down without realising...and he says well good on you in finding it.even police could not find it but your bro could..Ish apologizes to for troubling him the other day..he start to pasam poolinjaraning.....with her ..( Kenny G background music)...

He says the missing jewellery found is a good sagunam for both of them...the 2 timing rascal then tells her we must meet up and celebrate this...and she said sure why not...and he then says just meeting only...and she goes coyly...tsk tsk....

Saraswathy meets up with Dr. Maha and updates her visit to her SIL house ( Gayathri's husband). Saraswathy says its because her daughters' husband demanding 10 lakhs...apart from that she says her SIL says her daughter cannot give him a child so he is demanding money instead..

Dr.Maha rubbishes that and tells Saraswathy there is more to it behind it..she suggests that Gayathri comes and see her and she will examine her and rule out whether Gayathri can conceive or not and from there she hopes to see if she can have heart to heart talk with her.. Dr. Maha & Saras also thinks there is more than that...and Saras panics and Dr. Maha says we cannot interfere unless they come to you and tell them what is actually bothering them..Saras agrees and says she will send her daughter to Dr. Maha... Thodarum...

Scene opens with Tamil pondering about his rachasee wife Poongkodi and her mothers demand for 25 lakhs..and then she will leave him for good. She said she will not entertain any bargain from him...He also recalls his discussion with his drinking buddies /neighbours who tells him in order for him to get such an amount he has to resort to selling drugs..He thinks to himself how can he do such an act just because of money, he has to resort to selling drugs after all he comes from a good family and on top of that his father is a top honest loyal police officer..how can he do such act??? He thinks of his mum...what shall I do?If I don't get that money, Poongkodi will never leave me in peace..but if I do as my friends says for the money , I can never face my parents and that will completely destroy my life....He thinks...then ..as longs as I get rid of Poongkodi, I will do as my friends says....only then I will be happy..Yes I will do it...

Gayathri comes to see Dr. Maha, as Saras had told her Dr. Maha wants to see Gayathiri..Gayathiri then ask her what topic shall they begin with is it my childlessness or the 10 lakhs demand from my husband. Dr. Maha says lets talk about the childlessness first. Dr. Maha asks her if she and her hubby had gone for check up and what is the outcome .Gayathiri tells her that the reason they are childless is because of her, Dr. Maha looks puzzled and ask her to explain clearly what she meant by that . She says because she did not willed to have children that is why they are childless..

Dr. Maha is still confused and beckons her to tell her more..Gayathri..then proceeds to open her heart and talk about her deep secret family problem. Gayathri wants somebody to know the actual truth about the situation. Dr. Maha assures her none of her secret will be out of the 4 walls they are in.
Gayathri almost in tears gets up and finds it hard to say it out , then she starts.

She says she is just like any other girl who wants to start a family, but she could not come to it because of her kevalamana husband. So she started using family planning method ( medication etc). She said her husband does not know about this so he started finding fault at her for being unable to conceive. Dr. Maha asks what she meant by kevalamana husband ..Gayathri, says its ok to have children with a perumaiyana husband but to have children with a kevalamana attitude purushan is maha sin for her and the unborn children. She breaksdown in tears..Dr. Maha calms her down, and says she is a very brave girl, she should calm and console herself. Gayathri says this is a very long kept secret and it hurts alot to tell you.

She begans to tell Dr. Maha about her husband , what a loving husband he was , who buys her anything she desires or ask for.( Flashbacks of her husband lavishing her with gifts like jewellery , sarees, diamonds etc..) She then says she gives thanks to GOD everyday for giving her such a gem of a husband..One day he comes home sad, she queries he him , and then he tells her all the gifts he lavished her with are all bought in credit ( loan)... He tells he is having money problem in settling all the loan..so he does not know what to do. She quickly says , he should take back all the jewellery and gifts and return it back and repay the loan. He refuses to take back the jewellery saying he gave it to her with love...but he says she can help him if she manase vecha...Gayathri looks puzzled and ask him how ??? To which he tells her to make a small adjustment..which he would explain to her later...
She tells Dr. Maha she did not understood what he meant by a small adjustment which he asked her to make for him..

One day at home he invites his drinking buddies and they are fully drunk and he calls Gayathri to come out and then . Then she was surprised by his drinking habits which he did not tell her about it before marriage. He said since she did not ask, he did not tell her. He forced her to give company to his drunken buddies..she so pissed off took a thoduperkathey, and wacked all those drunkards out of her house.. He stops her beating his friends and she almost hit him. The next day he apologises to her and begs her not to leave him and the house. After a while she agreed to forget and carry on living with him.

Then another day, came Gayathri's husband invited his office manager to the house and when he offered drinks to the guest, he asked for something cold like beer, Gayathri shocked by his requests and looks at her husband disapprovingly, he just ignores her and says he will go to the shop and get the beer. He left Gayathri with that manager, but poor Gayathri did not realise why her husband so hurriedly left her with a stranger in her house..and then that manager ask her where is the bedroom and she asked why are you asking ? And he said lets go in there and have a jolly good time..She took the thodapookathey and wacked him..and then her husband comes running to stop her from hitting the man.

Gayathri started scolding her husband and accused him of being accomplice with the manager to sell her off..He is a kevalamana purushan she thituran him, he denies everything and says he never expected his manager will behave such manner. Gayathri calls his bluff, he then says he does not care if Gayathri believes him or not as he is not responsible for his managers behaviour towards Gayathri. She is shocked by his attitude.

He then started harassing her for 10 lakhs...and finally she knows why he wants the money as he could not get her to make the small adjustments he wanted her to do for his buddies...Gayathri then made up her mind not to continue to live with her husband anymore. Dr. Maha is disgusted by what she heard about Gayathri hubby, and says he 3 grade fellow who has no respect for his wife. She said you have done the right thing and tells her not to tell anybody of this matter. She said to Gayathri, she will take care of her mum and always remember Gayathri has both her mother and her support regarding this matter. THODARUM.

Dr. Maha breaks the actually truth to Saraswathy regarding why her daughter dislike to live with her husband anymore.Saras cries but Dr. Maha offers her support , and advises her not annoy her daughter by asking her what actually happen in their marriage life. She advises Saras to be the pillar of strength for her daughter at all times and not to reveal this truth to any other family members. She tries to distracts Saras by suggesting they should all go out as a big family to the beach or shops to clear their mind of this problem..

Saraswathy sitting down an thinking of her poor daughter's predicament. Gayathri ask her mum, what is she thinking and crying about.She tries to console her mum and said its all fated and we can't do anything to change that....but just have to make the best out of a worst situation. Saraswathy spills the bean that Dr. Maha had told her the truth about Gayathri's actual problem and cries and ask why God is testing us like this. Gayathri says God did not test me but He actually opened my eyes to see the true color of my husband. Mother and daughter (RKO) and she ask her why you did not tell me the actual truth...but Gayathri says she cannot bring herself to tell her mum that her SIL is bad guy a man who said his marriage vow to upkeep and protect his wife sanctity instead asking her and forcing her to sell herself to other men. Gayathri says she is confident of herself that she can come up in her life and she said all that happen is for the better.

Scenes moves to the evil mandaravadee mother and her daughter ( Dr. Maha 's BIL's mother in law and wife Laila who is bent on taking revenge on Dr Maha's family). Dr. Maha's BIL sees them leaving their house and follows their auto in another auto..Then the auto stops in front of a house which belongs to Singari lady ( another pimp lady who is a rival to Sanguthayee and Sangupandi thug)..Dr. Maha's BIL watches and wonders where did his MIL disappeared as only his wife Laila got out of the auto and entered the house. He peeps from the front gate and watches Laila walking into the house. She is greeted by Singari Akka...who welcomes her. She admires Singari's house. Laila's hubby scales the walls to get into the house compound. He hears that Laila wants Singari to help her in her "job"..and he overhears this Singari is a pimp and is shocked to see his wife asking for job from Singari.

Singari's people spotted Laila's hubby and catches him and Laila is pissed seeing him, and Singari instruct her people to break his hands and legs and he pleads Laila to save him. Singari then ask who he is and Laila said he is her husband. Singari said if this fellow is disturbing her she can finish him off for good.Laila ask Singari to give him a job and Singari gave him a responsibility to take care of her girls...

OMG Next scene, we see Sangupandi kidnapped Hema ( he is taking revenge on Hema for slapping him). He kidnaps her when she was walking back home from the market. He forces her into the car and take her to an abandoned house and forces her into the house. THODARUM

DR. MAHA RESCUES HEMA

Hema is kidnapped and taken to an unknown house by Sangupandi and his 2 goondas. There he tries to disturb her, but she saves herself by running into the kitchen area and took a knife and threaten Sangupandi not to come close to her or else she will attack him or she will kill herself...Sangupandi tries to threaten her but he gives up and warns her she cannot escape from him..As he leaves the kitchen, she locks herself in the kitchen and cries of her fate. Sangupandi still fuming says he will get her...once he has done some water beating....so he sends 1 of the thugs to buy some liquor..while they sit and play cards.

Meanwhile, Hema's grandma anxiously wait for Hema's return from the market, and informs Hema's MIL & SIL ( Saraswathy & Gayathri) that Hema has not return from the market yet..Saras starts to worry, but Gayathri assures all of them that her Anni will return shortly and not to get panicky. Lakshmanan comes home and sees all of the ladies standing outside looking worried. They tell him that his Anni Hema has not return from the market and she is unusually late. Saras and grandma ask Lakshmanan to go and search for her in the market area. He goes on his bike and enquires everyone he knows in the market if they have seen Hema. All of them says they have not. Worried he returns back home.

Meanwhile, Gayathri goes to Dr. Maha's house to enquire if she or Amutha has seen Hema. They said they have not and Dr. Maha & her daughter then joins the Saras family member anxiously waiting for Lakshmanan return. He returns with negative news as nobody had seen her in the market.

Lakshmanan then gets a call and the caller tells him your family must be anxious as your SIL Hema is missing. Lakshmanan know who the caller is ( Sangupandi) and Sangupandi threatens him and blackmails him to come up with 3 laksham or else Sangupandi will destroy Hema's life by next day noon and they should not get the police involved. Lakshmanan is furious but he doesn't know what to do. Everybody is panicky and crying.

Dr, Maha tries her best to calm the situation, and then she makes a call to Suseela ( Sangupandi's wife who is living with her parent somewhere far) . Dr. Maha explains the situation to Suseela, and ask her to come immediately as only Suseela knows Sangupandi's secret hideouts in Chennai. Suseela agrees to live ASAP and she said she will arrive the next morning. Everybody stay up whole night waiting anxiously and praying that nothing should happen to Hema.

The irritating husband of Hema comes to know of the situation and starts to annoy everyone,by saying this what happens when we borrow money from thugs like Sangupandi, and who knows what will happen to Hema by tonight or what has already Sangupandi done to Hema. Seeing he has not even an ounce of care/concern or pity for Hema, Dr, Maha shuts his mouth and Saras chase him away from there. He walks away happily when the rest of them are worried sick of Hema.

Next morning, an auto arrives at Saras's house, its Suseela, Dr. Maha introduces her and tells the rest of the clan that she & Suseela will go and rescue Hema from Sangupandi. Lakshmanan offered to follow but Dr. Maha stops him as the situation will get to sticky if he was there. So they leave together and arrived at the place where Hema is kept locked.

Will they be able to rescue Hema ?? Thodarum
