Part 1
After preparing the breakfast kabir headed towards the kids room and opened the door saying " chalo bachcha log wake up mumma ki flight ka time ho..." He stopped mid track as the scene in front of him made him skip a heartbeat " aadi avni ... " he shouted seeing the bed empty and the room a complete mess ... He panicked finding the kids missing and started searching them in the washroom his bp dropped down more seeing washroom to be empty , all unwanted thoughts started to pop up in his mind when he heard some voice ... Following the source he reached the balcony of the room which he thought to be locked due to the curtains still covered ... Moving them aside he peeked from the already opened door and their comes another shock to take his breath away ...
At the extreme end the balcony adi stood on the chair over three - four pillows with the support of his hands-and-legs in a crawling position and avni standing on his back to reach the flower pot hanging above ...
Adi : jaldi kal moti... Aah kitna time lagayegi ...
Avni : bas tholi upal aul ...
And due to disbalance she slipped but before anything could have happened kabir came and held her in his embrace just on time ... And sat down with her in his lap ...
Kabir : baby aap theek ho ... Kahi chot to nahi lagi ... he asked being concerned and scared ...
Adi : dekha moti gil gayi naa ... Maine bola tha tu nai kal payegi , mujhe tele upal chadhna tha...
Avni : *crying* papa see ye muje moti bol raha h ...
A confused kabir sat there listening to their talks...
Kabir : adi say sorry ... Aur tum dono bahar kaise aaye ...
Adi : *to avni * solly ... And immediately showed her the tongue when kabir was not looking ...
Avni : tugged his T-shirt and was about to say something when he interrupted
Kabir : pehle ye baatao aap dono bahar kaise aaye ... He asked a bit stern this time..
Both : dool *door* se ...
Kabir : vo mujhe pata h *giving the obvious look *door to maine band kia tha *and suddenly realized that he only latched the door and forgot to apply the special lock they brought a year ago*
He was lost in this thoughts cursing his irresponsibility and praying that he reach on time and nothing happened , he came back to reality when adi and avni started climbing the chair again ...
Kabir : baby kya kar rahe ho lag jayegi ... Utro abhi and put them down and himself sat on the chair to avoid them repeating it again *so intelligent*
He tucked avni's fringes behind her hair when she pouted on his action "Chalo andar ab bahut hogaya we will get late bachcha mumma ko lene jaana h na ... Now lets go and get freshen up " saying so kabir stood up and moved towards the door thinking the kids to follow him , but when that didn't happen he turned around to find both with their heads hung low at their spot ...
Unable to find the reason he sighed and went toward them to know the reason ...
Kabir : what happened champ kuch chaiye aap ko ? Princess bolo mujhe kya hua ? Aap dono mumma ko miss kar rahe ho ?
*Both nodded firat in yes then in a no* phir ?? * Both looked up to the flowerpot hanging above* this made Kabir more confused ... And he looked towards them with a questioning look ...
Avni : papa vo birdy ka baby roo raha h ...
Kabir : what ... kaha? Kaunsi Birdy ? * Being confused*
Adi : papa galmlele me ( he tried to say gamla *flower pot* and pointed towards it ... )
Now understanding the situation kabir looked in the pot and found a baby Sparrow struck between the branches of the plant ... He tried and released it and soon it flew to the railings of the balcony and then flew away ...
The kids over joyed with the event started clapping and jumping in happiness ...
Both : yeyy papa is the best ...
This made kabir smile on his kids how small things make you the hero for your child ...
Kabir : ab chale andar ??
Both : yesh ...
He picked them up and took them inside ...
Adi : papa mumma ka aeloplane *aeroplane* terrace pal kyu nai ata ...
Avni : budhdhu phil hum airpolt *airport* kaise jayenge agal vo terrace pal agaya to ...
Adi : ale haan
And kabir chuckled
Adi and avni kabir's two cute monsters who are his life now the bestest gift nisha gave him ...
Though adi is only a minute and 35 seconds elder to avni but never fails to boss around her teasing for something or the other ... But also never fails to protect her ... Though nisha says both are like kabir but the truth is adi is nisha's xerox , only those hazel eyes came to kabir's share ... The same habbits and appetite ... Yes one of the thing kabir is jealous of nisha and adi and always complains pouting " kya yaar nisha ye to god ki partiality h ... tum dono kitna bhi khaa lo mote hi nai hote ... " No matter how much kabir liked and missed nisha during her pregnancy as she gained some weight and her already chubby cheeks became more chubby ... he loved to pinch her cheeks ,but soon after the delivery she is back to square one ... He many a times also tease her for the second pregnancy so that he can get his chubby nisha back ... But what he gets in return you all must be knowing *loads of pillows smacked on his head*
On the other hand avni is kabir's xerox but smart like her mom ... unlike adi and nisha she is the chubby little girl with long silky hairs and dove black eyes , her inherited character from her mom are those lips and her smile ... She's the real princess of the house her one tear and both the men turn the house upside down just for her one smile ... Yeah turning the house upside down is inherited character from kabir that the kids got ...
Soon all three were standing outside the airport waiting for nisha to arrive ...
As they saw nisha arriving both the kids ran towards her and hugged her tight ... And kabir's happiness had no bounds ... Why not he is free from his temporary job now ... just kidding ... only he knows how hard was for him to live without his wifey as it was the first time in past three years when they were apart ...
Nisha : how are my cuties mumma ne aapko itaa saara miss kia and she kissed them on their cheeks ... *She kneel down to their level*
Adi : mumma ye rose aapke liye ...
Avni : mumma ye chocolate aapke liye ...
Nisha : Aww thankyou and hugged them again ...
Feeling ignored kabir cleared his throat ... And making faces he said ...
Kabir : mumma ne bas apne dono babies ko hi miss kia ... Mujhe to koi pyaar hi nai karta ... * And looked here and there trying to ignore them *
Both the kids laughed seeing their father in complaining mode ...
Nisha smiled listening to him ... She stood up ,moved toward him and throwing her arms around his neck hugged him tight ... and soon feeling his wifey's warmth he too reciprocated the hug ...
"Maine apne sabse bade wale baby ko sabse jada miss kia " she whispered the sweet words near his ears ...
" I missed you too " he replied ...
And she immediately pecked his lips without the kids notice ... And kabira's thousand watt smile was back ...
" Chalo kids lets go home " kabir said and all of them headed towards their car ...
Nisha settled the kids in the back seat and said " princess and champ aap dono mere liye itne achche gifts laye but koi to kuch bhi nai laya ... " she complained settling down in the passenger seat audible enough to kabir ... As he was keeping her luggage ... kids laughed and got back to their talks
As he settled she saw a naughty glint in his eyes and before she could act he came forward towards her ,putting her seatbelt whispering sensuously near her ears " I'll give my gift tonight when we there is no one to disturb " kissed her cheeks immediately and got back to driving ... Leaving her all beetroot red and shocked ... she slightly hitting his arm asked
" achcha kabir kal koi pareshani to nahi hui na ?? Matlab sab achche se handle hogaya tha na?... Bachcho ne jada pareshan to nai kia na ?.. time se sogaye the na ..? aur khana time pe khaya tha?? Aur tu... ? "
Before she could continue he stopped the car and silenced her by keeping a finger on her lips ...
" Shhh ...bas bas nisha kitne sare questions ek saath... kaha se lati h itni energy, breakfast me kya khaa k ayi h yaar ... " He joked chuckling and adi avni joined him ... Making nisha frown ...
This time she asked again being a bit serious and concerned ... " Kabir kal sab sahi se hogaya tha na ... Bachcho ne jada pareshan to nai kia naa ... ?? " as she could sense kabir's facial expressions changing a bit but he soon covered it with his trademark smile and without making any eye contact with her said " aree haan baba sab theek se hogaya ... " and changing the topic asked
" so aaj lunch bahar kare ... Apne favorite spot par ?? What say babies ??" ... Both of them jumped in excitement and started telling what they'll have for lunch ...
Nisha thought of ignoring it and she also joining in their conversation ...
Soon they reached their favorite place and had their lunch enjoying a family time ...
After reaching home in the late afternoon she made the kids sleep for their afternoon nap it was not tough as they were already tiered...
Nisha was unpacking her luggage in her room when kabir came and rested his chin on her shoulder and snaked his arms on her waist from behind making her smile ... She kept the last piece of cloth in the laundry and took a deep breath leaning back on this chest closing her eyes and keeping her hands over his ...
They stood like this for some minutes feeling each other ... Kabir broke the silence mumbling "Nisha hum bhi thodi der rest karle , im so tiered and so are u ... Lets take a nap together ..." And was about to go loosening his grip on her when she caught his hand ...
"No " she said and make him tighten his grip again ...
Being confused kabir asked " No ? .. kyu abhi aur bhi kuch kaam reh gaya kya ? "
" Haan bahut jaruri kaam reh gaya " she turned in his grip and cupped his face with her hands ... If it was anyother day kabir would have not wasted any other minute and started showering his love to his wifey ... But today her eyes were gentle with concern yet Stern " Don't you need to tell me something kabir ? " She continued maintaining the eye contact, he knew she won't let him go and he too can't hide it anymore ... He nodded in a yes and soon picked up her in the bridal style taking her towards the bed .. soon they both settled with Nisha resting her head on his chest and he wrapped his hands around her ... she kept quiet and waited for him to continue taking a deep breath he said..
" Nisha mai bahut darr gaya tha ... "
