Choreographers getting their due..

Hi friends,

It just crossed my mind that in this season, the choreographers are also getting their share of credit along with the jodis which is a good thing.

Last season the main reason for Varun and Rajeshwari's success was the splendid choreography by their guy Rajiv but he somehow never got his due...neither from the judges nor from the jodi.

But in this season, all the jodis have been very gracious in giving credit to their respective choreographers which is amazing.

Some of them have done an amazing job for instance Manav-Shweta's choreographer.Compare Sweta's first performance and her performance in the romance round. What an improvement!!

Thats why I feel that most of the blame for Hiten-Gauri not coming across as good dancers goes to their stupid choreographer.Hes not working hard enough to make them improve their dance.I guess hes realised that they are so popular that they wont be kicked out so he can take it easy. This attitude is reflecting poorly on hiten-gauri,as I am sure that even they can do a great job if they had a good teacher.

Any thoughts??

Who says Rajeev Surti didn't get his due? Farhan Akhtar gave him a song to choreograph in Don!! 😃 And Rajeev has done a great job! 👏

Yeahh..this year the choreographers are getting their due.. but not that the choreographers last year weren't getting anything! Last year, Rajeev Surti, Danny-Kunjan-Savio, Jasmin, Al-Mel.. by and large all left a mark.. 👏 👏

This year the jodi's are head on giving credit to their choreographers.. and why not.. they're doing a brilliant job! 👏 👏

HuseinTina NEVER forget to thank their choreographers, Harshall-Vitthal, at the end of every performance! 👏 👏 In fact, if anything goes wrong, they always take it on themselves..that they might not have executed it as good as Harshall-Vitthal choreographed it.. 😃 They're the Awesome Foursome!

Well I don't agree that Rajeshwari-Varun never gave credit to Rajiv. I remember them saying repeatedly that he is the one behind all the innovative ideas and the day they left the show, Varun said that he considered Rajiv to be the best choreographer of the show and that he had most creativity and talent, etc etc. After the show, Rajiv's career also took off quite well, so he did get a great deal of recognition through this show.

I think the other choreographers of NB1 were not that great, other than Rajeev no one tried anything very new. If the concept is ordinary, and still the dance is good, obviously the performer gets maximum credit. In contrast, in NB2 many of the choreos are trying new things out in every episode, so obviously the appreciation is more for them.

I agree.. Varun-Rajeshwari always gave Rajeev the credit.. Even during the finals, after their performance.. Varun didn't forget to call Rajeev on stage to be with them.. 👏

Glad to know that Rajiv is doing well for himself!

I still think he wasnt given enough credit by rajeshwari especially.IF you remember right, the first time the 101 rupees was given was to Varun-Rajeshwari for the comedy round in which they switched gender roles.IT was an amazing piece of choreography but then Rajiv wasnt appreciated by Saroj Khan or acknowledged by the jodi.

But yes this season its been different and thats really good.People like Hussain-Tina and Yash-Gauri always thank their choreographers.
