Hey friends Thanks again for all the appreciation.. As most of you all wanted to know Anant's reaction and reply to Navya's question.. here's chapter 9 with Anant's reaction.. I updated it today itself..I hope you guys like it.
LOVE HAPPENS <3 CHAPTER 9: THE TOUCHING WORDS
"Pata Nahi.." said Anant looking into Navya's eyes..
"Matlab?? Main samjhi nahi.." asked Navya trying to sound calm..
"Matlab mujhe pata nahi Navya.. Iss baat ko chaar saal ho gaye hain Navya.." said Anant and then became quiet.
"The day I got to know that she would marry someone else.. I was very upset.. heartbroken.. bohot.. bohot bura laga tha mujhe.. I knew that she wont be back.. she wont be mine ever par phir bhi main.. main hope karta raha ki woh.. woh..khabhi na kabhi.. mere pass..."he broke off in between...
Navya could sense that the mere memory of the bygone days of heartbreak was painful for Anant.. But she still did not know how to react..
"But then jis din uska wedding card aaya, mere ghar I knew this is it.. Uss dinse maine khudko kaam me busy kar liya.. har waqt me khudko kisina na kisi cheez me involved rakhta tha taki uski yaad na aaye.. aur pata hai kya.. I was successful.. Saare kaam ke beech woh.. woh saari yaadein kahin kho gayi.. Dheere dheere jis Rashmi ko yaad kiye bina mera ek pal nahi guzarta tha uski yaadein kahin guum ho gayi.. Agar aaj Rajiv nahi milta aur woh Rashmi ka naam nahi leta to shayad mujhe yeh sab yaad bhi nahi aata.." paused Anant.
Navya thought if Anant spoke the truth because his eyes showed the pain he felt to recall the incident..
"Par.. Aj jab yeh sab yaad aa gaya to pata nahi.. pata nahi.. kyun mujhe itna bura lag raha hai.. shayad.. shayad abhi bhi.. main.. " Anant stopped looked away from Navya and went and sat on a bench by the poolside..
Navya had mixed feelings.. She felt strange and weird.. why she did not know.. She appreciated the fact that Anant was telling her the truth but still she felt something within her was not happy that Anant still felt for Rashmi.. BUT as she saw Anant in pain she thought it was only right on her part to put her own thoughts and feelings behind and attend to Anant.
She went up to Anant sat beside him but did not say anything..
"Tumhe pata hai Navya woh ek baar mumbai ayi thi uske shadi ke baad.. aur hum accidentally mile gaye the.. ushi...ushi cafe me zahan hum college ke dino me mila karte the.. woh apne pati ke saath aayi thi.. bohot khush lag rahi thi.. Uss din bhi.. usse milke khush nahi ho paya tha main.. Mujhe pata hai mujhe uske liye khush hona chahiye tha.. par main nahi ho paya.. pata nahi kyun.. main janta hun i was being selfish.. par main kya karta.. main.. main.." Anant stopped speaking..
Even now Navya kept quiet.. She dint say anything to Anant..
"Main janta huun.. yeh galat hai.. uski shadi ho gayi hai.. aur ab to meri bhi.. Par main kya karun.. mujhe aj bhi bura lagta hai.. mujhe pata hai mujhe aisa nahi feel karna chahiye.. pata hai ki.. yeh sab.. sab galat..."
"Kuch galat nahi hai.." spoke Navya finally cutting Anant abruptly. Anant looked at her and found that Navya was looking at him.
"Kisne kaha ki yeh galat hai?? Pata hai meri Dadi kehti hain ki dil pe kisika bas nahi. aur kabhi chalana bhi nahi chahiye.. tum jo chahe feel kar sakte ho.. isme kuch galat nahi hai.. " spoke Navya strongly.. "kehte hai..ki waqt ke saath saath ristey badal jate hain.. log badal jate par feelings kabhi nahi badalti.. aur kisise pyaar karne me kuch galat nahi hai.." smiled Navya.
"Pata hai galat kab hota jab tum yeh jante huye ki woh kisi aurse shadi kar rahi hai uski decision ko influence karne ki koshish karte..galat tab hota agar tum usse blame karte tumse pyaar na karne ke liye.. galat tab hota agar tum mujhe.. mujhe.. yeh sab nahi batate.. Par tumne to aisa kuch bhi nahi kiya.. tumne to yeh prove kar diya ke tum kitne sahi ho.. kitne ache ho.." continued Navya.
Anant was listening to her all this while. He was amazed, impressed, touched by Navya's words..
He smiled at Navya and Navya smiled back.
They sat in that bench without speaking much looking at each other for how long no one could tell.
"Anant hum room me chalen.. bohot raat ho gayi hai na.. " said Navya after some time..
Anant nodded and together they went got up to go to their room.. but before getting into the elevator Anant said," Navya!!"
"Hmmm.. bolo"
"Tum bhi bohot achi ho!!" smiled Anant
Navya smiled back..
