Sometimes I don't know whether to laugh or to weep for humanity. I guess many of you are unaware of the abuse actors face. Let's start off with something that's slightly off topic but you'll get the gist. Recently Deepika starred in a video endorsing women empowerment (yeah right!) she was criticised for being part of that video. She promotes women empowerment YET she stared in movies and danced to songs which objectified and exploited women (e.g New Year - there's a lyric which states that she's hot like a firecracker etc) and still continues to do so. She stars in beauty ads promoting products which are to make us "beautiful" yet she's known to advocate women empowerment. A lot of people and by a lot I mean hundreds possibly thousands have criticised her. Blogs and articles have been published stating how she's a hypocrite because she comes from an industry which exploits women yet she's fighting for women empowerment.
Now with Taher, I feel that this justification was needed. Maybe not for you guys but the fact that he too promotes women empowerment yet his character in NAUC is literally abusing a woman's privacy and causing distress. He too would have been criticised for being part of this track so he decided to make a smart move and justify himself.
We often forget that this industry is the livelihood of actors. It's their passion. Sometimes they're compelled to due things that go against their morals and teachings JUST to get a break. If not today, someday Taher will or might get questioned for even being part of this track.
Furthermore, a lot of fans have been asking him why doesn't he leave the show. Is he also concerned about the trps? Well he answered that for you as well but please remember that just because we don't agree with something, we can't always leave or ignore it. This is Taher's job, he's obviously committed to the job (and is binded by contract) therefore he has no say in it. He obviously does not agree with the track because it goes against his beliefs and plus there is no meaning behind the track in regards to women empowerment and the fact that the channel endorses the said issue but still allows this show to be broadcasted makes me wonder - does it really give a crap about women empowerment?
And loyalty? Sorry what loyalty? Loyalty is a two way street. Imagine your employer promised you a promotion but at the last minute he decided to give that to someone else, how would you feel? I'm pretty sure Taher is disappointed with the current issue and he obviously needs to vent his anger - the very same way we do after all he too is a human being. I guess most of you are concerned with your Niraj and Nibir fights and arguments but a lot of you fail to see that Taher has been let down by his team. He was the the lead actor and he dedicated not only his time but his energy into this serial and it's obvious he's upset by the fact that he's probably been replaced.
Remember this, not every single person wants to watch a typical serial. I was hooked onto this serial for a number of reasons and yes I did become Taher's fan after watching it. I won't comment on Niraj because I'm not really interested in that story (Or Nibir for a matter of fact). I'm more concerned with how production houses treat their actors.
