"I'll order food for both of us from outside. I've seen your cooking skills" said Viraj. Nisha too nodded her head. She was too shaken for the morning to try another cooking experiment for the rest of the day. Such a situation never came in her house. Her mother was an excellent multi-tasker who did everything from her job to her cooking and managing the family and children perfectly. If she was out of town, Vimla Taiji or Umesh Bhaiyya would cook for her, Papa, Suku and Bunty. It never entered her wooly head that she might have to learn making at least a cup of coffee.

Viraj said, "The food will come in twenty minutes. Let's do something interesting before that."

Nisha started thinking about it, "Antakshari...dumb charades...or..."

Viraj suggested, "We'll play hide-and-seek. You remember that night when you got locked up with me when you came to say sorry and get your contract papers signed. Both of us were playing hide-and-seek unknown to each other. It was great fun. Shall we do that again?"

Nisha thought carefully to herself, "There's nothing very risky in this. It's just a game and that too a harmless and childish one. Viru too will not keep harping about his love in all the direct and indirect ways possible if he is occupied" before she said out aloud, "Ok. Let's play hide-and-seek. What are the rules of this game?"

Viraj said, "The person who is out will count from one to ten and the other person will hide before that. If you are found out before two minutes, you're out. If you're not caught you win. The loosing person has to drink a shot of Vodka as a punishment. Is that clear?"

Nisha was getting a bit wary, "The rest is Ok. We will take out the Vodka bit."

Viraj convinced her, "What will be the fun and thrill in the game if we take the only fun bit out? And don't you have confidence in yourself that you will not get out. This punishment is for the looser only."

Nisha suspiciously agreed but got carried away with the flow of things when the game began. She got out five times and he go out five times. By the time the food came, both of them were thinking why they were walking with their hands while they ought to walk with their legs. Viraj paid Rs 5000 instead of paying Rs 1000 which was their actual bill and apologized to the delivery boy that he forgot to give him his tips and gave Rs 1000 extra.

Both of them were searching for the chairs near the table to sit on but could not find any as they had thrown them here and there during their game. Finally they decided that the table was the best place to sit on. Somehow they completed that horror of a meal spilling food all over and feeding each other in between. Robotic Darji, if he had been there at that time, would have had a fit seeing all this. He would never think of taking the day off even in his dreams for fear of clearing the whole mess later on.

After this, Nisha decided that it was time for some entertainment. She decided that she would do a belly dance on that table. Viraj decided he would encourage her like the cheer girls in a twenty-twenty cricket match. The table rocked and rocked like a ship in the storm before it fell along with Viraj and Nisha.

"Tha...t was awe...some Ni...sha" Viraj spoke in a muzzled voice.

"I...m...t...ired. We...ll play some...thing else w...hich is ...not ...so...tire...some" Nisha suggested.

"One...word ...answers to one... word ques...tions" Viraj said.

"Done...Viru...done" Nisha agreed.

Viraj: Sing...ham

Nisha: Ter..ror

Nisha: Ka...bir

Viraj: Kabab...mein...haddi

Nisha: Bad...bad. But my..turn Kirti

Viraj: Clas...sy

Viraj: Darj...i

Nisha: Robo...tic

Nisha: Pa...pa

Viraj: Sasur...ji

Nisha: Wrong...wrong. Your turn ...to ask

Viraj: Vi...ru

Nisha: Lo...ve

Viraj: Right...right

Nisha: Wrong...wrong

Viraj: I said... ri...ght

Nisha: No...wro...ng

Both of them start fighting with each other and get tired. Nisha finally said, "Enou...gh. Anoth...er...game. We'll...go round ...this ta...ble and promise...the ...things we'll...do for ...each ...oth...er."

"Done...ta...ble ...phe...ras"

Viraj: I...go...first accord...ing to...the rules...of phe...ras and you...fo...llow me.

Viraj: I'll nev...er give Darji and ...staff a day ...off

Nisha: I'll nev...er make cof...fee for you in my life ins...tead I'll ask you to make for me.

Viraj: I'll nev...er take your NO se...riously.

Nisha: I'll al...ways be pa...tient with you be...cause I know you are a tube...light in under...standing people ...and ...things.

Viraj: I'll nev...er be an...gry with you ...even if you ...do ...some...thing fool...ish.

Nisha: I'll see to it that ...people... don't cheat you ...and take you ...for granted.

SEVEN

Viraj: I'll ne...ver stop ...loving you

Nisha hits him very angrily and says in between her sobs, "If you...loved me...so much...why did ...you break...up...why did...you patch up...Kaira...why Kabir ...and I...why everything ...not ...all right."

Viraj says, "You told...I'm tube..light...that's...why"

Both of them fall asleep beside each other holding each other's hands tightly like two innocent lovable cherubs.

I've planned the whole story before itself. It may have ten more parts. I usually update once a day if I am not too busy. Happy that all my cousins love to read the updates. As far as this part is concerned I was not able to completely write what I visualized in my mind. But I hope that my cousins will make up for that by adding their imagination to this part while reading.
