Is season 8 following the same format with the games and other things that happened last season? I didn't read anything about it so was wondering 😊

Sadly, no. It is back to the same old format where you have two good for nothing judges who are there to judge the romance since they know nothing about dance anway. And the other judge is there to act like pseudo-Saroj Khan. It will be telecasted once a week.

I preferred last year's format, at least it was fun to watch Chetan act like a troll, and dysfunctional couples fail at random 'couply' games to test their 'coupleness'.

Last year's drama and all those stories were a bit too much. I really prefer focus on dance and not sob stories and unrequired antics.

The problem is, they are going to do the same drama this year, nevertheless. Didn't you see that pukeworthy forced proposal session?
At least...last year the concept was such it seemed like they are just trolling themselves and that made their drama laughable, not annoying. This time around, it is just annoying. :|
We would just skip the drama episode, but now they are going to have special slots after the danceto force feed us stories of how their love blossomed. SMH.
Thank god there are some sane couples who do not seem interested in doing all this fake showmance drama.

I liked last year's format as well. It was all fun and a little more than just dancing. There are so many just dancing shows - that was a nice thing that they had added. I wonder if that format didn't work for them last time.
