Navya and Anant's college days are over and they are now all set to enter their professional lives. However, the latest news that is flowing in from the sets of Swastik Pictures' Navya is that Gagan Malik has been roped in to play the role of Navya's boss in the show. It's a cameo which will last for two months.
Sources revealed to us that Gagan ' famous for his character in Kumkum ' was signed at the last minute. He was in Delhi until 10 November night when he got a call from the makers and he caught a flight in an hour's time and reached Mumbai. The actor will make an entry in tonight's episode.
"My character, Amar, is that of a strict man who is also very good at heart. He is a through professional and very particular about things," confirms Gagan.
In the show, Gagan will own a media firm along with his wife. Gagan and his wife were madly in love with each other but once they started working together their relationship turned sour. Navya and Anant will work in the same firm and they will try to bring Gagan and his wife together.
Gagan was last seen in Star One's Shakuntala and it's been quite some time since he has made any appearance on the small screen. "I did sign Dr. Chandra Prakash's show but things didn't work out and it got scrapped. It was a nice show having a large canvas but it is sheer bad luck that it did not hit the screens," informs Gagan.
Better late than never, Gagan. We hope viewers like you in the show.
