Chapter - 26

Viraj told everyone that he has to leave tomorrow morning for an important conference for one week. He came to meet kabir in his room. " kabir... hm kal ja rhe h ek hafte k lie..." he sounded a bit sad. " bhot imp conference h warna hm nhi jate" he said. " Koi baat nhi bade bhaiya see m fine..." kabir said.

" Hmmm par yha sabse jo baat karni thi... agar hm bhi hote to achha hota na" he said. " Bade bhaiya why are u feeling guilty... waise bhi let me first know them na... ur vo mjhe jaan le... kam se kam pitai to nhi hogi jab sab ko sach pta chalega..." he winked. Viraj laughed. " Thik hai kabir... par fir u have to promise ki hmare aane se pehle u won't disclose it" viraj said. " Thik h bade bhaiya " kabir said. " Aur aap jaldi thik ho jaenge ye bhi" he said. " Pakka promise... bade bhaiya aap itne achhe kyu ho" he asked. " Kyuki aap bhot achhe hai kabir" he said.

Viraj left the room and kabir lie down thinking about this strange relation of him and viraj. How strange it had been since they met. There was that instant connection between them. How easily he could click it up with viraj. How caring and understanding viraj had been. He had so much respect for him, the way he had reacted in that awkward situation when they have met for the first time. The way he introduced him to the cousins and now to rest of the gangwal family. The way he say his heart out in front of him make viraj an amazing person. His concern for him, when kabir was hospitalised. He simply adore this special bond of them. Destiny although somewhat late but had given him a big brother in real sense. He smiled at his thoughts and thanked god for all of this.

Kirti sneaked out from her room in the middle of the night and swiftly move towards kabir's room. She saw them sleeping but couldn't see their faces.

" Kya karu... ye bhi na gadha h kal chla jaega par mere baare to sochega hi nhi. Kaise jagau ise" she thought. She sneaked in their room and try to recognise ashish. " Kya yaar... kya karu chhodo kismat hi kharab h" she sighed and was about to turn when someone held her hand. She was ready to scream when a hand covered her mouth. " Khud hi mujh se milne aae h ur khud hi marwane k kaam kar rhi h" ashu said. " Offo tm ho... mai to darr hi gyi thi... " she said. " tm himmat karke yha tk aa sakti ho... to fir wapas kyu ja rhi thi.." he asked. " Tumhe kya tm so jao ghode bech k... mai hi paagal hu.." she said angrily. " Are yaar... m here na don't be sad " he turned her and hugged her tight. She gasped at his intensity.

" Are yaar... tm dno ko romance karna h to bahar jao na... mjh bechare bimaar aadmi p kyu atyachaar kar rhe ho " kabir said switching on the night lamp.

Kirti pushed ashish and ran outside.

" kabir k bachhe..." ashu hit him with the pillow and went outside too. Kabir laughed and went to sleep again.

Next morning viraj and ashish took their leave from the family and started for their journey. Kabir was still in his room when laxmi came to him. " Kabir beta... here drink this milk it is good for you"

Kabir looked at her and then at the milk. " Aunty... pta h m very strong... u know mai to itna strong hu ki 100 kg weight utha lu... 10-12 gundo se akele lad jau.." he was talking nonstop. Laxmi was getting confused " par beta dhudh to..." she was cut off by kabir " vo hi to aunty... itne strong bande ko dudh ki kya jarurat h" he made a cute puppy face. Laxmi laughed at his lame excuse and handed him the glass. " Jarurat h isilie to lai hu... now drink it fast that too in front of me" she said. Kabir made faces but at last drank it. Laxmi laughed again as he made a pouting face.

" Kabir u r such a kiddo" she said ruffling his hair, he too laughed with her.

The week was passing by and kabir had made his place in every one's heart specially of gangwal ladies. Dadi and vimla adore him like their own child. Laxmi had got a great son in him whose understanding amazed her. Rupan taiji was impressed by his sense of fashion and style . The male elders were too happy with him around. Ramesh and kabir has developed a special bond of father and son, also they play a lot of pranks on nisha and laxmi together. Mohan and viren were happy with him too as he was always there with his stupid jokes to make the atmosphere light. Only one person kabir fears the most was dadaji. He didn't talked to kabir much except for asking about his health. Kabir tried to bridge this gap but dadaji never responded. It had been four days since he was here, he was trying hard to tell them the truth but was tense. He was standing at the terrace in the middle of the night when someone placed his hand on his shoulder. He turned and saw ramesh smiling at him. " Kisi baat ko lke pareshan h kabir.." he asked. " Kuch nhi uncle... bus yu hi" he said. " Kuch kehna h to keh sakta h kabir" he said assuring him. Kabir looked at him. " Uncle m feeling like m betraying everyone here... they had given me so much of luv and made me a part of their life but when they will come to know about me and nisha... what will they think... they would judge me for being mean. I don't want to hurt them specially laxmi maa" he said all gloomy. Ramesh smiled at him. " U aren't betraying anyone kabir... u r just making a good relationship with everyone... that too because u wanted to warna tm nisha ko lke ja sakte the kyuki she is viraj's wife now and viraj has understood the situation well... is parivar ki manjuri lene ki tmhe koi jarurat nhi thi. Par tm yha aae... itna sab kuch kia... kyuki that mattered to you beta and thats enough... if they know you they will understand it" ramesh said. " Sach pa... sorry uncle" kabir said in a small voice. " U can call me papa kabir... " he said smiling at his innocence.

" Sachhi..." kabir asked delighted and hugged ramesh as he nodded a yes. He was beyond happy today because he got what he yearned for years I.e. a love and understanding of a father.

Viraj has returned to his hotel after conference. Suddenly his phone rang. " Hello kiara... kaisi hai aap" viraj asked happily. " thik hai... aapko bhot miss kar rhe h viraj..." she said. " Hm bhi kaira... aap jaldi se aa jaie apna kaam katam karke..." viraj said. " Ha... almost finished now... bus last touch baki h" kaira said. " Sach... aap btaie aapka kaam kab katam ho jaega hm khud aaenge aapko lene... " viraj was very happy. " Do teen din lgenge viraj... hm aapko bta denge par aap kabir aur nisha ko mat btaega hm unhe surprise karenge" she said excitedly. " Thik h kaira... hm nhi btaenge par aap jaldi aa jae... hm sath m dadaji se baat karenge" he said " shayad isse unhe hm sab ka point of view samajh ne me aasani ho" he said expectedly. " Don't worry viraj... everything will be fine" she said.

Nisha was in her balcony looking at the sky. She was a bit sad. Although kabir was in front of her eyes but still she can't meet him or talk to him like she wanted. She missed being in his arms. Missed his soothing touch which had healed her every broken piece. She was longing to meet him and she can see the same in his eyes too. She can see how eager he was to talk to her. She had felt helpless whenever he tended his wounds. His every sigh of pain cause a stab in her heart. She was hell irritated and angry at this helplessness of hers. She wanted to go to him hug him tight... wanted to tend his wounds take care of him but alas she can't.

" Kyu pareshan hai..." dolly asked who had came to meet her and kabir. " mai kha pareshan hu di... thik hu ekdum" she said. " Hmmm " she can clearly see her lie and she know the reason because kabir's condition is nothing better than hers. " Kuch to karna hi padega..." dolly thought to herself and left for her room. Dolly called the gang for an urgent meeting all were present except nibir. " Kya hua dolly di... itti raat ko kyu bulaya hai " sukku asked. " Ur nishu bro to hai hi nhi mai bula k lati hu" jwalu said. " Are ruk usi k baare m baat karni hai" dolly said. And she told them the matter. " ab btao in do becharo ko kaise milaye" she asked. " Hmmm... kuch to sochna padega" umesh said. " Ek kaam ho sakta h" saurav said and told them his plan. " Wah yaar saurabh tu to chhaa gya yaar... " umesh said. " Ok then final ab chalo apne apne kaam p lg jao" sukku said and they disperse.

Lo first hone ke chakkar mein main last ho gayi 😆😆😆
