I really hope Dadi helps them out. A commotion especially on money matters in front of the family will be a huge insult for Ramesh and Lakshmi, and the taunt baarish which is already on will never end.

Mohan and Kirti scene was hilarious. and very nicely done.
when Mohan says, "Kirti beta, me bahot hi serious baat kehne ki koshish kar raha hoon, please understand" I actually liked how as a father he couldn't come up straight with what he wanted to say but still was trying to communicate. 👍🏼
I just somehow don't want Ramesh and Laxmi's insult this time. if they have to be insulted then I want Dolly & Sumeet's truth to be out too. Viren too should be put in his place. I hated the scene where he told dolly that he was very glad his kids weren't there on terrace. he is very proud of them n all. he even got up from breakfast table. he needs to be shown the mirror. he questioned Ramesh's parenting, I don't believe in taunting but viren would be the last one who has rights to question anyone's parenting.

All the three brothers have to contribute equally for the shagun. The two elder ones had decided on 50000 each, Ramesh immediately tells it's not possible but the brothers dont understand. Now Ramesh relies on the moeny he had given to Suku for getting bike. But Suku without informing Ramesh gets the bike. So now when Ramesh asks for money, Suku out of fear doesn't tell the truth and roams around saying he has money. Suku tells the truth to the cousins and now Aloo have to clear about exchanging envelopes..😆

Coming to Ramesh and Lakshmi. Can't comment much without knowing what their financial condition was back then. It doesn't seem like Ramesh and Lakshmi are in poverty..meaning looking at the way Suku dresses, Nisha's scooty and others, they are well to do but poor compared to the rest of the family. As for the money problems, it could be because Ramesh received very less salary that particular month and hence there are issues now

Shwets, sorry for not being clear earlier. I have watched all episodes till yesterday so I know all about this track. shagun money n sukku's bike. thanks for writing it all again.😊
exchanging envelopes, I got the idea going by Aloo's post n yesterday's precap. Sukku wouldn't able to collect money, and hence the solution. looks stupid I say. but let's see.
I don't think so it's just this month issue shwets, I don't think them as poor. definitely they are good to do according to middle class standard, may be less compared to other brothers, but what I understood is, because of Ramesh's other interests & lack of interest in family business, or whatever reason, I think they have always been tight financially. and that's why I was wondering why 3 kids. but that's for another discussion. may be it's just me.

@bold The best part of that scene for me was...how he asked Kirti not to brush her teeth in the terrace...🤣

Somehow I felt, the way things are going in the family, Ramesh was right in saying..that everything goes right in the family if he keeps quiet. His keeping quiet might help the entire family, but his own household is never peaceful. It's a very difficult dilemma. I loved how Lakshmi said to Nisha that to take other's blame, you need courage. Ramesh seems to have it.

Viren (again and again reminds me of Mota Bhai of BBB but Mota Bhai was never mean) should be shown the mirror for sure. I really expected Vimla to tell Viren the truth, especially after the way he was behaving with Nisha and taunting. Ramesh is a proud father now, but he can never show his pride and happiness to anyone and share it. Same goes to Lakshmi also. Viren needs to know what his kids really think of him.

No problem..😊 Exchanging envelopes would just degrade Ramesh and Lakshmi if it comes out in public. What are the cousins thinking? How much of a problem it can create. Seems too childish. Dolly and Kirti spends so much, they won't have it?

Hmm..Again can't be sure. Hmm...I don't know. I think they are fine for a middle class and can manage their living comfortably. The problem arises when they have to contribute to big occasions like this. The writers might not even have thought this. They would have wanted a small boy in the cousins so added one..😆

and Kirti says, there are other ways of brushing these days. like mouthwash etc.. 🤣🤣 that cracked me up. poor mohan's face was a sight at that dialogue.. 🤣
Laxmi's words were so apt & meaningful. It asks for lot of courage to stay true to what you said when you are helping someone. Nisha & Ramesh both has it. Nisha saw everyone taunting her parents, but for Dolly's sake, she kept mum. Ramesh also even after knowing the truth, was proud of his daughter but did not run to give it back to viren n everyone. it's difficult to be like it, and maintain it. it asks for lot of courage.
and yes, I also expected vimla to come out with it when Viren N mohan both left dining table. it was rude. I thought dolly would speak up. but nope she sat there.. cry face banake. that's why I wanted to slap her. it was ok first time when she didn't have courage to own up her mistake. but everytime she can see her sister getting blamed, her uncle-aunt getting taunted but she can't open her mouth? shameful. viren I find the most vile in all 3 brothers. mohan is ok, he taunts but he isn't hurtful. whereas viren keeps putting all blame on Ramesh. his own kids fear him (not a sign of good parent) and still he boasts about his kids & parenting the most. I would love a track where all his boasting comes cracking in front of him. he needs a realization.

Oh yes...mouthwash cracked me too...🤣 The look on Mohan's face..😆 Poor father..😆 With a wife and daughter like this...no wonder his hair has greyed so much..🤣

Lakshmi understands everyone so well. She knows Nisha is not going to back out. She knows she is exactly like her father when it comes to saving family or family members. Instead of sulking, she is giving courage for Nisha to do what she want to. Great parenting. Thumbs up for that scene.

Viren. If you watch today's episode, he wants to copy whatever Dadaji does and I mean literally. So if Dadaji is angry with Nisha, he too will be. I am sure we will have a huge spat between Umesh and Viren when Umesh loses control. That will definitely happen but definitely it will take time. Those are probably the main tracks. Viren is living in his own world and that he is right. When it shatters, its going to be very difficult for him.

Btw..Rupal heard the conversation between Suku and Ramesh regarding the money. Will she help or make things worse?

I found nisha and souravs scene really sweet. Bechara sourav phas gaya. Kya kya karna padta hai dost ke liye.
Aww felt sorry for my jwalu today. kirti and roopan are mean man.
Dolly clearly loves and cares about her cousins but she's just a coward. She can't own up to her own mistakes or stand up to big problems. She is going to have to learn when she gets married. It'll be good to see her grow up more after marriage.
Viren has really drained the courage out of his kids as a result they both lack the courage they need. I agree, he is going to get the shock he needs when umesh bursts.
Sukku really shouldn't have bought the bike. The problem is that the kids take ramesh too lightly.
The envelope plan is indeed stupid. Kya kya soojta hai in cousins ko. They don't even realise the repercussions of doing this.
I hope roopan does help. It'd be nice to see the good side of her.

I am just not getting what is the harm in telling the truth to Dadaji at least. At most Dolly will get a shout or two, then maamla khatam. Or else take Dadi into confidence and ask her to help you out!! What is the point of all this faltu tamasha, getting a BF, lying about marriage blah blah. SO IMMATURE! It almost makes it look like these cousins (especially Nisha) have some sort of EGO that they don't want to accept defeat or their mistakes in front of their Dadaji- even the thought of embarassment or further screw up doesn't stop them. And this is not the first time that they have created bigger problems for themselves and others when the MUCH simpler solution would have been to simply tell the truth to the elders. Even Suku is hiding such an important thing about the money. Now Kirti's stupid plan might just make a bigger mess. You make mistakes fine, but at least let the elders help you do damage control! Eventually everything goes wrong, there is hell lot of embarassment and things reach a point where even damage control gets difficult. The Lehenga issue is one fine example.

I liked Jwala's part of the episode today. It was very realistic. So far Jwala and Umesh come across as the most interesting characters.

Edited:
Forgot to add one more thing, how the hell are elders in the house even believing that Nisha has a BF? They live in the same house, they know everything about each other, they know Nisha doesn't like girly things, BF's and claims she will never get married, and she is someone who is blunt and outspoken enough to say truths about herself just as they are- then how are they able to accept so readily that Nisha made a BF in just one day and was on the terrace with him?! How come even Dadi didn't say anything about it?

If anything, Nisha's lie was the biggest proof that the story was all made up. And I think the only person who truly believed it was her Dadaji. He is a very smart man, and the one who truly knows and understands what Nisha is like. Hence he challenged her to bring her BF as he would get them engaged. He knows this is the only thing which will push Nisha over the edge to confess.

I think if the truth is out, there is fear of Dolly's wedding getting cancelled. The arrangement Dadaji saw on the terrace has made everyone believe that whoever was there on the terrace were being intimate. So even if they know it's Sumit and Dolly, fingers will be pointed at their character. If Sumit's mother knows she will definitely call off the wedding. At the end Dolly would be the one to suffer.

I think except Viren, Mohan and Rupal, others don't believe Nisha could have a boyfriend. They are pretty much sure Nisha is lying. Dadaji wants to see the extent the cousins go to hide the truth.

But that would be hypocritical and very wrong of her cos her son was equally involved in what happened- it was a two sided thing- Dadaji would have a right to shout at them too and speak some harsh truths about not only their son but also their rotten mentality of blaming only the girl. Or are we supposed to understand that Dolly's MIL is a shamefully bitchy and regressive woman- a fact which the whole family understands, has accepted and has no wish to speak against and hence they are keeping quiet about it?

Rather than showing all this unnecessary stupid heroism on the part of Nisha that doesn't even make sense and looks more like ego, they could have shown that Dolly's MIL wishes to break the wedding after finding Sumit-Dolly on the terrace, and while the elders cry and request her to 'forgive and accept' Dolly and she still refuses, Nisha, the outspoken, bold one could have rightfully given a well deserved earful/bashing to Dolly's MIL about punishing and defaming the girl for something her son was equally involved in and the cousins supporting Dolly and Nisha. They could have shown Dolly getting out of her dream princess world and showing some character growth and Sumit growing a spine and returning to her later against the wishes of his mother. They can still turn it into something like this when the truth comes out. Heroism and boldness would be appreciated if it is used for the right purpose at the right time, thoughtless heroism and sacrifice that just creates more trouble for everyone fails to impress.
