Hey Friends Thank you once again for such a lovely Response. All your appreciation means a lot to me. Heres the 11th chapter of the RS.. hope you guys like it..
LOVE HAPPENS <3 THE SENADO SQUARE HUG
As Navya was lost in the world of antiques, Anant was busy clicking pictures with his camera. He looked outside the glass door of the shop into the bustling Senado Square Street and clicked a few pictures of the clean yet crowed market place. He clicked pictures of the small boy with the bunch of flowers in his hands, then the food stalls with pouring customers. He then turned and looked into the shop through his camera. He saw a huge antique piece beside which the shopkeeper was standing and explaining the history behind the piece to his wife. He moved his camera to the right of the antique piece and stopped there. He was looking at his wife, at Navya through the camera. She had an engrossed expression on her face as she was listened to the shopkeeper's stories but she looked beautiful, more beautiful than she had looked before.
As she asked questions and looked around the shop Anant's camera followed her and captured her.
"Sir, you can not click pictures of the shop or its items." told the shopkeeper to Anant.
"O yes.. I wasn't clicking pictures of your antiques.. Sorry." retorted Anant.
Navya looked at him narrowing her eye brows as if inquiring him what he was doing. Anant merely shrugged in reply.
After looking around the shop for some more time Navya said, " Anant hum yeh lelen Baba ke liye. It was a small Shiva statue made of some metal and was said to be 100yrs old."
Anant was amazed at the choice of gifts by Navya. She had chosen and bought things for all his family members according to their choices and he did not know how. Navya had barely known them. She hadn't even spend a day with them after their marriage. She had bought a book for Nimisha, a necklace each for Rama bhabi and chachi, and crockery set for his mother. He had liked the choice of gifts as he knew his mother loved cooking and everything related to it. Nimisha loved reading and Rama bhabi and chachi loved jewelry. But he somehow did not know how Navya came to know of it and now the gift that she chose for Baba amazed him and he ended up asking her, "Navya tumhe kaise pata ke Baba ko yeh gift pasand ayegi??"
"Bas mujhe laga ki pasand ayegi woh tumhare ghar me shivji ki badi murti hai na to mujhe laga ki shayad unhe yeh..kyun pasand nahi ayegi unhe..." asked Navya.
"Nahi aisa nahi hai.. unhe bohot pasand ayegi.. "replied Anant with a smile. He was impressed.
Navya smiled and asked the shopkeeper to pack it for them. As the shopkeeper was doing so Navya was looking at a piece of wall hanging with the image of Lord Buddha , hand knitted on it. Anant noticed that and said, "Pasand hai to lelo."
"Nahi woh bas aisehi.. woh Renuka Di ko wall hangings bohot pasand hain. Isi liye bas dekh rahi thi."
"arre dekh kyun rahi thi, lelo."
"Nahi waisebhi unke paas kafi sare hain.." saying this Navya went to collect Baba's gift.
"It's done Ma'am." said th shopkeeper
"Pack this one too.."said Anant handing the shopkeeper the wall hanging that Navya liked.
"Nahi Anant.. iski.."
"Navya.. ab tumne mere gharwalo ke itna kuch kharida to kya main Renuka Di ke liye ek wall hanging nahi kharid sakta."
Navya just smiled in reply.
*************
"Navya roadside food stall pe kabhi khana khaya hai.." Anant asked i an excited voice as they walked through the crowded Senado Square Street.
"haan.. college se laut te waqt hum aksar raste me gol gappe khaya kare the.. kyun??
"hmm... to chalo aj phirse hum roadside me khana khate hain.."
"Ihaan.."
"kyun.. ihaan khane me kya kharabi, chalona.." Anant held her hand and pulled her towards one of the food stalls that lined the Street.
They had ordered the food and were waiting. When Anant saw something on the other side of the road.
"Navya tum yaheen ruko main abhi aata hun."
"kahan ja rahe ho.."
"Ruko na main abhi ata hun.. bas do minute kahin mat jaana.. Thik hai."
"Haan.. par.."
"bas do minute Navya.." saying that Anant went away. Navya saw him walk across the street to the other side making his way through the crowd. But then she lost sight of him. She tried spotting him but couldn't. she moved her neck up straining it to see him but he couldn't be seen. She waited quietly for him thinking he would be back in a while.
"Ma'am your food is ready." said the stall owner.
"Yeah keep it aside for a minute. Will just have it in a while."
"Sure Ma'am."
Navya waited and waited it was getting late now and Anant had not come back. She tried looking across the street again but it was crowded and she couldn't see him. She tried calling him up but his phone was not reachable. She was worried now.
"Ma'am should we parcel your food?" asked the stall keeper.
"No.. actually I am waiting for my husband. Can you just keep it aside. I will just go and check where he's gone."
"Okay Ma'am."
Navya crossed the road and went to the other side where Anant had gone. She looked around but couldn't find him. She went into an alley which had a line of pastry and flower shops and looked for him but he was not there. So she thought it would be wise to get back to the food stall. BUT when she tried finding her way back she realized there were several other alleys one leading to the other and she could not make out through which one she had entered.
Navya was Lost.
She did not know what to do.. where to go now. She was very tense and tried calling Anant again. But his phone was still not reachable. She looked around and she somehow felt that everyone was looking at her. She walked to one of the shops and said, "can you tell me the way back to Chinese Food Stall by the road side."
"There are many roadside food stalls with the same name ma'am in every alley. Which one are you looking for??"
Navya did not know which one. She had just seen the name of the stall nothing else. She said "I dont know. Can you tell me how do I get out of the market."
"Yes walk straight out of the alley and then take the right turn."said the shopkeeper.
"Thank you." said Navya in a tense manner.
As Navya walked straight in an attempt to find her way back. A middle-aged man came to her and said, "Ma'am are you lost?? I can help you out. where do you want to go. I can take you."
Navya was scared, "No thank you. I will go back on my own." she said and started walking but the man did not listen he said, "Ma'am I am a guide I know the place well, tell me where you want to go. I will help you."
"No I can go on my own.. "saying this Navya hurried her way out the alley but she could sense someone was still following her so she hurried on. But then someone placed a hand on her shoulder and she was determined to hit the person with the packet of gifts she carried. She turned around with an urgency put her hand up to hit him when the person held her hand..
"Yeh kya kar rahi ho?? aur tum kabhi baat kyun nahi sunti Kya kaha maine stall me ruko, phir chhodke kyun aayi stall?? haan" said Anant a bit rudely.
There was a moment of silence and then...
Navya hugged him. In broad day light, in the over crowded Senado Square Navya embraced Anant. She was glad that she found him or rather glad that he found her out, glad that she was with him now.
Navya was crying. She was holding Anant tight. She refused to let go. Just a minute back she had thought she was stuck, stuck in an unknown city among strangers. She was scared to death but then a minute later, the braver prince, "her braver prince" had come to her rescue yet again.
"Navya.. kya hua?? I am.. i am sorry.. woh tum stall me nahi thi to main.. mujhe gussa aa gaya please royo mat." said Anant who felt that she was crying because he scolded her in public again.
"I am sorry Navya.." as he said this he caressed her hair with his left hand. "please mat royo.. I.. I promise main phir gussa nahi honga.. promise."
Navya was still holding Anant and crying. But now as people in the crowded Market area were beginning to look at them and Navya opened her eyes to find that people were noticing. Navya slowly let go of Anant and said, "Nahi woh.. woh.. maine socha ki main.. main kho gayi.. aur aur.. woh.. woh.. main.." she was unable to speak.
"Navya aise kaise tum kho jaogi?? main huun na.." said Anant assuringy, "aur tum mujhe phone bhi to kar sakti thi na.."
"haan maine kiya tha par.. phone nahi lag raha tha.. aur..tum mil nahi.. nahi.. rahe the..to.. maine.. maine.. socha ki.. ki.. ..."Navya was crying...
"Navya.. royo mat.. Navya.." Anant tried to console her.. He put his arm around her shoulder from the side and said, "ab to main mil gaya na.. ab chup ho jayo... chup ho jao Navya.. acha yeh lo.." said Anant, giving her a bouquet that he held in his right hand
Navya looked up to see what Anant was giving her.
"Yeh kya hai?"
"Kya hai matlab?? Flowers hain.. yehi to lane gaya tha main.. tumhe phool bohot pasan hain na.. ihaan flower shop dekha to socha tumhare liye le aayu.. par shop me bhid thi to iss liye late ho gaya aur wapas aake dekha ki tum stall me nahi ho.."
"woh main.. main.. tumhe dhundne.."
"Haan Pata hai... Par kyun?? maine tumhe kaha the na ki main bas kuch hi der me aata hun.."
"Haan par tum laut nahi rahe the aur tumhara phone bhi nahi.. nahi lag raha tha to mujhe laga.. ki tumhe kuch.. main.. main dar gayi thi.."
Anant listened to Navya. He wiped her tears and said, "mujhe kuch nahi hua.. sab thik hai.."
Navya looked up at him teary-eyed.
"Ab yeh lo tumhare flowers aur rona band karo..tum rote hue achi nahi lagti.. aur chalo ab hum hotel chalte hain."
Navya took the flowers and smiled.
************
"Navya jaldi karo.. tumhe pata haina 6.30 se exhibition shuru ho jayega aur hum late pochenge.. "
"Haan woh bas.. main.." Navya was ready but her malgalsutra had got tangled with her hair and she tried desperately to untangle it. But the more she tried, the more tangled it got.
"Navya tumhe kitna time lagega.."
"Haan main.. uff mera yeh mangalsutra.." said Navya irritated now.
Anant noticed this and came to her. He stood behind her in front of the mirror and said, "Main.. main madat kardun??"
"Hmmm.."
Anant went near her and removed her hair from her back, his hands touched her bare neck. As he did that Navya closed her eyes. She experienced a different sensation within her, something that she had never felt before.
Anant untangled it within a few seconds and then his eyes fell on Navya's reflection in the mirror. She still had her eyes closed and some strands of her hair fell on her face as always. He was looking at her, her face, her innocence, her beauty. But its just then that his phone rang and Both Anant and Navya were back to their senses. Anant removed his hand and Navya opened her eyes.
Anant searched for his phone and received it, "Sir the Painting Exhibition's gonna start in about 10 minutes would you and ma'am come down."
"Ye-yes.. we are on our way." said Anant and hung up.
"Chalo reception se call tha. woh exhibition shuru ho jayega. Shayad the painter has arrived too.." told Anant to Navya not looking at her.
Navya too avoided eye contact and said, "haan chalo."
As they were on their way to the hall on the ground floor of their hotel where the exhibition was to be held navya asked Anant, "Anant tumne pata kiya kaunse painter ki exhibition hai?"
"o haan.. maine pata kiya tha batana bhool gaya.. It's some famous painter from USA...Anubhav Mukherjee.."
Navya froze hearing the name.
