Chetan's comment about men in India being spoiled and made to think that they are princes by their mothers was RIGHT ON POINT! A big applaud to him for saying that!

He might be rude, but his comments on the Indian society are bang on!

So many men in India have a mentality like that. They are brought up as princes, and right from their birth, they are treated like kings who don't do any housework, get what they want, etc while daughters are always made to help their mothers, learn cooking, etc. WHY?? In today's generation, so many woman work outside from home just as much as women, then why is she still expected to do everything??

If you look at the thoughts of some rapists, you will find the exact same mentality. They think that women should always listen to them, wear covered clothes, do all the housework, etc while they just sit and relax like kings and so whatever they want to women. PATHETIC!

And how do they get this mentality? Most of the times it is through their upbringing, which the mother has a big hand in. I am not saying that all mothers in India are like this, definitely not. But there are some who treat their sons like kings and don't teach them to respect woman at all. Right from birth, the son is never made to do any work. The mother always spoils him and does everything for him, which leads the man to expect the same from his wife.

If men are treated like princes, then daughters too should be treated like princess. Boys should be brought up to treat his future wife like a princess, who is equal to him, and not at all inferior to him in any way. Maybe then, women in the country wouldn't be treated in such an awful way.

The man who treats his woman with love and respect is a true man.

And a big applaud for himanshoo too! The way he whispered in her ear to console her after she fumbled on her lift was so sweet!

I agree. Chetan is clueless and so r the other judges who give scores based on personal favorites. However, this was the only intelligent thing he has uttered in the show.

It isn't a problem just in India and it isn't a problem at all. In the entire world this is how things run. Woman aren't at all disrespected just because they cook and do household work. Many men help out with that but from millenniums that is how things have been over the world. And that isn't going to change any time soon.

This is a non-issue as it isn't causing any harm. You aren't respecting your wife any less by letting her cook for you. And for the most part, woman don't have an issue with doing the work.

I think it is a problem in India. Not all women like being forced to cook
and do household chores, some want to work on their careers or hobbies.
