This is the ratings order of reality shows this week and pretty much the same last week too but this week Nach's impressions are very poor. So the excuse of sare ga ma pa being the kids show won't work. It's mostly always at the last position. In the recent past dance shows did well trp wise, so Nach being a dance show is not a valid argument either.

But I don't think it will affect the actors negatively as most of them are actors. Winning NB or making it no 1 show won't add any brownie points in their professional career. However, a constant pressure does exist for them since this is perhaps the most promoted, marketed and expensive reality shows in recent times. I saw Divyanka sharing a blog content in her twitter that mentioned Nach topping the reality show list (which was wrong info btw), that shows they ALL do care about the ratings and the pressure is there. After all it is a heavily publicized show and many contestant couples have been paid huge amount. If they can't deliver the ratings with supposedly so much popularity, then it's a big question mark on their actual popularity.

Anyway, the channel now should realize all that glitters online is not gold. 😆 And, the nadaan fans hopefully will tone down their millions of millions fans chants at the drop of a hat...😆

This forum is to discuss the show and its contestants rather than the forum member or fanbases. Making any personal attacks or derogatory names calling against members/contestants, is NOT acceptable.

No single fan group will try to dominate or create a ruckus on the forum. Tolerate and learn to respect other's choices.

Having said that, dislike, criticism, disagreement or contradiction is not considered bashing and everyone is welcome to express their opinions within the NB8 forum rules and IF COC.

At the same time, comments not following Nach Baliye 8- Rules Thread

will face action accordingly.

Last time NB with its BB type format (and Balaji PH 😉 ) was a washout ... so this time neither the format nor the PH has been repeated. Celeb contestants won't be repeated anyway ... every time they have to get new ones, so obviously the channel tries to get more popular ones, whom they feel audiences will be interested in watching ... they may or may not be from the top TRP shows. Despite SNS being in top 10, I don't think any actors from there have ever been invited 😉... just as example. On TV, no actor guarantees trps ... Kapil being probably the only exception.

Channels get idea of popularity more through voting patterns and SNS ...even channels know that TRPs are not sole indicators of popularity. Again taking Indian Idol (which I watched and followed), channel saw which contestants were popular on social media and who were not ... and dropped the less popular (but better) ones. Trps dropped the following couple of weeks. Finale of Indian Idol was the same day as NB first episode ... its trps were lower than NB. Normally finale of II ... or of any reality show is always highest ... in this case it wasn't.

So it's much more complicated than just saying trps are low, so that means popular jodis are really not so popular. It's like saying SRK's KBC got lower TRPs than AB sr's ... so SRK is less popular than AB Sr. Easy for bashing purposes ... but nothing else 😆

And clearly nb has been below par

It says something when tv show of one of the major participants of this show is having higher trps than this show despite at the moment airing worst of the show tracks and even after enduring that ppl are switching off tv or changing channels

if u are talking abt dance shows even the trps for jhalak were not that great last year so whatever trp nach is gettibg is quite decent for the fact other then the jodis there is no chemistry or rapport among the judges n the hostz i would have prefered karan to host this solo n bharti to stop her crude behaviour
