Gurdip says, "I wanted to be away from the show for at least a month and a half, and I had made my intentions clear to the production house six months in advance.

Since I was rehearsing and shooting for Nach Baliye 2, I hardly got time to shoot for Sinndoor and hence could not build a bank. We discussed this problem and I decided to quit. Anyways, I have been doing Sinndoor for the last two years. There's hardly anything left to do."

Gurdip's character will be bumped off in an accident. She says, "No new girl will step into my shoes. There'll be no plastic surgeries! But yes, we have a new female character and the focus will be on her now."

Pamper party
Gurdip says that she could have held on to the show if she wanted. "But I don't want a hectic schedule so close to my wedding. I want to pamper myself at the parlour and spa. I want to lose weight and get fit. Of course, I wouldn't mind indulging in some shopping too. I am going to have a big fat wedding in Delhi, followed by a huge function in Mumbai. There will lots of dhamaal and masti. I have waited for this day for too long and I want to look my best," she says.

Gurdeep and Arjun will go on a six-day honeymoon to Maldives after performing on the Nach Baliye grand finale on December 18. "We'll go on a proper honeymoon in February," she says with
a laugh.
