It's good to have an opinion IMO & that's the only reason everyone discusses what they to discuss, out here 😊 Being defensive is OK to some extent too-as long as it's not offending someone. That's how fans are & always would be. Also, the content of the show matters a lot to start kicking off these discussions- if there is NOTHING to discuss, then know that the show is NOT gonna do well since it failed to invoke an emotion, a debate or a discussion from the audience. So, it's NOT about holding a discussion, it's about NOT having a discussion that one should be more concerned about! That's my opinion! 😆
>>Very true. It would boring also if nobody had opinions😆
I like all ur points Ritzie and I would like to 'try' to answer them to the best of my knowledge.. I could be wrong or right.. So apologies in advance if it doesn't make sense or if it's wrong 😳
1) why do we have to defend the move? Whenever I have defended any of their moves, I tend to find myself analyzing first & foremost if it was done in accordance of their character. If I am spending 30 minutes daily to watch NAUC, the least these writers can do is NOT serve me some gibberish. Apne baare mein hee bolungii yahaan, I don't defend most of their moves! It's the opposite case for me. I 'discuss' how the writers keep butchering every character to suit their needs! 😆 So, yeah I play offensive combat!
>>Defending the move as an opinion is fine. Like if you say "Why Viraj probably did this was because he may have thought/ experienced ...". But taking the ownership for the character is funny. How can you defend the move and be 100% be confident about what you are saying as if you are Viraj's mom and he comes and tells you everything in the evening. This is what I find funny. And i am sure you have noticed such posts/ comments too.😆
2) I don't think there are any posts in this forum which aren't 'OPEN' for discussion for EVERYONE! Last time i checked, there weren't even proper CC/ DT in place where u seek permission from TM. If there are such threads, please let me know. Writing Disclaimers (like- Topic strictly for NiRaj fans) & restricting 'entry' to any of the posts are against the forum rules. And like u said, there's zero secrecy here. So, you can all read, participate & discuss whatever (pertaining to the show) & wherever you like..
>>I never noticed you were coolbie😲. I hope you didn't read my comment about letting IF make more money.🤣 (not that you are earning anything but loyalty bhi koi cheez hoti hai😆). Sure, I am glad that there is a rule for not restricting people to go inside as it is quite tempting when you are asked to "not come". Will send you the links next time.
3) why do we feel the pain of the character? I used to but after all their characters were 'tweaked' & everything went awry toh I stopped 'connecting' & feeling their pains! 😆 If anyone feels their pain, that just means they find this story too compelling; they can relate to it on some level- and there is NOTHING wrong in that. The problem arises when one starts 'wearing' the character, adopts it & then defensively starts thinking Viraj/ Nisha/ Kabir would 'do' like you yourself would want him/ her to behave or act- and if they don't, it arises negative emotions within you- that's wrong. Pain & empathy diminishes & anger takes over. "kill the CVs".. "Burn them".. Gawsshh.. The writers gave birth to these characters which you loved, and now those emotions get shuffled! The actors may or maynot Love their character. I don't expect Tuhina to LOVE Gayatri. Haan she loves 'playing' Gayatri. That's her job! They have opinions too (hopefully). It's upto them if they wanna 'discuss' them Or ignore them to talk about some other lighter stuff. 😉
>> I agree here with you (and same points as above that feel the pain but don't take ownership of the character😆). Somebody said na "feel like killing other person online"🤣. But don't worry, I enjoy all the posts.
And on a separate note, it's NICE to find someone out here who's not a fan of any one. I am like you as well, atleast I strive to be. Detached. And completely carefree about the story or where it's headed! Hey, as long as the show is running right?? 😆 Cheers!
>>Exactly. I appreciate the characters and enjoy them. I can think about what writer would have thought when a particular thing but its hard for me to have my life just around those characters. Duniya mein bahut kuch hai, Viraj, Nisha or Kabir ke alawa.
