Makers have to be very carefull to show daivik powers in show but they have liberty to experiment with daayan and daavansh character.

I have a slightly different take on this. The makers shot themselves in the foot with that one. They got viewers attracted by making her Daivik but got trapped by their own gimmick.

You got it right story wise Sarpika was badass Daivik wasn’t. They had more creative freedom with Sarpika but with Piya as Daivik they had to be cautious.

It’s a shame really because Piya in a Daivik’s avataar could have created a powerful impact given more freedom.

I strongly feel when you have to write with fear at the back of your mind you produce boring material.

Makers had attracted audience by Daavansh-Daivik concept that concept wise is very interesting but makers got confused how to proceed with this concept. If Pia was introduced as any other super being then surely its going to be too different.

Sarpika track had its own charm but u see audience got irritated how Pia daivik is converted into Sarpika so again concept changes. Sarpika track was full of passion and piAnsh chemistry in this sarpika track was at its hightest.

Yes makers had fear of audience but audience is also not too much at fault, if they always over glorified Mohana and show Pia Daivik as weak in front of mohana so we cant blame audience also. And freedom regarding religious matters is something that makers should know its limit, u cant play with any religion and its facts. That's why on first place i was not in favour of extension, some shows are at its best if its finite. because if Nazar was shown as planned till 100 episodes then story will be at another level. And that's why makers choose to make Pari a daayan instead of Daivik, they dont want to repeat that same mistake again. And make Adi a hybrid so they can experiment with Adi's character also as he is part daavansh also. Regarding sensitivity audience will feel hurt if makers always shows Mohana winner and Pia looser . I know that time when Pia powers were not activated in 2-3 months then all tweeted him and asks for Pia Daivik powers again and again.

The serial is based on a Daayan. She is the main Antagonist. I don't know why they showed her more powerful than Daivik Davansh tho.

Regarding the Daivik- Davansh concept I wish they hadn't gone that route.

I won't comment on the relgious sensitivity issue I feel if i say anything it will be misconstrued.

Good point you brought up about why Pari is Daayan.

We agree there story wise they have more creative freedom with fictional personas.

I do agree with Magic. Makers might not show much of Daivik because even a trivial error would receive huge backlash from audiences, rightfully. As I didn't understand it's significance but some member gave the complete description of Mahakali here and was offended.

I felt the same way when they launched Bahu Begum and made it look like in Islam, people just indulge in polygamy and there's no rule about it. I was disgusted to the core. 😡

So in one way it's better if the makers avoid showing too much of Daivik for avoiding error.

"Dosti main no sorry no thank you !" Just Kidding smiley36

You Me Nikki M we both know we both know we are not not like that. So there's no need to feel uneasy.

Regarding Bahu Begum i never watched the show i only know about the promo.

Simone looked graceful didn't she ? Last time i saw her in a power packed role was in Ek thi Haseena.

Now that was a fight i appreciated it was a matching of wits vs wits.

Thanks a lot dear! 😊 But religion is a serious issue and I won't like anyone making fun of my belief. To Yaha Pe Apology Bhi Banti Hain! 😊

I haven't seen Simone or promo of the show. I was going through the spoilers and when I came across Bahu Begum, my BP rose. I felt it's nothing other than a scheming vamp but they are trying to legalize it by introducing a Muslim family which is disgusting. Whatever religion you are focusing on, you should at least do thorough research about the particular topic. 😡

I haven't seen EHT but it looked promising from the promo and the few scenes I had scene here and there. Even though it was an adaptation of REVENGE, the cast did complete justice. 👍🏼

Im flattered Thanks smiley9

First off before i begin I have to ask

🤯 Grey's Anatomy is still going on !!! I left it what season 6. I thought it was over !

How fast did u type this. To compose this it took me an hour. I like your analysis too Nushy. smiley20We should do it more often exchange notes.

About overglorification, for me, it was a combination of a few things which looked totally out of the place. First - they didn't show any boundary to Adi's power. Ansh has his weaknesses, Piya has hers. But Adi was shown as a wonder kid who started exhibiting his power at mere 6 months. Not to mention his intellect as he made Mo recall her grandma. smiley36

That's what i said Baby Jacks powers. 😆

The second thing was Mo's overglorification as a Sarpayan and the introduction of a completely different entity saying a Rakshak is needed.

I didn't understand about the Rakshak bit ?

I would be completely honest here. Usually I don't bother about how much ss my favorite actor/character is getting as long as there is a good story and the ensemble cast get their due. In fact, that's what makes the drama interesting. This might be the only reason that even after 15 years, I am looking forward to Grey's Anatomy's new season.

Have u watched Smart Prison living or Answer Me 98 ? It's about all the characters there is no lead hero heroine.

But all those 3 plots came too early and had no head or tail even if we go by supernatural logic.

Piya became pregnant too early. Then Mo became a Sarpayan which made no sense as a Sarpika's venom is fatal for a Dayanvanshi. Not only that, she was shown to control natural element when Piya got into labor which was a big blow. Then Asuransh came out of nowhere and we assumed Adi to be the protector.

There are no specific ground rules to powers on Nazar is what we all keep saying.

But from another perspective we couldn't drag the Raktchandra grahan track. It had to end with Mo dying and we needed Mo to survive somehow so her stealing a sarp's powers to live seemed like a clever out.

Asurranch track flopped. Shame i was warming up to Tara 🤔

I decided to quit after Season 15 because they pretty much ended all the interesting characters and Amelia being my favorite, I was mighty pissed. But then again read an article and decided to watch for Amelia.

😆

I didn't understand about the Rakshak bit ?

Asuransh was introduced just when Piya got pregnant. And Kagraj said he is so powerful that the world needs a Rakshak to save it from Asuransh. Since they implied NEW - it directly pointed to Piya's baby.

Have u watched Smart Prison living or Answer Me 98 ? It's about all the characters there is no lead hero heroine.

I haven't. But most of the shows that I enjoyed like Modern Family, Once Upon A Time or Grey's Anatomy - all of them focused on everyone which made it more interesting. But it's almost non existent in ITV. When a new character gets introduced, the complete focus shifts toward him/her and the fans start bashing the actor in real life, which is very unfortunate.

But from another perspective we couldn't drag the Raktchandra grahan track. It had to end with Mo dying and we needed Mo to survive somehow so her stealing a sarp's powers to live seemed like a clever out.

Mo had to survive as she is the prota-antagonist here. But Sarpayan was too much for me. Plus, Piya being pregnant didn't risk anything and went in hiding on Ansh's insistence, which was another disappointment. Sarpika or Daivik, I always want her to give it back to Mo like she did before getting pregnant and after Adi riding Nandi track. Their balanced fight makes it interesting.

Asurranch track flopped. Shame i was warming up to Tara 🤔

Honestly, I feel sorry for her fans. They must have been very excited for her comeback but it turned out utter flop. It's a good thing she quit. She deserves better.

You're a sensitive thoughtful soul Nushy. I don't believe you are capable of mocking anyone's religious beliefs. I'm saying this because i have observed u. Hey if you're being hard on yourself don't I have the right to comfort you.

EHT i felt they jampacked 2 years story in one. I objected to the theme they picked. But on the whole it was clever. You didn't know who was relly going to win ?

Bahu begum I haven't watched. It sounded soap operaish.

Thank you so much for such sweet words Alisha. 🤗 And don't worry dear, I am not being too hard on myself. 😊 But sometimes unknowingly we can hurt others feelings. So apologize and move on - that's what I believe. 😊

Well, we knew Durga was going to win. But it was nice as they kept it balanced. Because Goenkas were too powerful and it was never possible for Durga to eliminate them at once. That's what my expectation from Nazar is - keep it balanced as it's never possible for one party to win always.

Bahu Begum - read about the concept and didn't like it. I read updates a lot more than actually watching TV. 😆 I watch any show at any episode if I find it interesting. Which is why in the last 5-7 years apart from YHM and NK, I never got excited for any show. All the shows that I love, I came across them accidentally on YouTube. Even Bhootu I got hooked by watching a song and then started watching it on TV. In case of ITV, light hearted shows are executed in a better way than the dramatic ones. 🤔

Guys please chill and don't think that anyone has hurt anybody's feelings , we all understand each other so i had just said it as a general way that too much religious facts should be avoided. In past this forum had turned into battle field because of too much sensitivity, and members fight among themselves, we all do not come in that category at all. So please chill guys🤗

Oh i also love reading updates more than watching TV. From past 2-3 yrs i had not watched any ITV show but this Nazar is the first which had actually got me so excited. I am watching DD on and off or rather continuing it by reading updates. Aghori i had not watched but keeping touch by updates but never get attached to DD or Aghori like Nazar. If we are reading updates it feels like reading novel somewhere and sometimes too much watching TV seems like time wasting.
