Hi Tanu, at the risk of being termed BD squared by Kiran, 😉 I am back to rant some more on this new post of yours as well...
Firstly Tanu, your title for the episode is quite apt as usual, idiotic it certainly was.
But before I begin ranting again, let me just highlight the few things that I liked today. And that is because, I am in much better mood now than I was earlier b/c I finished watching DK entirely. Nobody told me that it was such hilarious show as well., not to talk about the romance in it. Such a superb show, a huge thanks to all who suggested seeing it. 🤗
1. Liked the way Anant's mom makes a face at BD's caustic comments. 😡 First time she displayed any irritation, hopefully, this is a signal for things to come...
2. Liked the way Anant told BD quite openly & confidently that he was going to meet Navya at the nearby store. No need to hide from her or anyone anymore. The more he is open about their meetings, the quicker she will learn to ignore them and keep her acidic comments to herself. 😡
3. When Anant threatens Ranbir to send him upar, if he, so much as breathes a word of his plan to Ritz and Ranbir swears to zip his mouth totally, loved the zipping bg given then. I know, these are small things but yaar, I am trying to fish for all the nice things to mention about today's episode.
4. Actually liked the way Anant wheedles the truth about the permission for the girls night out from Navya by getting her distracted, that was pretty cool IMO.
5. Ritz's dress was pretty, but now new, have seen it before.
But that's where my likes for the episode end abruptly. It went completely south from that point on. 😡
The less said the better about the episode. Testing our intelligence and patience to the extreme.
Also, tomorrow's episode seems to be even worse than today. Navya getting humiliated in front of a room full of boys is not something that I am looking forward to.
BTW, Anant's shirt from the eyelock is different from the one that he wore today. The earlier shirt was so much better, as it did not have the shoulder flaps, which looked ridiculous IMO nor the weird logos on the shirt.
I agree with everyone about the budget crunch hints being dropped by daadi to angry papa, these people have no money to show even a decent roka for the LEADS!!!! Can you imagine that?? In YRKKH, even Naitik's sister, whose name escapes at the moment, got such a grand wedding!!!
Hope Navya does not end up wearing another salwar suit for her roka!!! That would indeed be the height of kanjoosi. Did not particularly care for the way they showed Meeta showing her jewelry and saying that's all I have got, c'mon, kuchh toh decent hona chahiye for the roka, even though Navya likes simple stuff. I hope she does not end up wearing any of the sets that Meeta showed today.
Random Musings:
1. The ipk episode today was quite good, even the 2 sis episode was quite good. The only thing I don't like about the show is the annoying younger sis, Manvi, she gets on my nerves for some reason.
2. Navya should burn the jhatak pink dress ASAP, cannot imagine she wore it again
3. Why are forum adjectives given only for Anant's dialogues and nobody else?? Is it the CVs or him peeping in?? 😉
