Chapter 2:
Disgrace Nisha started gathering all her personal belongings and put them all in a suitcase. As she was walking to the front door, she paused to look at a photo of her and her dad.
' Would he miss me? of course not. He never cared for me in the first place. I'm just a disgrace to him anyways.'
She took the photo and ripped her face out of it, and put the photo back in it's frame. She smiled and a few tears welled up in her eyes again.
"now you will be happy dad. Ma toh muje pehle hi chod ke chali gayi aur uske baad aap toh muje kabhi pyar hi nahi de paye.
She ran out of the door with her suitcase in hand and ran to the place she always saw by the beach. The cliff.
Nisha didn't have to run so far to get to the cliff since she lived a few blocks away from the beach. Ironically, not many people were out. Nisha thought that this was absolutely fine. She didn't want anybody to stop her from committing suicide. She knew that they'd be too late to stop her anyways.
It was a long run to the cliff, but she finally got to the edge of it. She smiled and threw her suitcase out into the ocean.
"So this will be the cure... I'm sure nobody would mind."
A tear falls from her eye and Nisha takes a step forward and is about to jump, but someone grabs her by the waist and brings her away from the edge. Nisha squirms and tries to get out of the person's grip.
"Hey! Choro muje!!"
She then looks at the person holding her captive and it's a boy around her age.
"Excuse me, but Kya tum abhi abhi is cliff se kud ne wali thi?" The boy asks
"Nahi Nahi, main to bas aise hi neeche dekh rahi thi. Nisha replies mockingly.
When she received a glare from the other side... She replies
"It's none of your business".
Nisha stands up to run back to the edge of the cliff, but the boy grabs her hand.
"But I shouldn't be witnessing someone committing suicide, should I?"
"I already told you it's none of your business!!!"
Nisha struggles to get out of his grip but fails immensely.
"Can you please tell me what's wrong?"
Nisha just groans and continues to try and release herself from his grip.
"Please... instead of committing suicide... I can help you!"
Nisha looks in his eyes and sees that he is serious. She saw that he truly wanted to help her. It has something she hadn't seen... or more like something she hadn't seen in a long time. But when was that? Nisha thinks deeply, but can't seem to remember when. She then looks down and stops resisting.
"Alright... But I doubt that you will actually be able to help me".
The boy gives a short chuckle
"Well, I'll do the best I can"!
