Chapter 1 - Milenge Milenge (b)

Kabir woke up when he heard Saurav's phone ring for almost the 50th time.

"Saurav you have a call... Phone utha..."

Saurav just moved a bit and slept again.

"Arey yaar.. Mujhe hi uthana padega..."

He reaches for the phone and sees the caller ID... "Unknown number hai... Kiska ho sakta hai?"

"Hello?"

"Hello Jiju!" A girl spoke on the other side.

The voice made Kabir brush off all the sleepiness he was feeling. It was a sweet as well as curtly voice. Another "Hello" from her made him come back to senses...
"Hey!"

"Saurav Jiju?"

"Saurav is sleeping... May I know who is it..." Kabir asked as politely he could but received no answer... He checked the phone and found its battery dead.

Kabir went all hyper... He wanted to talk to the girl... He did not know why but he felt some connection with her... He shook Saurav vigorously but he did not even open his eyes once.
Raj and Isha were travelling in the other class as they could not get tickets in the same one.

"Yaar... Kaise phone karu usse main firse... Wait a minute... Why am I even thinking of talking to a girl with such interest... Focus Kabira..."

Nisha was more than frustrated by now. Is it a way to treat people? Nisha had called so many times already till someone finally bothered to pick up and when they did the guy on the other side just cut it in the middle of the conversation. Nisha had tried the number for the gazillionth time and heard the same "The number you are trying to call is currently switch off" in form of answer.

"Is their flight late or something..." Nisha tried thinking of a way to find out. Maybe I can check where they have the information desk here. She started looking for anything that could help her understand where her guests were.

Kabir looked around the flight. There was no sign of any air hostess or stewards. Finally he spotted an air hostess coming put from the Economy Class.

"Excuse me!" Kabir called out to her..

"Yes sir... How may I help you?" The lady was very polite.

"Actually I think the flight is late... Isn't it?"

"It is sir... I guess you missed the announcement... Due to bad weather the flight will be late by almost 2 hours"

"Oh... I guess I slept through the announcement..." Kabir smiled sheepishly...

The air-hostess smiled back at him and left but Kabir was sure he heard her giggle.

"Uh... Guess Saurav has to waiit to meet his In-Laws.."

Finally after wandering around for a few minutes Nisha found the information desk.

"Excuse me... Umm... Can I know about the flight from Mumbai to Jaipur?"

"Yes Ma'am... The flight is delayed by 2 hours due to some bad weather conditions... We're sorry for the inconvenience caused by us..."

"It's ok... I ain't very excited to meet the guests..."

Nisha decided to get back in the car... Dolly Di had packed some snacks though they weren't for her but what can she do? The guests' mistake...

She munched some snacks and did not know when she drifted back to sleep...

Okie... So I am done with Chap 1 totally... Now I'll update the Chapter 2 where NiBir will finally meet... So isn't it going to be a Dussehra Special update? Wait for it... Sabr ka fal NiBir hota hai... 🤣 (Me and my not-so-funny jokes 😆 )

Anyways do tell how the update was...
