If we take Parvarish for example, there is a segment of people who will like the show. They have to continue the show for those segment of people

Agree. Star Plus & Colors particularly have spoiled Indian Women portrayal.

For Sony, I still think they try new things. Even though they don't get much TRPs, they still are not going the old Saas-Bahu saga.

They show the saas-bahu drama also quite realistically.

I read somewhere, they don't cover Areas widely all over India like how SP & other channels do.

That is the poblem here. Also, lack of consistency & Execution. SP executes even the worst concept more convincingly than Sony Shows.

Shows on Sony is not for all the people honestly. For eg: there was a show Rishta.Com. It was one of the finest shows I have ever saw. It was like the English sitcoms. Sadly No trps. show bandh.

ANd, for Sony, the minute they goes down TRP chart, they turn into the most illogical dramatic stuff. That is wrong. They need to be consistent.

They have to be consistent and they should not look for the same response. Now Sony has CID. No show is able to compete in that genre. Sony can create their own genre , completely different from other channels.

The current shows on Sony is definitely much better. But they have not marketed properly. Promos were not that appealing. Parvarish promos were too good and people could connect easily.

If Sony makes those necessary changes and build a proper strategy, they can create their own place.

Another point is, they can actually use platforms like I-F into much better use. Ignoring the crazy fans, there are many members whose views and ideas can definitely be implemented. That is a great way to keep in contact with the audience, instead of just checking TRPs

IF is very small number of people relatively to mass. But still I would say We do have lot of ideas & positive prospect to make it successful. They should definitely consider it. 😊
