I enjoy watching Comedy Nights with Kapil and Jhalak- Soumya Seth
The very beautiful and bubby actress Soumya Seth is best known for her role as Navya, in Star Plus's Navya, and who was last seen in Sony TV's Dil Ki Nazar Se.. Khoobsurat as Aaradhya. Dil Ki Nazar Se.. Khoobsurat went off air too soon much to the disappointment of her fans, who are eagerly waiting for her to return onscreen.
We called up Soumya to ask her the reason for not returning to the small screen after her last show ended, to which she said " Frankly speaking, I dont know why. It's not that I don't want to work, I really want to work, but somehow I am not doing anything. People are asking me to do a lot of things and it's not that I don't have good offers. I got offers, be it films or daily soaps, but somehow nothing is so interesting, ki haan main mehnat karu iske liye, and I believe jab tak hum kisi cheez ke liye dil se mehnat nahi karte, that thing will never satisfy you. So I'm waiting for the right script maybe."
Even though she's been getting so many offers, we asked her what type of roles excite her, to which said "I think its time we should move on from saas-bahu sagas, and I hate this idea of running behind TRPs. You just kill your show. I'm not interested in being a part of this stupid thing, so let's see."
Now that she's free from her hectic shooting schedules she told us how she keeps herself busy. "I enjoy watching good shows. There are a couple of good shows like Comedy Nights with Kapil and Jhalak on Colors, and Revenge on Star World, The Big Bang Theory, Greys Anatomy. So I watch shows, movies, read books and cook too."
Well, we hope Soumya finds an exciting new project and comes back onscreen very soon to entertain all the fans!
