I am sorry to say but I do think tht she was faking.....Because it is nt possible for someone to dance whn tht person cant walk even.....I hope u will understand my point if u r an classical dancer.....😊
Yes she could have. She could have danced with her fractured foot, and she did it.
Let me tell you how.
Human beings have something which no other species on planet possesses. Determination and a will to survive. You greatly under estimate the resilience of human beings my friend. Trust me, if you were as popular, you were sailing through to other rounds and had a chance of wining a fab competition, you would try your best to over come a hairline fracture too..........
Mind works in various ways. In ancient times, people used to take out arrows from wounded people when they were concious because there was no anasthetic available. Today, it seems impossible to us.
As a teenager, when I had a 102 temperature, my whole house used to be thrown into turmoil and I would be 'bed ridden'. Today with 102 temperature, I work, cook, clean, take care of my kids after gulping a few tablets. I do what I have to do, but if I can squeeze in a few hrs of rest, I do so too. Sreedevi shot 'Kate Nahi kat te din yeh raat' in pouring rain running 104 temperature, but she took rest, changed frequently whenever she could.
Ask any new mother. Even with a C section, she walks to her kid's cradle the very next day, picks it up, feeds, changes, does everything any other healthy woman would do whereas just a simple appendix surgery might confine that very woman to complete bed rest for at least 15 days if she does not have kids and she does not even bother to get up withoit moaning😆...... When we are relaxed, we tend to give our injured part rest. Gauri did the same. Why walk straight when it can get as much rest as possible.
Gauri's left foot is fractured. So when she walked in, she wasn't hobbling in pain. She was trying to give her injured foot a rest. But when she danced, she concentrated on dancing, and not on her foot. The good thing about their choreography was that she hardly had to put weight on both her foot for long time, and never on her injured foot without support. She has a strong will, she she showed it.
I am not a great fan of their dancing skills, but what I do know that they are one couple who do not have to resort to gimmicks, cheap or otherwise, to get votes. They already have it in large numbers.
And injury or not, this was their best performance till date.
