Ni- (tears brimming her eyes) Kabir, when I was 20 my mom died out of cancer but till her last moment she fought for me. I never came to know that she was suffering from cancer until the day she fainted. My father was a big businessman of India but he was an orthodox. According to him women were of no use except for having children and treating them. But my mother fought for me. I got selected through an exam for the college I am in right now. (crying) Kabir that day, when she was dying, she gave me a ticket to London. My mother gave me the ticket and asked me to become the world's most famous doctor and to prove my father wrong. My father started hating me since then. I ran away from India. A month ago I came to know that dad has left spies behind me. I could never run away from them. Today Kabir, those spies saw you with me. I tried hard to explain to dad that we are just friends but he did not listen to a word I spoke. Kabir he...

Kabir hugged her again as she cried. After a few minuted she spoke the incomplete sentence that made the tears in Kabir's eyes fall out.

Ni- Kabir has cut off all his ties with me. He has...

Kabir hugged her even more tightly this time to never let her go. He patted her back.

Ka- (broke the hug and cupped her face) Nisha! You are a brave girl. The strongest girl I have seen till today. You can't break so easily. The man never deserved you. Many people are there to be with you forever. Your Frankenstein won't leave you. Your best friend Sneha won't leave you. I... I won't leave you.

Nisha looked at his eyes lovingly and Kabir responded.

Ka- Trust me Nisha, I would never let you go.

Nisha just hugged him. The words of Kabir and Nisha's hug said many unsaid things that they were now known to. Yes, they both were in LOVE.

I cannot explain our entire moment when we realized our love but yes that moment was special for both of us.

Then one day I asked Kabir to come to the caf in a hurry, that too at almost midnight. Well there was certainly a reason I was having.

Nisha entered the caf and saw beautiful lights. She called out for Kabir. Just then music started. A spotlight fell on Kabir.

Ni- Meri dhadkan tujh se hai,
Meri saanse tujh se hai,
Tere liye lad jao duniya se mein
Itni aashiqui tujh se hai...

Just then Nisha came in front of him and another spotlight fell on her. Kabir was shocked on what was happening. He thought that something might have happened to her but here she is saying shayris and singing.

Aankhein coffee peetey peetey mil rahi hain
Aankhein pyaar ke jhonkon se hil rahi hain
Aankhein pyaar ke dhaagon se sil rahi hain

A projector started projecting some pictures of theirs. Kabir looked at those. They were literally adorable. And the best one was with them having coffee and chit-chatting.

Ye jo ho raha hai, accha lag raha hai
Nasha hai ye pehle pyaar ka (pehle pyaar ka..)

She went near him and sang this line.

Asar ye naya hai, nazar ne kahaa hai
Palkon pe beth ja tu aa ke
Chaahe meri neend le ja chura ke

She came close to his ears and sang these lines and went away smiling.

Kabir understood what she meant. He could not control his happiness. He was on cloud nine as if.

Saansein achaanak uchhalne lagi hain
Nazrein ye baatein ukalne lagi hain
Saansein achaanak uchhalne lagi
Nazrein ye baatein ukalne lagi
Dilchaspi khud pe yun din par din mujhpe badhne lagi hai

Then Nisha went in the center and started dancing along with some of her friends.

Ye jo ho raha hai
Accha lag raha hai
Nasha hai ye pehle pyaar ka (pehle pyaar ka..)
Asar ye naya hai, nazar ne kahaa hai

Kabir also finally confessed his love singing the song.

Palkon pe beth ja tu aa ke
Chaahe meri neend le ja chura ke

Nisha went near him finally and sat on her knees.

Aankhein coffee peete peete mil rahi hain
(mil rahi hain..)
Aankhein pyar ke jhonkon se hil rahi hain
(hil rahi hain..)

She took out a box of ring and forwarded it to Kabir. He opened the box and saw a toffee.

Ni- (mischeviously) Har acchi shuruvat ek toffee aur hamare liye ek coffee (a friend of hers brought a mug of coffee with a smiley) se honi chahiye.

Ka- (questioningly) Aur ring?

Nisha took out the ring from her pocket.

Ni- Woh yeh rahi.

Ka- Ab propose bhi kar.

Ni- (fighting) Oh Hello! Ek toh tera kaam main kar rahi hoon aur upar se tu keh raha hai propose kar! Hatt!

Kabir turned around. He was about to leave when he heard a tune. The DDLJ tune, the tune from his favorite movie of his favorite actor (BOLLYWOOD).

Ni- Teri aankhon ki namkeen mastiyan
Teri hansi ki beparwaah gustakhiyaan
Teri zulfon ki leharaati angdaiyaan
Nahi bhoolungi main
Jab tak hai jaan, jab tak hai jaan

Kabir turned and smiled when he saw her in the same pose as SRK's famous one.

Ka- Aage!

Ni- Hum Ek baar jeete hain

Ek baar marte hain aur pyaar...

Woh bhi ek hi baar karte

(funny tone) Unless you are a playboy.

The moment created by Nisha was spoiled and Kabir was leaving when Nisha said,

"Agar woh mujhse pyar karta hai toh woh zaroor paltega.

Toh Palat!

Kabir smiled but didn't turn.

Ni- (with full emotions) Palat!

Kabir was enjoying this attention.

Ni- (irritated) Arre palat na Phulkumaari urf Senorita!

Kabir turned with a shocked face. She called him Phulkumaari! Come on!

Ka- Phulkumaari?! Out of everything.

Nisha just giggled at his cute annoyed face. He went near her (like real near) and held her shoulder.

Ka- (passionate, husky tone) Ab propose nahi karegi?!

Ni- (annoyed) Oye! Abhi kya kiya maine?

Ka- (unknowingly)Mujhe kya pata.

Ni- (pointing her finger on his face) Mr. Kabir Mehta! You don't dare say that. Main kitna kar sakti thi maine kiya and if it is still not good enough for you then I can't help it.

She said so and was about to leave when Kabir held her hand. Nisha turned. He pulled her to him and she bumped on his chest.

Ka- (husky tone) Tune sabse important cheez hi nahi boli.

Nisha was confused but later understood.

Ni- Maine tujhe propose kara aur tune almost reject kar diya. Uske baad bhi main hi bolu.

She looked down. Kabir saw her and realized that tear drops fell from her face.

Ka- Hey!

He cupped her face with concern.

Ka- Iss mein bhi koi rota hai! Accha chal I am sorry. (wiped her tears) Aur mere saamne kya mere peeche bhi kabhi mat rona. Tere aansoon mujhe sabse zyada hurt karte hain samjhi.

Nisha nodded.

Ka- (passionate tone) Aur rahi baat bolne ki toh main hi bol deta hoon. I... Love... You... My Personal Shah Rukh Khan!

Nisha chuckled.

Ka- Ab tu bol.

She didn't say anything and just hugged him tight. Kabir hugged her back.

Ni- (still hugging) Kya yeh kaafi hai!

Ka- More than what I dream for. (smiled)

Ni- I love you Mr. Kabir Mehta.

They heard applauds and cheers. They broke the hug while Kabir still side hugged her. Frankenstein came. They bent down and took his blessings.

Ru- (proudly) I knew it from the very beginning.

Ka- Because you were one flirt and passionate lover too.

They all laughed. Just then the waiter brought a cake.

Kabir was confused.

Ni- happy Birthday my new special life long mate.

Kabir was over-whelmed.

Ka- I will never forget this day for my entire life. Thanks a lot Nisha. Thankyou. (hugged her tight)

They all cut the cake and never changing the prority Kabir gave the cake first to Rudra and then to Nisha. And the best part was that Nisha was proud of Kabir for doing so.

Nisha smiled and finally left. Nisha went for the interview. The interviewers were so impressed with her that they gave her the appointment letter then and there itself. Nisha was so happy and she couldn't wait to see her hubby's reactions. She went to the driver. She asked him to go the caf to surprise Kabir. Nisha sat and left for the caf.

The driver always saw their mails and gave it to either Nisha or Kabir.

Driver- Ma'am, here are the mails.

Nisha took them. They were mostly promotions ones. Nisha kept them aside and took out a magazine as the way back was a bit far. Just then her eyes fell on one of the mails. It was of some doctor. She immediately took it. It said- TO MR. KABIR MEHTA. Nisha didn't know what it would be. She thought that might eb some normal tests.

Ni- (monologue) But Kabir normal tests karwaane se pehle bhi mujhe batata hai. I should open it. After all I am his wife.

She opened it. She read it and was shocked.

Ni- Driver rush to our home.

As soon as they reached she ran to the house. She was shocked when so many people were standing outside her house. She didn't pay any heed and opened the door with a spare key. And happened what she feared. She ran to him expecting for him to stay a minute for her to come. But something good happened. He was alive for some seconds it seemed. Frankenstein rushed inside.

Ka- (almost dying) Nisha...

Ni- (angrily) Kuch mat bolna... you are cheater... a bloody damn cheater... How could you Kabir? Mere khaatir maut ko gale laga liye. Ek baar bata diya hota. I would have left everything and would have taken you to the best doctor in the whole world.

Ka- That is what I didn't want Nisha... I... I knew... I knew I was dying... but Nisha... this is my dream you are living and you have to live it... you should ... get the best... Nisha... i... (in acute pain) Nisha... I... am glad that even when I am dying you are with me...I... love you... and I will be there with you till the end... I promise.

He closed his eyes finally and gave out his breath with a bright smile on his face.

Ni- (shaking him) No Kabir... nothing will happen to you. Please wake up Kabir. Wake up!

She started crying. Frankenstein was crying even harder.

It is the worst moment to live when you see the one you love dying in front of you and you cannot do anything to save them. He had Leukemia. He came to know about it some 7 days ago. He returned one day and was really upset. I think that was the day. He knew that I have a life changer interview so gave up his life. (guilt) He didn't sleep nicely, he didn't eat nicely but I was so engrossed in my work that I forgot everything. (anger towards herself) I lived with him, I claimed to know him but I couldn't even understand anything. He never told me about the disease or the test so that I do not get distracted because he knew that he couldn't have been saved. He wanted me to be happy. (wiped her tears) Now I live to complete his dream. And I know he might be here somewhere watching us so I can't cry. I need to tell him that I am brave because that is what he wanted from me. (everyone wiped their tears)

You know he told me "WORKING HARD IT IMPORTANT BUT THERE IS SOMETHING EVEN MORE IMPORTANT... BELIEVING IN YOU."

Afterall (with a smile) it is our choices who show what we truly are far more than our abilities. And I choose to give justice to his lie. I choose to do what I want because that is what he wanted.

You know when I will grow old and would be sitting in my armchair watching our wedding video or reviewing our wedding album or some other photos and someone comes to me and asked "AFTER ALL THIS TIME?" I would just say "ALWAYS!!!"

Frankenstein stood up and started clapping and so did others.

Ni- (timidly) I love you... MR. Kabir Mehta. Aur agli baar gents ka rumall phenk kar ladki ko dost mat banana. Main toh kuch nahi boli lekin agli baar nahi chodungi. (chuckled)

That day two parents lost their son, a sister lost her brother, a grandfather and a friend lost his grandson and a friend, wife and support lost her life, her love, her Kabir. Kabir's parents asked forgiveness from Frankenstein and because of Nisha he forgave them.

She started moving. Not to her seat but in the lawn he loved the most and nobody stopped her because they knew she needed time.

NIBIR TS VM

This Vm shows Nisha walk through the lawn and how she was remembering him. He was always there with her even when he was not. This VM would show some part of their journey and their special moments.

I'm not saying your story but I don't like sad stories in which at last hero or heroine will die 😭

I seriously don't like it's end...

Although it was at starting but whlie reading whole parts I was wishing that kabir shouldn't die, please someone else. Whole time I don't want to acknowledge it 😭

But it was great work 😃

First of all DOSTI MEIN NO SORRY NO THANKYOU😉. And I am really glad you expressed your emotions truly.

End waise toh mujhe bhi ending pasand nahi aayi but actually na hamaare ek close relative ke yahaan bhi aisa hi kuch scene hua hai in the recent past so just trying to express everything i felt during this time. 😊

But i am sure none of us want Kabir to die so will make sure to repent the feeling of losing Kabir through my on going story.

I am really glad you liked it. Actually at first I thought to kill Frankenstein but Nisha had already met him when i explained the first meeting. It went all different.

Aur main gende ki khaal ki bani hoon mujhe kisi baat ka burar nahi lagta hai. 😉

The end was painful but still it had its beauty ... 😊 u wrote it in such a way that i could actually feel the emotions...

All the emotions i was hiding couldn't hide anymore after watching the vm 👏
