She stood gazing at the moon in the night sky.. Her soft silky hair swayed gently to the rythm of the wind... She smiled as she remembered how he played with her hair... If only she could get back those golden days.. How much she wished to be in his arms.. how much she craved for that goodnight kiss..
"Why?? Why does happen to me only??"

*Knock Knock*

Her thoughts were interuppted by a knock at the door..
The only word that escaped was- "Anant"

heyya evryone.. Im sorry for the delay.. as I have so many FFs pending.. I always knew Im bad at multi tasking.. 🤣...
Anyway.. here you go with the first chapter dedicated to my readers who encouraged me to proceed with this FF.

Ch 1

Kiss of the Dark

She stood gazing at the moon in the night sky.. Her soft silky hair swayed gently to the rythm of the wind... She smiled as she remembered how he played with her hair... If only she could get back those golden days.. How much she wished to be in his arms.. how much she craved for that goodnight kiss..
"Why?? Why does happen to me only??"

Her thoughts were interupted by a knock at the door..
The only word that escaped was- "Anant"

She rushed towards the door. She was very excited and why not, afterall Her Anant was back. However, her happiness was short lived as her visitor was-
Ritz- "I home.."

Ritz hugged her sister & ruffled her hair. Ritika was Navya's elder sister. She had been taking good care of her ever since the death of their parents. She was married to Ranbir. Both Ritz & Ranbir lived with Navya. Ritz had made it clear that she wouldnt let her sis live alone.

Navya- "Ritz, how was ur day?"

Ritz- "Tiring.. It would have been good had ur Jiju not inteferred in my work."

Navya smiled- "Ok C'mon Ritz.. Jiju loves you alot."

Ritz- " Well, ur Jiju also knows that I hate any disturbance during work. Anyway, Im hungry."

Navya- "Okay Okay.. Dinner is ready".

Later that night, Navya was lying in bed looking at her most priced possesion. It was a huge potrait of Anant. It covered almost the whole wall facing the bed. He looked so cute..
Her mind flew back to day her gifted her a beautiful dress.

Flashback- Navya was pacing to & fro in the garden.
"This Guy is never on time."
Just then she felt strong arms snaking her waist.

"Did U miss Me?"

Navya jerked his hands off- "What took You so long? Dnt U knw I've been waiting for You?"

"Aww.. My Princess was waiting for me?"

Navya-" Dnt try to butter me with ur sweet talks Anant, Im not gonna fall for it."

Anant- "Chill.. Okay see what I've bought for You."

He handed over a small rectangular package. Curiousity got the best of her as she snatched it from Anant's hand. On opening it, she was shocked. It was a beautiful dress.

this is Navya's gift

"I want u to wear it tonight." he whispered in her ears & planted a kiss on her cheeks.
Navya turned red due to embarrasment. She just ran away without responding.

At home she stood in front of the mirror admiring herself. She looked very beautiful. Unkown to her, Anant was watching her from past 20 mins. He was taken aback by her beauty. He crept towards her. He placed his lips on her shoulder & kissed her softly. Navya was surprised to see him.

"Wha-what are U doin here?"

Anant- " I couldnt resist especially when ur looking so... "

He tried to kiss her but she pushed him. As she turned to leave, he grabbed her wrist & pulled her in his arms.

"U cant escape"

With that he laid her on the bed & locked her lips with his. The kiss was a pleasant surprise for her as she responed by kissing back. She hugged him tight. He moved down to her neck and nuzzled her. She was lost in his love.

"I love you.. Anant.." she said lovingly and fell asleep in his arms.

Flashback over

She smiled at him. "Today I cooked ur fav dish. Ritz relished it... I wonder if Jiju would also like it?"

"Of course.. Anything prepared by you is just yummy.."

Navya was overjoyed on hearing those words. They were music to her ears.

"Anant.. you're back.."

Tears of joy rolled down her pink cheeks..

Precap-

Ritz- "Navya.. whats wrong with you?"

Navya- "Ritz.. I swear.. I swear he was here.. Anant was here.. He came to meet me.. I.."

Ritz- "Shup up Navya.. (but before she could go on, Ranbir cut her)

Ranbir- "Ritz.. I'll handle it.."

Ritz- "But Ranbir.."

Ranbir- "Trust me.. I can handle it."
