Life has become so mechanical

Education and getting into merit list has become parents' be all nowadays. In this rat race, we tend to forget emotional connect. We set timetables as though a plane is going to take off.

We cut off inconvenient friends who drop unaanounced, we restrict children by not allowing them to take the needed breaks and we think our parents and parents in law must think before visiting us.

Nowadays even our elders understand the pressure and visit us only when it is suitable for us.

Life has become so mechanical.

We will understand when we become old and when our children think us of as unwanted nuisance to be tolerated.

First things many parents do is cutting off cable connection. Mothers become tuition teachers.

Everything revolves around education. Recently there was a survey showing that Indian kids lack innovative skills because their entire time is taken up to memorise all the answers.

A child who does not show interest in studies is a nightmare for parents.

Well education is the best and most suitable way to make ur career.. In other countries and all, cuz of less population, people DO have a choice to concentrate on their innovative skills and interests .. But in our country, you have to be REALLY talented in other skills if u wanna pursue ur career through that.. And then also it's not 100% guaranteed that you will be successful.. Luck and proper channel and so many factors are there..

So I really dont blame the parents if they focus mainly on the studies.. Plus, in this show, parents are encouraging their kids' extra carricular activities as well.. Like Ginny's rock comp.. Rocky's football.. Sunny's karate.. ( donno the spelling ).. Rashi and Raavi are anyways GFN and too busy in complicating their lives with Abhishek and all 🤣

So I guess studies and lil bit of extra carricular stuff is fine 😃 But study should be of utmost priority.. 👍🏼

studies are really becoming veryy imp.and the parents are becoming over-cautious about their children's academics...

totally agree! studies have shown that the kids who do not get the freedom and are forced to study all the time are the sort of kids that actually do not end up doing well in Yr 12! a balance is very much needed! kids should do everything, you are absolutely right, parents make their children's life mechanical, they forget that they gave life to these kids so they could live in this world, not die in the pressure of exams and making their parents proud all the time! life is not all about good grades, show-off and money! but a lot of parents selfishly do not understand that! and due to this attitude of theirs, the kids start disliking them also! because they can see that instead of worrying about them, they are worrying about their pride and discipline!
