Whenever Ansh used to speak rubbish in front of Piya, I used to wish that Bhaisa makes an appearance & do some Khatirdari of his ex SIL. 😈

Well, actually he was the only one who was a match for our Sanskaari Kumar... Bhaisa uncle full preparation ke saath aaye the SIL ki band bajane...

Baki Naman was never a match for him and sarp bhi pit gaya... Only PK saved the sarp courtesy Ved Mata!!!

Ek achhi si fight dekhne ko mili thi Sasur-Damad main... Ek aur fight dekhni hai!!!!

True. We have hardly got proper fight sequences of DD against evil entities, specially DV.

Mo Ko To Yeh Log Sar Pe Charha Ke Rakhte Hain Aur DD Ko Total Nikamme! 🤬

That was one sequence woth watching. 😎

@Bold I had high expectations from Nishant. But he didn't do anything. So I was missing Bhaisa a lot. At least he took a stand for his daughter. 👏

Exactly... We got very less fight sequences for DV... Waise bhi, most of the villains who entered were females... Ab DV ki females ke saath mukka-laat to nahi dikha sakte na!!!

At least Daivik vs Mo to mila tha ek episode main... And I really loved it!!!!

Daivik-DV to hain hi total nikamme.... And Mo, hum log tang aa chuke hain Mo ke over glorification se... Ab kuch kehne ke liye bacha hi nahi hai!!!!

I loved the entire Navratri track... Be it DV vs Bhaisasur or Pia's tandav... Not to forget the dandiya competition... Although, I had wished that Ved and PL wouldn't be involved...

Definitely... Bhaisa uncle took a stand for his daughter and he was literally furious... Boiling in anger...

True. It's a pity. At points, I loved watching Daivik kicking Mo's ass. But then again, many times they showed Davansh overpowering Daivik like how she needed his help to defeat the Sarp and it kind of ruined the moment. I mean even if she is a human with limited powers, she is still Durga's medium. So a Sarp giving tough time to her was a huge let down.

But when they glorified Davnsh in these cases, they never really showed him fighting with any powerful evil entity. He was more involved in playing PUBG or doing preparing for his wedding with different female characters.

Since the Kohra Track, Nazar came back on track as each of those tracks revolved around DD and they both had equal contribution. I wish they keep it this way. After a long time Nazar's TRP has increased. If they again start glorifying Mo or RiAd unnecessarily, it might fall again. I hope we don't hae to endure another unnecessary, forced separation of PiyAnsh.

Oh! I didn't know about these. 😅 But if I am not wrong, none of those shows are as popular as Nazar, are they? I read some article about Nagin 3 where Anita's character was raped instead of Surbhi's character. So you see, in the most popular shows they always keep the ML and FL's image clear.

As for creative liberty, very few production house and writers have the guts to go against public demand and showcase their original story.

Sony - who usually telecast shows with bold contents, even they pulled the plug on YMMKD for low ratings. I read in their forum about multiple spoilers where the channel forced them to show typical story and introduce vamps. But the creators were firm on their decision and ended the show on a happy note rather than destroying it.

And then we come to SP itself. They meddled too much with Ek Bhram, made it trash & now it's going off air. Here the producer decided to go with the flow.

So you see, popular shows and popular channels do have some characteristics fixed for their leads and shows.

Those shows are very popular specially Anamika which is remembered till today. No it doesn't depend on popularity rather the creatives behind it. I agree tho on itv they do take liberties with the male leads while they ensure the female leads remain pure as driven snow.

Oh 😯 Thanks for clearing it up. 🙂 Actually my point was, they make the leads do all sorts of Kaarname but in such cases like getting raped or physically assaulted, there they have to keep their image clean.

To be honest, a lot of the times I find the so called Puta-Pavitra Leads to be the main culprits of the show - both FL & ML.

Which is why I prefer flawed characters as they seem more realistic and they don't preach people on morality when they themselves are screwing up all the time.

Like Mauli in Silsila, she was an absolute treat to watch.
