*Epilogue*

She placed her handbag on the bed and lied down. Practicing for the upcoming National Level Archery tournament is hard and it becomes more difficult when you aren't able to concentrate and you are irritated because your boyfriend forgot your anniversary. She heard the door knock so went and opened it.

Her 5 month pregnant Bhabhi stood there with a big smile plastered on her face. Her left hand was on the baby bump and her face did look tired. She was holding a box

Nisha- (irritated) Aman, yaar, kitni baar kaha hai, kuch chahiye hai toh mujhe neeche bulaya kar, I'll come down... Doctor ne tujhe upar-neeche kar ne se mana kiya hai na?

Aman- (rolled her eyes) Stop behaving like your brother yaar...

Nisha- Pehle toh, andar aa... Aur yeh 32-volt waali smile kis liye?

Aman- (happily) Tujhe pata hai, aaj mere best friend ki engagement hai...

Nisha- (confused) Toh?

Aman- Toh kya? Tujhe jaana hai?

Nisha- Mere chehre pe bewakoof likha hai? It's an engagement ceremony yaar, and you know I hate parties...

Aman- (sad) Thikh hai... Main toh nahi jaa sakti isiliye Muje laga tu jaayegi... par... (she burst out crying)

Nisha- (irritated) Mood swings... (To Aman) Ok,ok... Stop crying, I'll go... Thikh Hai?

Aman smiled and nodded happily.

Aman-Waise tere chehre pe 12 kyun baje hai?

Nisha- (annoyed) Tu bhi bhool gayi?

Aman- (confused) What?

Nisha- (annoyed) It's mine and Kabir's 5^th anniversary Aman...

Aman- (shocked) Oh shit! I forgot, woh subah se engagement ke baare mein soch kar itni excited thi ki...(apologizing) I am sorry...

Nisha- (sad) Tumahri chodo, Kabir ko hi yaad nahi hai... (changing the toipc)Anyways, main tayyaar hoti hoon... Abhi 7 baje, I have to reach the engagement venue by 8 at least.

Aman- (holding her hand) ruk. Ye le... (she gave her the box) Aaj ki engagement mein pehen lena...

Nisha was about to say no, but Aman's mood swings were unbearable so she shut her mouth, took the box and went to change.

After 15 minutes, the washroom door opened. Kirti whistled, Aman gasped in shock and Dolly smiled in appreciation.

Nisha-(confused) Kaisi lag rahi hoon?

Aman- (amazed)Superb...

Kirti- (smiling) stunningly beautiful...

Dolly- Gorgeous... Chal tera make-up karte hai...

Nisha-(irritated)Ek minute... meri shaadi hai kya? I am not applying makeup... I am telling you...

Kirti- (baby faces)At least Light make up...

Nisha-(annoyed) Fine.

Black Eye liner under her eyes, pink lip gloss for her lips, and blush for cheeks completed and complimented her white evening gown. Kirti let her straight hair on her shoulder. Dolly gave her a white bracelet that would match with her dress. Aman made her wear a pendant with a heart locket.

The 3 girls moved away, and Nisha looked at her reflection in the mirror. She smiled. The jhalli Nisha her Kabira loved was somewhere lost in this sophisticated look. She really wanted him to be with her and whisper in her ears, "You are looking beautiful" But... He was in New York... away from her...

Kirti- Nisha?

Nisha- (out of trance) haan?

Kirti- Ho gaya...

Nisha nodded and left the room. Kirti messaged, "Be ready, she's coming. And yaa, your senses will be off if you see her. She is looking awesome. Maana padega, you do have a Good choice, the dress is amazing J."

The car was waiting near the entrance. She sat in it and it sped off. Nisha looked out of the window. Her eyes followed the buildings that the car was leaving behind. She received a message from her friend wishing her luck for the tournament. She looked at her wallpaper. It was their group picture after they celebrated Nisha and Sukku's win at the sports meet.

These 5 years were just perfect. Umesh owned a 5 star restaurant and had married Aman 2 years ago. Sukku was an International Tennis player and was dating Tanya, his college mate. Dolly and Sumeet were engaged 4 months ago. Dolly was a famous singer, her life-time dream came true. Kirti was a model and Bollywood's successful actress. Saurav was a business tycoon. Viraj was in Rajasthan and owner of a shooting academy.

Her eyes fell on the love of her life's picture. She smiled. Kabir was in New-York since the last 5 years. It was his last year in New York Dance Academy. He was New York's successful choreographer. This long distance didn't spoil their relationship, infact the yearning for each other made it more perfect.

The driver informed her that they had reached. She got down. The beach was deserted, except for a wooden platform. The platform was decorated with candles and A big heart of red rose petals was made on it. In the center of the heart, another heart was made of pink rose petals.

Nisha's heart thudded in her ribcages as it felt him. She looked around and finally felt a pair of palms covering her eyes. She smiled and placed her hands on them and removed them. She turned. It was him!

Nisha- (happily shocked) Kabir?

She hugged him tight. After what felt eternity, she broke the hug. Kabir placed a kiss on her forehead. And hugged her again.

Kabir- (smiling) Happy anniversary Jaan.

Nisha couldn't believe her eyes and ears. Her Kabir was here. He didn't forget the anniversary, infact he made it more beautiful. Kabir led her to the pink heart, knelt down, took her right hand in is.

Kabir- Nisha, You know when I looked at you for the first time, my heartfelt a strong connection towards you. When I confessed my feelings, I felt as if I never knew true happiness until that day... You are the best thing that has happened to me... because you are The Angel of My life... Nisha, your name is like a song sung by the angels in the heaven... Baby I love you with my heart... and you know that you are my heart and a normal human cannot live without his heart... I too cannot live without my heart... my Nisha... (He handed her bunch of red roses) The roses are yours, no doubt... but also... this ring... (He took out a ring from his jeans pocket) Today I want to tell you that I am incomplete without you... My heart is incomplete without you because...I LOVE YOU... Nisha, I want to spend my today, tomorrow, the next year and the next 2000 lives with you... Will you be my better half and permit me to love you always?

Nisha's eyes were filled with tears of happiness. She nodded in a yes and he slipped the ring in her ring finger. He stood up and kissed her forehead. He then gave her a hug. A hug which was filled with love, care, yearning and promises.

Nisha broke the hug when she heard the violins play. She looked around and saw 10 girls of age 10 playing a soft music. Then the area was filled with claps and her family members surrounded them. Ramesh, Laxmi and Kabir's mom had a content smile n their face. A smile which the parents smiled only to portray the happiness of seeing their children settled. Her cousins and friends were cheering for them.

Her mom came to her and handed her a box. She opened it confusingly and saw a ring.

Laxmi- Tere liye nahi hai... Mere damaad ke liye hai...

Nisha smiled and removed the ring from the box. She slid the ring in his finger.

The waves of the sea, the sand, the moon and the stars were eye witnesses to this beautiful start of a newly started love story.
