It might be a flop but it is still worthy of our time as long as our favourites aee there in the show...i might agree that for a general non-fan viewer, it might be really boring...Hope it picks up its pace soon...

I strictly do not watch these shows for the same reason ...but been followingNB on news and seen some snippets...since it airs on a channel I follow...so here goes a long rant...

Its early days for this show ...to pass a verdict- but then this show is also a short version format which is not going to last more than 3 months - so will it be everyone's money's worth if the ratings are only good for the last 2 finale epis...i don't think so ..it will mean a heavy bleed for all involved.

Few facts that I have observed...

This show has been marketed heavily in print..outdoor and television..all 3 involve big costs and overheads...most other reality shows other than JDJ and maybe Indian idol had much leser publicity costs...

This shows production cost per episode is much much higher than most shows on air right now ...reality or daily soap...if the remuneration given out tp the media by the production house BBC was right...then the costs of keeping the hyped jodis till the end plus that of the anchors and that of the huge standing sets and judges is big big money...

How does one recover such high costs of production- through sponsors and advertisers ..anf how do these ppl calculate their returns...only through ratings and no of eyeballs...and sadly the only approved rating remains the BARC system...

By those standards if I was a advertiser associated with NB..i would be damn worried post the first 2 weeks of this show with the kind of trps...

For those who claim the current trp system sucks..i agree totally...but then if the makers werent chasing trps why would they make a contrived dance show with so called popular faces - many of whom seem to be simply there only to draw trps..no effort of any sort otherwise.. ... (at least till.now )

Don't believe me ..check all the PR fed articles last week claiming NB is a trp winner all the way ..why not position it as a great content driven reality show?..cos clearly the makers too want trps ..

Finally ...this version of NB is quite thanda till now for a viewer like me who isn't a big fan of any of the jodis.

Dancing is the same old stuff...and hosting and judges are hardly entertaining..

In fact the best part of the show in what I saw was aashka and Brent and their chemistry and maybe a few dances that seemed 'different '..and those were hardly 'Sold' as usps werent they ...

So would the producers and advertisers actually gain...right no seems like a big no...2 months down the line would it be different...one has to see ..especjalky with IPL clocking phenomenal numbers...

I do agree with you ..that the TRPs that were expected from the show are not as such . And hence no wonder the channels is trying their best to promote their trp show and popular lead and gain the viewers ... atleast they'll come to know how social media fan and Real world fans choices are different 😆

Having said I do watch the show as I find good potential in few pairs.
And ya ..I'll anyday prefer watching NB over YHM ... though NB too has the same OTT acting by same Actress 😆

yhm is nearly 4 years old

nowadays it is running with very less ss of leads

so cost is less

on the other hand nb is having big names so it should have good trp catching power irrespective of ipl

Its trp is 1.9 this week so not bad. Sargamapa trp is 2.3, rising star trp is 1.9 and Kapil's current current crappy show scored 2.0. But considering the fact that, Star plus has invested huge time and money for contestants, promotions, set design etc, other weekend reality shows are still performing better than NB with a much less budget is a big blow to NB.

I don't understand who watch yhm
This show is a crap
Not only mist of the daily soap is a crap
