Oye hoye meri paagal ladkiyaan! No one's around kya? Anyways, I just caught last night's episode, and WHOA boy, Anant is SCREWED! Jenny, thanks for opening the adda, and *bows down* thanks for such a wonderful post! It left me in splits! The rest of the usuals gave amazing takes as well, and its now my turn to say a little bit about the episode!
1. New Age Anniversary: I still fail to see what does Navya do at the office. She seems to be following Amar around with that legal pad, and he seems to be ignoring her very presence! Amar and Sharmishtha ke baare mein toh I'll just STFU only, I'm used to their fights, and I kinda find them funny! Like they argue over different hues, and then completely bypass each other's instructions! I really wanna know HOW and WHY did they get married man? And Nabbya Rani toh is mahaan, she's all upset about her boss's fight. I mean, who gives a crap if your boss has family issues? Sort out your own family issues first!
2. Anant Babua ka pehla jhatka!: Poor guy, he's sooo stressed out! I mean, its like he has to follow every Mishra around, so that none of them reveal the truth about his beloved jhalli working! Renu is ABOUT to tell Mohan, but Anant Babua covers up for his mehraru. Then, he wants to go home early, but all of a sudden he has to attend some meeting, cause of which he's delayed. To worsen things, the poor guy has to go home with Om and Mohan today, which delayed things even more! Small question: Normally Mohan and Om don't insist on travelling with Anant, suddenly why did they wanna share a car?
3. Dadi Chachi's entry, and the bomb blast!: And we finally see Dadi Chachi. She's all smiley and happy, and liking the Nayi Dulhania a lot. But Nayi Dulhania is a bloody jhalli, and when she starts talking, she doesn't stop! And so the moment Anant enters, he listens to his beloved telling his ENTIRE freaking khandaan that she's working! Bechare ke chehre pe baara baj gaye! And Nabbya didn't stop there, she went on to say how she wasn't going to Badrinath, how she was going to stay in Rits' house and what not! Baba looked as if he wanted to strangulate Navya; BD looked pretty much the same, all pissed off and grouchy; Mohan was in shock, possibly contemplating about how could Anant get so stupid as to allow Navya to work; Rama looked as if Christmas had come early and the DAs were as usual, shocked and upset. Our Shehzaada Salim looked as if he was about to be crushed between two walls! I'm sure Ranbir's statement was echoing in his head, "Teri family Navya ko maar daalegi, aur Navya tujhe maar dalegi!" I toh was scared when Om was yelling his lungs out at Anant, I mean, the way he was screaming, he could have burst a vein or something! Anant as usual, couldn't do or say anything, but one thing I'm happy about is the fact that at least they all know its not Navya's fault, so she won't get THAT screwed, IMO! The last scene where Navya was OTW home in that auto really left me in splits. I mean, she's sooo happy that she has such a supportive sasuraal, and they always care about her happiness. She really lives in a world of her own IMO, where she has no knowledge of the REAL world! She's soo shocked at Amar-Sharmishtha's fights, and she thinks the Bajpaayees are all modern and nice! God, gift her brains!
4. Dadi Chachi- Nice or Fake?: I'm sorry guys, I had to make a special little sections for this lady. IMO, she's NOT nice. Did you all notice her expressions whenever Navya said something that the Bajpayees shouldn't have known? For like a second, she gave the shocked expression, and then changed it to that of happiness and pride. And all those taunts she kept giving? Ek bahu chula chauka smabhaalegi, aur ek bahu kaam karegi! There are lots more, but I'm not gonna write it down here, we all have seen the episode. And of course, the aashirwaad which was a HUGE taunt to the Bajpaayees, about how the Nayi Dulhania is soo sanskari and modern at the same time! I was surprised that Navya didn't realise she was taunting everybody, I mean all the Bajpaayees were cringing whenever Navya or DC opened her mouth!
5. Precap: As we all know, Om is gonna call up Deepu and tell him to forbid Navya from working, which is gonna make everyone realise that Anant Babua lied to his hone waali mehraru. What will happen after that, only the CVs and ANANTika know!
Thoughts for the day: Didn't our Shehzaada Salim look absolutely dashing in that blue shirt! Haaye! Costume directors, please do the same for Navya! And what's with the attack of red? Someone or the other is ALWAYS in some shade of red! And WHEN are the Mishras going to Badrinath? ME ke baad? IMO, the ME is gonna solve some issues, where something happens and Navya is allowed to work by the Bajpaayees, and for some reason Anant too has to work along with her, and that's when we see the love-gurus in action! I'm not too sure about the Renu thing though, maybe Gautam will do some shit, but I doubt the Bajpaayees will find out about it.
I am in LOWEE with ANANTika these days! What awesome jhatkas and tracks! She's on a roll! There's even an increase in the romance, but of course, the director and the leads don't do justice to it, but its there! And there's a possibility of improvement! And oh, BTW TRP is not 1.99 guys, its around 2.36, according to http://www.televisiontrp.com/show/star-plus-show/navya.html. IMO, that's a reliable TRP checking site.
And that's all from me for now! I don't think I can come online later again today cause I have to go shopping, and then I've gotta attend dinner somewhere, but I'll try and peek in!
