Actually the matter is that viru's dadaji wanted viru to marry kiara and he agreed

a day before engagement they all got to know that kiara is in a relationship and dadaji got angry so he decided to reveal about her relationship to everyone and cancel engagement

but viru being a gentlement did not wanted to let her reputation down so he broke the engagement taking everything on him

Maybe he felt like he didnt deserve anyone becoz kiara was in relationship with another person even after knowing that she is gonna be married to viru
