Fab analysis Tanu! 👏
Although I no longer follow Navya, I must confess I do try to sneak in a peek at the forum just to catch your analysis. It's very well meticulated. 😊
I happen to catch this epi that you're talking about on tv the other day by some freak of fate. Some musings (Warning- I am watching this show almost after 2 months to please don't mind if there is lack of coherence in my post 😆)-
I think the actors playing Navya's family deserve an applause hands-down. They truly make you empathise with their situation, feel their sorrows and want to just reach out to them.
In the Renuka situation, I love the way her father aka Deepak acted. The way he went to her room and told her that she was his princess, trying to control his own emotions so that he can be a pillar of support for his anguished baby. The innate affection portrayed through his calling her 'bachha' and telling her that irrespective of anything and everything he would always be there for her. He's a brilliant actor, and I must say that even his character has been etched out beautifully. He's acting so reasonable yet comforting, he realises that he's talking about a very serious issue to his damaad ,who in the Indian is almost worshipped by the girl's parents, he is putting across his views in a dignified manner, knowing that although his SIL is at fault, yet wanting to keep that flicker of hope alive that his daughter's marital life can still be restored back to its former glory. Though yes even I o feel that this track has been halted abruptly, but I guess the family would be in for a bigger shock by Gaurav in the upcoming episodes with his ludicrous tactics.
By the way, who is weird dude playing Gaurav now? And what is wrong with his hair?! Somebody tell him that the 60's have and GONE 😆🤪
Now coming to the daadi bit in the story. My heart goes out to her when that Voldemort incarnation Tai jee with her vicious spewn attempts to assault daadi with her words. What an absolutely evil cold-hearted female! Her words slice through like dagger, she and her drunk- massochistic pig of a son! 😡
The way she talks to dadi in that high-pitched-raised eyebrow warning tone is disgusting. The look on dadi's face breaks my heart. The scared worried look on her face, combined with her polite stuttering brings out her emotions exceptionally well. She too is a brilliant actor! I guess they are trying to show the ungrateful attitude that people tend to show towards their parents in their old age, disregarding their presence in the house and mocking their very existence. But I'm so glad that Navya heard all of it, and that dadi will be back in mumbai in her dadi-sab-jaane-hai mode. Though I concur with Tanu that Tai-ji should be made to realise her absolutely pathetic attitude! And specially, if she acts like this during the wedding, the Bajpayees are not going to form a very good impression of the Mishras, which could affect AN eventually.
I agree with Nisha aka Alex lol 😆( PS- How are your fb babies? :P) that the dress was very unflattering on Navya. She looked distorted, what with the weird orientation of the dupatta and the awkward length of the choli. Though, I must compliment Renuka's pretty pink sari, and the jewellary she put on with it. She looked absolutely stunning, to say the least. I haven't seen Anant yet, so can't comment on him 😆
So that's pretty much it from my side! 😊
