Exactly!! During all this time, he pretended to lose his memory so, he created the character of Debu who is even scared of rats. To aisa banda achanak se herogiri dikhayega to logon ko shaq to hoga hi.

As Dev, he was called the Hero of BN cos he had once saved Karuna ji and another time saved Vivaan. So, Dev is expected to do such things but Debu is not.

I know that... they are just awesome. I was literally floored when I saw this scene for the first time.
