I still want lucky to go ahead with the bike promise. He knows how much rocky is excited. He cannot just leave it because sweety said no.
I hope showdowns happen before party. I want the party to be a happy one.

Yes, I want Lucky to show he has some spine. His promise was one between a father and son, Sweety got no right to interfere. And if he backs down, my respect for Lucky will go down.

The problem is he gets stuck between son and wife all the time. I still hope he gives rocky bike. Though I cannot say about respect coming down because of this but he needs to step up now. But sweety is not listening to even one word of his... what's he going to do??

If a father cannot keep up his promise when the son faithfully completes his end of the deal, he loses respect in my eyes.

He has to take charge and tell Sweety that she is out of line. He has known her behavior from beginning, if he knew there could be such problems, he shouldn't have promised it. If he is going to do everything with Sweety's permission, he should have taken it before making the promise.

I understand what you are saying. But won't it be better if he convinces hr and get? I totally agree abt the promise and he has to keep it up...but what guarantee whether sweety will allow rocky to ride if got without her consent. What if she does emotional blackmail then...it will be better lucky convinces her and get it...but he should definitely give it in his birthday
