Anant was checking that file and asked about some thing .She came and stood besides him very close. Both were discussing .Navya hair were open, suddenly few strand of her hair started distrubuing Anant He was taken back by her beauty ,he kept sitting there and admiring her beauty. Soon she realizes someone gaze on her. She turned her face towards him and both shared a cute eyelock. Anant broke eyelock and was embarrassed.

Chapter -3

He moved his gaze and looked down not able to face her. Then asked about another file trying to change the topic. 'Sir, almost ready hai bus thode sa kaam pending hai..i ll complete in one hour .' replied navya and then she leaves.

It was a month since navya joined Vajpai Industries , in that short period she made a huge impression on everyone. She was softspoken and passionate about her work. All her colleagues respect her even Anant was aware of this fact. But there were many thoughts and questions running in his head . He can see pain in her eyes but never asked her .

'Hi ritz' said navya as she took the call. ' Hello!!' she replied in a cheerful voice and asked 'navya aaj dinner ke liye bahar chaleny.' 'Nahi yaar mein aaj bahut thak gaye hoon office me bahut kam tha' navya replied in low voice.' Yaar, chalte hai na plzz!' in sad tone. 'umm..ok.' navya replied.

Navya and ritz were waiting for their order when someone bumped into waiter and drinks falls on navya's dress. 'Srry sir!'waiter said to that guy and to navya too 'srry Mam!'

The guy exclaimed , 'Hi! Navya.. hi ! Ritz .'

By now he knows ritz as she usually come to meet navya in office . Both of them turned their face and saw Anant looking at them and replied hi! ' Sir! aap yahan kya kar rahe hai? ' asked navya. 'Woh mein aaj jis client ke baree mein baat kar raha tha us se mileney aya tha.' Anant replied. Suddenly Ritz remembered her manners and asked with a smile 'If it's not a problem plzz join us.' 'Sure!'he replied with smile.

Navya said ' excuse me ,Mein zara wash room ho kar aati hoon.'

Now Anant and Ritz were alone then he asked , ' ritz, can I ask u a question?' 'ya sure'ritz replied. 'No, leave it .' after thinking anant said .

'let me guess u want to ask about navya naa??' asked ritz. Anant shocked , 'tumhe kaise pata??? Then pause for few sec.. Hmmm.. But plz don't tell her about that .' then she tells about her parents. Anant felt bad for her. 'Anant, tumhe pata hai woh papa ki bahut laadli thi ,us ke haar icha puri karte the, kuch khene se phele hai unhe pata chal jata tha. Iss wajah se woh thori se ziddi hai tabhi toh Kanpur mein apna bussiness chod kar yahan aa gaye, dadi ne use bahut samjahya bhi tha.'

' Hum college mein bahut masti kiya karte the woh hamesha top karte thi aur sab ke help karti thi.' In the meantime navya back and asked ' 'kya baat kar rahey the?' 'kuch nahi teri burai ker rahe the' ritz replied naughtily and giggled. She made a cute angry face then hitting softly on her shoulder 'tu bhi na .'

Anant too gave a naughty look . Both looked at each other for a second their eyes get lock but then navya looked away.

After dinner they were making their way out of restaurant when ritz phone rangs it was her mother's call.

'Anant is it ok for u to drop Navya at her palce?' asked ritz. Before navya says anything anant replied 'no problem, I ll drop her.'

In car, both were silent but kept staring glances at each other. Then navya broke the silence ,' Sir, mein auto se chale gati aap ne kyu taklef ki??' Anant , ' phele toh mujhe sir kahna band karo, office ke bahar mein tumhara sir nahi hoon ..call me anant ok.' Navya nodded her head. 'Aur is mein taklef ki kya baat hai.' And both smiled.

Navya was looking outside she made a cute face on seeing icecream corner. Anant noticed that. He asked her for ice-cream. She looked at him surprisingly (in her mind) ise kaise pata chala meri icecream khaane ka maan hai ' umm.. no sir..'( with little hesitation)

'phir sir??' anant ( with cute smile) . Navya smiled ok Anant !. He smiled at her..forwarding his hand says ' friends??' She smiled back and shook her hand. 'Mein abhi le ker ata hoon.'

After few mintues anant back with icecream and asked ' woh mein flavour puchna bhool gaya that oh mein apni pasand se chocolate ley aya.. tumhe pasand hai na?' 'meri fav hai' she replied excitedly . Both had their icecream , but he noticed that a little left at corner of her lips..he smiled at her . Navya asked what raising her eyebrows. He raised his hand and wiped her lip with his finger. She felt strange by his touch.. for a while she stopped breathing ..she could not control her erratic heartbeat . both lost in eachother's eyes ..finally navya broke the eyelock then came back to reality and started looking outside .

He felt so happy to see his effect on her. Then he turned to driving and on reaching her house he turned to her and said, 'Navya ,ek baat kahoon tum hamesha khush raha karo tumahrey chehrey per smile bahut achi lagati hai.' With a cute smile she said , 'Thanks , Sss.. Anant .' 'for what' he asked ? 'for icecream and dropping me' saying bye she got out. Anant with a cute smile, 'bye.' Then she left but stopped and turned ..and a sweet smile curved on her lips seeing that he is still there . He smiled seeing her smiling face ,finally he drove back.

Both anant and navya had sleepless night, remembering about eyelock, touch and words everything was hinting at something.

Anant (in mind) her eyes ..so beautiful..so innocent..without saying anything it speaks thousands of words.. her smile ..soo pure.. jab woh muskurati hai toh maan karta hai bus use hi dekhta rahon nazar hatane ka maan nahi karta.. and then pats on head ..what's happening to me and smiled but little scared too.

Next morning when navya reached her cabin she saw yellow roses bouquet . She was wondering who kept it but a sweet smile crept her lips on seeing them. After five mintues her intercome rang it was anant he wants file of new project. After giving file she turned to leave and said "Thanks sir!" and smiled cutely. Anant was shocked , 'ise kaise pata chala ?' (making cute puppy face)

In late evening , everyone has gone home, Anant is also walking out of his cabin to leave as he opened the door he bumped into navya ,her files drop on floor and all papers too. 'Arey navya! tum abhi tak yahni ho ghar nahi gaye?' asked anant. ' Nahi sir!! thora sa kaam reh gaya tha socha khatam ker ke he jaoon' navya replied. Both of them bend down to collect papers and both of them moved their hands at same time and instead of papers anant grabbed navya's hand, they both look into eachother eyes , she could feel a tingling sensation. He quickly lets go off navya's hand and both get up. " Sir, in papers per apke signature chahiye thi" she asked. 'Aaj nahi kal kar donga mein bahut thak gaya hoon' he replied .

After few days both friendship become more stronger .

Anant some where knew he was falling for her but he didn't want to accept it. On the other hand she too loved to be with him. Anant knows everything about her family, friends but when navya tried to ask him about his parents he always changed topic but she can see anger and pain in his eyes.
