What I want help with is... How do I describe Nishant's POV? How do I describe what was going on in his mind while he locked away those things? Moreover, why did he lock them away?

I told you already, in Shatter itself you have written those.

You can show that he was getting ready when a box would fell and he'll remember putting it away after their death. So the guilt part you can add from Shattered. Then may be Piya and Saavi would notice him and he would tell them that he locked those away because it reminded him of Piya and Divya. So Piya would suggest to hang those pictures in remembrance of Divya because ultimately they won over evil.

So, you mean that basically he had locked away those things because they reminded him of Pia and Divya? Because he was feeling guilty that he wasn't able to save them?

You could do that. After all, he missed them! He just didn't want them to be present all the time around him.

Chalo... Finally the biggest issue is resolved. I can concentrate on my OS as well as chapter 14 now... 😆
