CHAPTER 17

"Hey honey!you're back already? How did everything go?"
my mom asked actually sounding really concerned.

"well...we talked and everything is under control.
we just came heare to ask you where we both
should stay." i told her.

Kabir was with me and didn't say anything.
I bet he didn't even care about all this right now.
I bet he was just sad that he couldn't be with
different girls every now & then.
well, he has to wait for two months now...

"Oh i know ! There's this place , your dad and I
both when we first got married . we were suppose
to go there every summer vacation but because of
our busy schedule , we never did ."

"I never knew we had a place like that!
so where is it and what exactly is it ?" I asked
her amused. I'm sure my mom is just saying
whatever that passes threw her head , right now .

"I'm serious , Nisha . It's actually 15 min away
from your Collage . Plus , it's close to a lake so
the view is amazing ." My mom was saying
cheerfully .

Kabir and I were looking at her playfully .

"Are you sure it's safe for us to live together ,
alone ?" Kabir asked her.

I pushed his shoulder with my elbow & made
him react.

"What was that for , you ... !" he started and
i cut him off saying : "Ah, ah ah ! no bad words
in the house , honey ! "

I laughed out loud after saying this and my
mom was looking at us , amused .

"What ?" we both asked atthe same time .

ok this is getting annoying . we both ask
the crucial questions atthe same time .

"You both look... cute" my mom said
after a moment of thinking and then chucked
a bit like a little girl .

Kabir and I looked at each other and made
disgusted face. we both separate each other
and stood a good 45 centimetres away from
each other .

"Okay mom , u r not helping ! " i said and
crossed my arms .

"Fine ! I say , u both go & live there . It isn't
far from Collage either and Kabir can drive .
I don't see what's the problem . In 3 days ,
cleaning should be done . In the day time
when u go to the college, I'll hire a maid to
come and clean the house once in a while."
my mom said seriously.

looks like my mom isn't joking ...

"Wait what ? I have to live alone ... with her ?"
Kabir said looking at me disgusted .

"Of course you do . you both r married , so
u both live alone ! " my mom said strictly & got up .

Kabir and I tried to change my mom's decision , but
it wasn't working . In exact 3 days i'll be living with
Kabir 24/7 .

Eventually , it was time to go home for Kabir.
he had to go & explain the situation to his parents .
Looks like Viraj doesn't need to go stay at his friends house .
