About The Show Navya

Navya symbolises the young, new generation of India. A 19-year old college goer, Navya is the average girl-next-door, who is confused about her life. She is extremely identifiable with the youth of India. Navya naturally balances modernity & traditionalism in her day-to-day life without even consciously thinking about it. Like most youngsters today, Navya has middle class parents, who constantly struggle between being parents and friends to their children.

Her friends enjoy better freedom at home - one of them also has a boyfriend. Navya secretly wishes for the same - someone who would do mushy things for her - yet she is happy in her own world. As luck would have it, Navya falls in love with Anant, a boy hailing from a traditional and conservative family. Over time, the story beautifully captures Navya and Anant's journey of love and their trials and tribulations in trying to stay uniquely Indian and yet moving ahead with the times.

We are glued to the show Navya because its so real and any person can relate the scenes to their real life. It's the entire Navya team, on-screen & off-screen worked hard to entertain us. Navya is a show about a middle class family girl falls in love with a guy who is from an orthodox family. They travel through all phase of love like attraction, romance, attachment , trust, fight, understanding, fear/jealousy, etc. One fine day, their families come to know about their relationship. Initially both the families are against them but finally both their parents understand their kids and now both are ready for their marriage . The girl is our beautiful, innocent, lovable Navya and the guy is our majnu, gulabo, charming Anant.
