Hie guys.. Here is the next update... I hope I don't mess with things now... I have a lot of ideas for this story just I am having a little bit difficulty writing them down (or typing or whatever...)
I just want to make sure I don't disappoint anyone so please bear with a little irregular updates 😊... Now enjoy the update... We'll discuss it later some day 😆

Chapter 3 - Jab Koi Baat Bigad Jaye... Tum Dena Saath Mera Humnava

What are you doing Kabir? I don't want to look at her and yet my face turns every time. What will she be thinking about you? She's catching me staring at her every time. I don't want to look at her but I don't know what's happening. Concentrate Kabire. Idea... I should take a nap. It will be much better.

"Nishu Bua... Mujhe bhuk lagi hai..." Shrey shouted waking up all the peacefully sleeping souls.

"Shrey abhi sirf one and a half hour hi toh hai... Wait kar lo na..." Nisha tried avoiding this. She had eaten the snacks given by Dolly Di. Yes some of it was left but she couldn't offer it to the guests after all.

"Haan Nishu waise Dolly ne toh mujhe kaha tha ki woh tere saath kuch khaane ko bhejegi. Nahi bheja usne?" Umesh knew Dolly's warm nature...

"Nahi... Woh Dolly Di busy thi..." Nisha prayed that Umesh and Aman didn't sense something wrong.

"Mummy mujhe zoro ki bhuk lagi hai..." Shrey said. He sounded like he was going to cry.

"Accha thik hai Shrey... Main gaadi kisi acche restaurant ke yahan rokti hun... Sabko bhuk lagi hogi.." Nisha tried calming Shrey.

Dolly aise kaunse kaam main busy thi.
Umesh thought. Nisha agar ghar pe thi toh woh log arrangements bhi nahi kar rahe honge.

After a few minutes Nisha stopped the car in front of a restaurant. "Chalo sab utro... Kuch kha lete hai fir jaldi se ghar chale jaenge."

Everyone got down and went inside.
They sat down when Nisha realised that someone was missing "Hum 8 log thhe na? Ab 7 hi hai. Kaun gayab hai?"

"Kabir bhai nahi hain..." Isha pointed out.

"Haan woh toh gaadi main so raha hai. Nishu keys tere paas hai na. Jaa aur usse le aa. Usse bhi bhuk lagi hogi." Umesh told Nisha.

"Thik hai Bhaiya..." Nisha grumbled.

"Excuse me?" Nisha slightly shook Kabir to wake him up.

"Isha ki bacchi, sone de na..." Kabir said like a small kid making Nisha smile. She quickly frowned again.

"Main Isha nahi Nisha hun... Utho... Kuch khaana hai toh..." Nisha put her hand on his shoulder. Kabir grabbed it.
Nisha was stunned.

"Kabir mera haath..." Nisha hesitated.

Kabir turned to the other side making Nisha fall on him. Kabir woke up due to the sudden weight on himself. He saw Nisha on him was shocked for a split second but happiness took over and he was lost in her eyes. Suddenly music started playing -

Jab koi baat bigad jaye,
Jab koi mushkil pad jaye,
Tum dena saath mera,
Oh Humnava...

First Kabir thought it was background music that usually played when he shot for his short films. Reality dawned on him when Nisha tried to pull apart but fell on him again due to his tight grip on her hand. He quickly left and murmured a sorry.

"Yeh gaana kahan se baj raha hai?" Nisha asked as they were out of the car.

"Mera tha..." Kabir replied.

"Aisa ringtone?" Nisha tried suppressing her laughter.

"Meri aadat hai... Har contact profile ke liye wahi ringtone jo unka favourite gaana ho..." Kabir replied sheepishly to which Nisha burst out laughing. "Toh kya hua?" Kabir said arrogantly and picked up the phone "Yes... Haan mom we have reached... Yess... Isha is fine... No mom she is not here... Ok... Miss you too mom.. Bye.."
He went inside still talking and Nisha followed him.

Everyone had lunch. Shrey was eating an ice-cream and so everyone was waiting.

"Waise maine sunna ki meri saali mujhse milne ke liye bohot excited thi" Saurav smiled at Nisha.

"Kaunsi Saali?" Nisha was surprised.

"Tum aur kaun?" Saurav was confused at this question.

"Oh please... Mere dimaag par patthar nahi pade hain jo main aapse milne ke liye excited thi ya kabhi ho sakti hun..." Nisha glared.

"Nishu..." Umesh tried to stop Nisha from creating a scene but Saurav cut in..

"Toh mujhe lene kyu aayi?"

"Matlab koi kisi ko lene jae toh woh uss se milne ke liye excited hai?" Nisha didn't understand Saurav's logic.

"Not usually... But tumhe sharmaane ki zaroorat nahi hai... Mujhe pata hai kaise tumne Sukku ko blackmail kia ki woh tumhe hume lene aane de" Saurav gave her a cheeky smile.

Nisha was shocked "Yeh aapse kisne kaha?"

"Aur kaun bolega? Dolly ka phone aaye tha 2 din pehle... Usne kaha ki tumhe mujhse milne ki badi excitement hai aur isliye tum aa rahi ho Sukku ki jagah"

"2 din pehle?"

"Haan... Kyu?"

"Par Sukku toh aaj subah bimaar hua na?"

"Kya?"

"Kuch nahi..." Nisha looked at Umesh and Aman who exchanged nervous glances. "Aap logo ko kuch pata hai?"

"Hume... Hume kuch... Kuch bhi toh nahi pata hai Nishu.." Aman hesitated.

"Umesh bhaiya?"

"Haan Nishu hume kya pata? Hume kuch nahi pata?" Umesh quickly said.

Shrey finished his ice-cream and Umesh got up "Chale? Sab log wait kar rahe hoge..."

All of them sat in the car as before. Nisha was still feeling awkward around Kabir and so decided to lighten her mood. "Shrey? Toh batao aap yahan kyu aaye ho?"

"Bua main toh shaadi ke liye aaya hun!" Shrey beamed.

"Kiski shaadi?" Nisha asked.

"Aap ki" Shrey smiled.

Nisha was shocked while Umesh and Aman laughed "Yeh kisne kaha?"

"Papa ne kaha tha ki hum Bua ki shaadi ke liye jaa rahe hai.." Shrey seemed disappointed "Aapki shaadi nahi hai?"

"Arey Shrey pareshan mat ho... Tu bole toh hum teri Nishu Bua ki bhi shaadi kara lenge" Aman pulled Shrey's cheeks.

"Aman Bhabhi?" Nisha was shocked.

"Nishu... Kabhi toh tu bhi shaadi karegi na..."

Nisha didn't know why but her face turned to Kabir and she found him looking at her... Wait was he looking at her sadly? Or happily? Or was he blushing? Nisha quickly turned her face ahead.

The car went deadly quite after this.
Kabir and Nisha still caught themselves staring at each other.

Finally at around 9pm they finally stopped in front of a big 1-storey high building.

"Aap log niche uttar jao. Bags gaadi main rehne do aur Umesh Bhaiya aap inhe ghar le jao" Nisha smiled.

"Saurav inka ghar hai ya garage?" Kabir whispered in Saurav's ear as they got down.

"Kabir mera first reaction aisa hi tha... Tera second reaction dekhne layak hoga." Saurav giggled "Yeh inka garage hai." Saurav smiled and followed Umesh to a mini van.

"Yeh mini van kis liye?" Kabir was confused.

"Inke ghar main ghumne ke liye..." Saurav answered.

"Saurav stop joking... I am serious. Hum chal kar ja sakte hai.." Kabir frowned.

"Tu bas dekh.." Saurav showed a teethy smile.

All of them sat in the mini van. It was 15 minute ride to a big palace.

Kabir stood there with his mouth wide open. He suddenly felt a flash on his face. He turned and found Saurav clicking his pictures "Yeh kya kar raha hai?"he asked, annoyed.

"Maine kaha tha second reaction dekhne layak hoga!" Saurav smiled back.

"Whatever!!" Kabir said and resumed his house-watch.
