UPDATED (PART 14)
The camp ended the next day. Viraj and Nisha returned home. They brought back many memories with them.
For Nisha, life had changed once again. She was her old self now. She could breathe without hesitation, because there was no place for it in her heart other than love!
But Viraj had himself changed a bit, and that too for Nisha. He wanted to live carefree now, with her. He had new hopes. New believes.
The next few days passed peacefully. Nisha and Viraj both went to Lakshya Academy together and worked together. They stayed together all the time. It didnt even seem as if she was married. The days for beautiful.
It was time for Kabir to return. Vasundhara had decided that all of them should go and pick him up from the airport.
Nisha didnt want to go. She left as if she should not go to pick Kabir up, as he behaved quite rude with her everytime she called him.
Nisha- Maa? Main ghar me rehjaun? Matlab wo, Kabir itne dino ke baad ghar aa raha hain, toh main...
Vasundhara cut her off.
Maa- Nahi, hum sab chalenge. Viraj kaha hain beta?
Nisha- Wo Viraj bahar hain, gaari me. Unhone kaha hain ki aap ke taiyar hone ke baad jane ke liye.
Maa- Haa beta. Toh chale? Hum khare kyu hain?
Nisha even though she left uncomfortable, she didnt say a word and followed Vasundhara.
They sat in the car. Viraj drove the car, and Vasundhara sat on the seat next to him and Nisha chose the backseat. Throughout the journey, there was an awkward silence in the car.
They reached the airport and got off the car.
Vasundhara, Nisha and Viraj were waiting for Kabir to arrive.
Viraj- Unka flight delayed hain kya Maa?
Maa- Nahi beta, hona toh nahi chahiye.
Nisha- Umm, Maa, waha dekhiye.
Kabir was there. He was as bright as always. Smiling, exactly that charming smile, looking cute as usual.
Maa- Kabir. Aa gaya? Mera beta!
Kabir took Vasundhara blessing.
Kabir- Maa? Kaisi hain aap?
Maa- Theek hu beta!
Viraj- Kabir.
Viraj and Kabir always had an uncomfortable relation. Even though they stayed in the same house now, but it was only because of their mother. Viraj never got off the fact that Kabir and he didnt share the same father. Kabir got his mother, he didnt. Kabir also married Nisha, whereas Nisha loved him.
Kabir- Bhai.
Saying so Kabir hugged Viraj.
Viraj- Um, hey.
Viraj broke the hugged.
Kabir- Bhai, maine aapko miss kiya. Pehle kabhi bhi koi bara bhai nahi tha na. Aab hain. Accha lagta hain.
What could Viraj do? This Kabir came from the same place from which he came. They shared the same mother. They were two children of the same mother. Viraj did have a soft corner for Kabir.
Viraj- Humne bhi.
Kabir looked at Nisha. She just smiled at him.
Kabir- Hey.
Nisha- Hi. Kabi...
He cut her off.
Kabir- Bhai? Chale?
But this didnt go unnoticed by Viraj.
Viraj- Yeah. Chaliye.
They all returned home and went to their respective rooms.
Nisha decided to look at the menu for the night. So, she joined Kabir later in the room.
Nisha- Kabir.
Kabir- Yeah? Aaja kamre me! Kuch baat karni thi.
Nisha- Accha? Sach mein? Mujhe toh laga tha ke tu mujhse baat hi nahi karega.
Kabir looked at her in a weird manner.
Kabir- Uff, bakwas mat kar.
Nisha- Kya bolna hain?
Kabir- Nisha, maine kaha tha na? Ke ek surprise hain? Tere liye? Wo surprise nahi chahiye kya?
Nisha- Umm, haa? Konsa surprise? Wo...jiske baare me tune jaane se pehle kaha tha wo?
Kabir- Hmm?
Nisha- Haa? Kya hain surprise?
Kabir- Kal bataun? Sabke samne?
Nisha- Sabke samne? Par...okay.
Kabir- Chal khana khane.
They went down together.
Viraj and Vasundhara were already seated. Ram Singh served dinner in everyone's plate.
They all had dinner and after dinner, when Kabir and Vasundhara had gone their rooms, Viraj and Nisha were left alone.
Viraj- Aap aaj bohut busy thi.
Nisha- Hmm. Kabir wapas aa gaya hain.
Viraj- Hmm.
They were once again feeling awkward.
Nisha- Toh? Umm...aapko kuch kehna hain?
Viraj- Hume? Nahi toh.
Nisha- Oh.
Viraj- Aapko?
Nisha- Nahi. Mujhe toh kuch bhi nahi kehna hain.
Viraj- Toh phir, umm...goodnight?
Nisha- Huh? Umm, okay. Goodnight then.
Viraj turned to leave when Nisha called him again.
Nisha- Viraj mujhe daar lag raha hain. Mujhe Kabir se baat karni hogi.
Viraj turned around to see that Nisha had her hands on her face covering them. He knew she was scared.
Viraj- Nisha. Haath hataiye aapne chahre se.
Nisha removed her hands from her face.
Viraj- Haa, kal baat kijiye ga. Phir hum bhi baat karenge. Dont worry. Sab theek hoga.
Nisha- Hmm. I hope so.
They went upstairs together, to their respective rooms.
Morning came after a long night.
Nisha was actually waiting for Kabir surprise and she was too impatient as she too had something really important to tell him.
Kabir- Nisha, tu taiyar hain na? Surprise ke liye?
Nisha- Haa.
Kabir- Toh phir niche chale?
Nisha- Hmm.
They went down.
After a minute or two, Viraj joined them. And then, Vasundhara too.
Vasundhara sat toh the chair next to Viraj's.
Maa- Hume aap sabse kuch kehna hain.
Kabir- Haa ma! Kisne mana kiya hain?
Nisha- Kabir, wo bolne hi waali hain.
Maa- Hmm, toh hum ye kehna chahte hain ke, Kabir aur Nisha ki shaadi ki toh bohut time ho chuki hain, toh hum aab chahte hain ke humare baare bete bhi aapni zindagi me aage baadhe.
Viraj was dumbfounded. He had no idea of what his mother was talking about. Nisha on the other hand had no reaction in her face. She too, was greatly shocked. This wasnt what they wanted.
Kabir looked at Nisha's face.
Kabir- Maa? Hume bhi kuch...kehna hain. Nisha se.
Maa- Ab aapko Kisne roka hain?
Nisha couldnt react after what she had heard from Vasundhara. She didnt have the guts to meet Viraj's eyes.
Kabir- Nisha? Ye...
He handed her a packet.
Nisha- Isme kya hain?
Kabir- Kholiye?
Nisha- Hmm.
Viraj didnt know what to tell Nisha. He was still thinking what to say.
Nisha opened the packet. There were some papers inside. She took them out. She began reading them. Her eyes could have pooped out after what she saw. She couldnt speak. Tears were building up in her eyes. Viraj noticed all her facial expressions.
Viraj- Nisha? Kya hua? Aap...Kabir? Kya hain ye?
Kabir- Bhai...
Nisha cut him off.
Nisha- Di...divo...divorce papers.
Viraj- Kya?
Viraj too couldnt believe his ears.
Vasundhara- Kabirr! Thappar padega ek tujhe. Kya batameezi hain ye sab?
Kabir- Maa! Please. Hume bolne dijiye.
Nisha couldnt control herself anymore. She began crying out loud. Seeing this Viraj got off his seat and came and sat next to Nisha's chair which was empty. He couldnt see her cry. He held her hands which still contained the legal papers and which were shaking.
Viraj- Nisha, Nisha. Dont cry. Please. Bass, its okay.
Kabir- Nisha. Ye hi tha, surprise. Humne shaadi kis halat mein kiya tha wo yaad hain na tujhe? 3 months ke liye saath rehna tha. Par Maa ke liye tune wait kiya, tahki unhe bura naa lage. Par Nisha, its okay. Aab tujhe ye saab karne ki zarurat nahi hain yaar. Aajse maine tujhe free kar diya hain. Yaar, sorry. Main na, ye pehle ki kar diya hota, par yaar, India ke laws, iss mein 6 mahino ki shaadi hona zaruri hain. So yaar...
Nisha- Kabir? Par...
Nisha surely wanted this, but not like this.
Viraj- Ka...
Viraj turned around to see all Nisha's cousins standing near the door of the Huge dining room. Kirti, Sukku, Umesh, Dolly, Bunty, Jwala and there was Aman and Saurav too. They had heard everything.
Precap- Nisha to decide what to do with the divorce papers. Vasundhara has a lot to say to Nisha. Cousins speak to Nisha and they also forgive Viraj for everything.
