Lakshmi is confused as to whom she should support. She is very greatful to dadaji coz he has always supported and encouraged her. She is torn between her pyaar for ramesh and greatfulness for dadaji.

Lakshmi being grateful is right and correct. Ramesh too acknowledges Dadaji's help and hence doesn't complain much when it comes to questioning him. But Lakshmi should also see that her husband's respect isn't tarnished like this and she remains quiet. It would mean she accepts all the words Dadaji says about Ramesh.
