I don't know much but they were both the main leads in colors SSK, during that time Dipika separated from her husband for reasons best known to them. Then in 2013 I believe Shoaib quit the show as he never liked the track and story how it was progressing. Both were very good friends but lost contact but they met a few times at functions and they realised they liked each other and then kept meeting and now they are in love.
